Land Rover Frisco

I recently purchased a pre-​owned Jeep Grand Cherokee from Erick Roman. I wasn’t sure what to expect, coming in to look at a Jeep at a Land Rover dealership, but the experience has been excellent.
I didn’t feel like I was being overly pressured to purchase the vehicle, as I did at other dealerships.
Erick took the time to make sure that the vehicle met the criteria that I was looking for.

I just bought a Range Rover this past week from Joel Burnette and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. He was kind, funny, and extremely knowledgable. He took my parents and I on the most exciting test drive of our lives and when we decided to move forward with the purchase, he was helpful every step of the way. Highly recommend Land Rover Frisco.

I think it is tough in the car business to get all 5 stars for the overall dealership. I should mention that I have not purchased a car here… yet. My wife and I are in the market for a luxury SUV and we wanted to learn more about Land Rovers so we stopped in here.
We were fortunate to meet Tracie Carter, a wonderful sales rep who spent a lot of time to get us up to speed on a brand that we know very little about. We drove a couple of the vehicles to compare power and features and Tracie took us over the crazy rough terrain course they have at the dealership. Whoa, the car felt like it would fall over but it carried on.
Anyway, we learned so much about the line of cars without ANY sales pressure from Tracie. We now have a vehicle on our short list that was not there a day before. This place has a gem of a sales rep in Tracie. Plus, she has been with Land Rover since 1991. she REALLY knows her stuff!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE my new Range Rover Sport HSE… Such an incredible vehicle. Erick Roman was my Salesman and he was outstanding. I was not «attacked» by salesmen as soon as I walked in the door (Unlike so many other dealerships). He introduced me to Fred Erler to answer all my service questions. I traded my BMW 550 XI for this incredible SUV! Thank you to everyone for making this a non stressful purchase.

Of course there’re things that he cannot do, but he is good in negotiating with the sales manager and match the price. He’s extremely knowledgeable and you easily recognize he knows what he’s doing. I have bought several luxury cars in my short adulthood and never in my life have dealt with more unprofessional salesman! The guys in Frisco wouldn’t work with me on pricing so I called all over Texas and San Antonio Land Rover offered me the best price by 5k. Uh no brainer. I have 2 kids in carseats and i wanted to make sure they would fit comfortable in an evoque and test drive the evoque so i wouldn’t drive 5 hours to find out the carseats don’t fit or i don’t like the drive. Once you drive a luxury car you have a preference on the feel of the drive. (My opinion). The salesman didn’t want to show me the similar car or let me test drive it because i was «wasting his time» keep in mind its Tuesday at 11am no one was in there. Which now i understand why the place is empty. He got his «manager» and he tried to agree with his salesman. Long story short i test drove the car with «Huck» he was absolutely awesome! I would buy a car from him any day but the experience i had prior to working with him will not allow me to spend a penny of my money there. Absolutely no chance. Land Rover is a brand they should be trying to make the brand great!
I have never written a review on anything but this experience should be shared with all. Drive the extra mile to land rover Dallas or ask for Huck at this location.

Used car dealership mentality at its worst. Run to any other dealership. No morals, no service, no ethics. Love to sell you a lemon and charge endlessly to fix.

Took my RR 2011 Sport in for service, I had made an appointment to take her in a week out, but had some time to drop off the car early on a Friday. No worries if they got to it early, but hey you know sometimes they have room. Sure enough truck was turned back to me Monday, still 4 days prior to my scheduled appointment time.
Fred took care of my extended warranty filing. He also took the time to go check with the shop to make sure they had put in my requested oil, when he returned he stated they had not, which in this business honesty goes a long way. He offered to remedy the situation and we came to an agreement.
If you’ve dealt with the Dallas location you know that the Frisco location service is for some reason much better, what you would expect with a luxury dealership. Fred restored my faith in LR Service.

I brought my Range Rover in for some maintenance last month. Fred worked with over every detail of what I expected to be done and checked in with me to let me know the status often. He and his staff went out of their way to make sure I was satisfied. Their communication and determination to fulfill everything I asked of them is a great representation of what customer service should be. I would recommend this location to anyone seeking repairs or maintenance for their luxury vehicles. Talk to Fred, he will go out of his way to take care of you.

My experience at this dealership went from bad to great… to WORST EVER… and thus the single star rating and the update review.
Sometimes good things come from difficult situations, and this time was one of them!
You can follow my earlier reviews… so you the reader can see where I am coming from with this review.
I ordered a new Sport… some months later I was informed from the GM that the wrong model was ordered by him… waited another few months for the one ordered to arrive… also during wait I had put on another 5k miles… but the long story made short… the dealer did not eat the whole depreciation/​time waiting/​and then attempted to change me outrageous prices for added equip… (which I re-​confirmed were outrageous with another dealer) and we were parted by a small amount$ and they would not budge… so I did tell them where to put the new one.
On my way home I stopped by a Chevy dealer to look at the new Vettes… rode in a 2015 Tahoe to see the Vette and returned to the showroom, test drove for an hour the new Tahoe… WOW… a really great SUV… with more goodies than the Sport (less $$) and they gave me more on the Evoke trade… and the deal was done.
I have now passed 3,500mi on the Tahoe and am VERY VERY happy I did not get the Sport. If I ever want to get a RR Sport… it will definitely not be from this dealer!

Customer service is not what I expected. I came in during my lunch break to replace a broken side mirror. The process was quoted to take less than an hour and no appt was necessary. I came in after I got the call that my part was in. When I walked in this guy took the info and said it would be bout an hour. After an hour I noticed my car wasn’t even taken back yet. I went to speak with the receptionist who was very nice. She asked the man that originally helped me what the ETA on my car was and he snapped at her before answering the question. She apologized on his behalf and she directed me to someone else that was handling my car. He said it would be another 30 minutes. I was late to a meeting at work. No one cared to follow up while I was sitting there to let me know this was going to take longer than expected. For the price of their cars I expected the service level to be similar to Lexus but was less than pleased. People working there seemed to be miserable (particularly the service center). Not sure if they need a pay increase or they are in the wrong industry but will try to take my car to another location next time even though this location is close to work.

This is an update to a previous review of Land Rover Frisco. Once again I am impressed with the attention to detail, their focus on explaining the work they’ve done and their forethought identifying and recommending future maintenance to consider after so many miles have been driven. Before posting this I read a few other reviews and was astounded to find less positive ratings and swear words. You have to question the veracity of people who find the need to use that language. My experience over the many years I’ve had work done at LRF has always been at the highest standards. Totally recommend Frisco and especially the entire service department.

The Frisco, Dallas and Austin stores are all in the same Auto Group but my experience at the Frisco vs. the Dallas store was polar opposite. I sat forever on the service drive at the Frisco store waiting for help as I watched several people look at me and ignor that I was there. I went in to the store where one very busy advisor said he would help me when he was done helping his current customer… that took like 10 minutes. NOT ACCEPTABLE for a service department that had other advisors that could have pitched in to help.
Finally, when I was helped, it was below my expectations of a luxury vehicle franchise. I know the business well as I worked for an Auto Mfg for 8 years and spent many of those years training advisors to NOT do what I experienced at the Frisco store. I hope the Service or General Manager reads this review and does something to give Frisco customers a better experience than mine.
All in all, the company got a few of my dollars that I spent at the Dallas store (5 star service). I went in for a mirror replacement $ 150 and left with a mirror and some upgrades spending almost $ 1000. Jason at Dallas knows his shit and thats how a dealership makes money!

$ 425 for my 15K scheduled maintanence on a LR2 and their sister dealership in Dallas is $ 400. But other LR dealership not related to them is about 40% cheaper. I asked for a response to why such a high price difference. LR Frisco refused to respond, but before this question was asked, they were so courteous and responsive to try to get me in to service my vehicle. To other LR owner, just be a wise shopper.
