Eric Jacob Krieger founded «Jake’s Mountain Shuttle» primarily because he enjoyed helping people. Robert «Bert» Meckfessel started driving for Jake’s in 2011, and eventually purchased the company in 2013.

Excellent EXCELLENT service from Bert!!! took van from Breck to Vail and back. Safe driving and great tips where to ski at Vail. Very pleasant experience. Great!

How this «service» (if you can even call it that) has over 4 stars is beyond me. My husband and I are locals of Breck and were referred to this company and tried it out for the first time tonight. We literally went from south side Main St to Warriors Mark (tops 3 miles) and we were charged $ 45. That’s a total rip off. I can understand that price if we were going to Dillon from Breck.(maybe). But that is utterly ridiculous! Do yourself a favor and DO NOT use this so called «service». I could have bought a puppy for cheaper.
**UPDATE** I only downloaded this app to write this review. I’m not one to complain, but I want to help fellow locals and visitors out! Take care!

Jake’s Shuttle got me to St. Anthony’s Hospital in Frisco at 2am in the morning and then back to my resort in Breckenridge, in the middle of a snowstorm, while I was in the throes of High Altitude Sickness. Bert, the owner/driver of the shuttle service, was extraordinarily agreeable, friendly, and entertaining. I watched him field an endless array of phone calls from anxious people waiting to get picked up from all across the Vail-area ski resorts, and he remained patient and accommodating throughout. Of note, the concierge at Beaver Run Resort where I was staying had told me that there is no reliable service in those parts that late at night. When I called the Hospital, they immediately knew the one and only service that could get me to their ED safe and sound – Jake’s Shuttle – and it definitely delivered when it mattered the most.
