My fiancé and I decided to work with Joey to find our first home. Joey is one of the most friendly and easy going folks I’ve ever worked with, and he certainly loves what he does. His company’s website was easy to navigate and had tons of potential future homes, although be warned you’ll be asked to provide contact info if you start to peruse too much. When we began to narrow our choices down, Joey jumped on the chance to show us a few in person.
I remember the first night we visited a few homes, Joey invited us over to his own home to discuss the nitty gritty details and process of home buying, which surprised me because it was already pretty late that night. He was able to answer all of our questions and was available via text and facebook messenger when we weren’t together. His communication skills and energy are refreshing traits you don’t see often, and I greatly appreciated his willingness to be available at all times as our schedules are all over the place.
I was shocked we put an offer on our home a matter of hours after visiting it. By the next morning, we had negotiated a final offer with the sellers. A week or two later, the appraisal came in a few grand below the negotiated price. Joey was able to secure the price at the appraisal value, saving us tons of money on the mortgage.
