This is the second time I’ve been here. First visit I ordered the beef noodle soup. It was very bland and didn’t taste good at all. By the way the steam pork bun is sweet. I had to get the Manager myself, but they did fix the problem. Would I come back? Probably not.

YUMMIIIIIIest Boba tea around! I was fairly recently introduced to these tasty teas but I’ve had the chance to try them at different places. This one’s without the best! Not only is the tea GREAT — regardless of the flavour you choose — but their prices and the staff is soooo friendly and service minded. I luuuuv the lychee peach flavour with popping lychee — gosh it’s good!!!

I hate to write a bad review but I think I got food poisoning from this restaurant, was sick for 2 days. I had the potstickers, dim sum, and chicken with rice and vegetables. I love potstickers but after this experience I won’t be back.

Food was good but i expected more since the name is, Potstickers. My husband and i love potsickers and couldnt wait to try it out but unfortunately, we weren’t to impressed. Our first visit was 3 stars because they only had one server and a lot of people starting walking in which had her running everywhere and she just dropped our food on our table when it wasnt even hot anymore and we didn’t even get to order our tea at the table. I just went up to the cash register and ordered it there. Honestly, i would’ve liked it more if it was more of a walk in type of place, where we order and pay at the same time and service ourselves. Service is 2 – 10 Food is 7 – 10

I came by this place for lunch after discovering it on Unilocal. As the reviews were decent, I was willing to give it a try. I ordered a small order of steamed potstickers as well as spicy beef dry noodle and a milk tea to wash it down. Everything was delicious, the noodles were excellent with a good amount of flavor and crunch to the rice noodles. The beef was moist and well-cooked. The potstickers were good as well, but a bit of a let down after all the recommendations on here, I will probably tried the fried ones next time. The milk tea was my first time trying boba, which was a great experience. The only reason I had to take a star away was because the prices are too high. For a decent sized lunch dish with a drink and a side dish, I payed 20 bucks(after my tip). That is too much in my opinion, I could easily see two or three people spending 40 – 60 bucks here for a regular lunch. Which considering this is a fast-casual café setting, is most definitely too high. I will likely only come back for the tea or the lunch special. It really is a shame, because the food was very tasty, but I don’t expect to pay«sit-down» dinner prices for food at this type of place.

We come here a lot. We really like the potstickers — they include a generous amount of meat and the dough is delicate but doesn’t fall apart. My husband prefers the fried pork potstickers. I prefer the steamed chicken. However, all the combinations are tasty. Don’t forget to ask for the chili sauce if you order to go. The boba tea has been hit or miss, but good enough to keep ordering. I recently had the lunch special that comes with 4 potstickers, a soup, and a boba tea. The wonton soup is amazing! I would order the lunch special any time of day if it was available. The steamed buns used to be a favorite with the kids, but something in the recipe recently changed and they don’t care for them anymore.

I like rice noodles but today at this place is definitely a bad experience. I ordered pepper meat noodle soup. The noodles were not fully cooked the first time they served, so I asked the waitress to take back and reheat, actually it usually ruins the flavor when u reheat. Still not right, it tastes hard and crispy, definitely not the rice noodles I used to have. Then I asked them to cook me a new one. The waitress misunderstood and reheat again. Two stars because they didn’t charge me in the end.

The food here is really good but it is kinda pricey for what you receive. We ordered the spicy beef noodle soup which was very spicy and delicious although it only had a few pieces of beef. Same goes for the chicken rice plate. Huge scoop of white rice, some veggies but only about a 1⁄3 of a chicken breast maybe. They have a nice assortment of drinks as well. I loved the almond milk tea with boba! The potstickers(steamed) were very tasty and HUGE, but at over a dollar a piece I’m not sure they’re worth it. The staff was very nice and attentive as well. Overall a nice meal just not sure if it was worth the $ 60 price tag.

I tried to give this restaurant the benefit of the doubt, I was feeling uneasy with all of the varied reviews but I like new things(often too much) so why not give it a try? I will preface the review by saying I haven’t always been a fan of Taiwanese food and this leans toward that style. Overall the restaurant is very clean and kept well. The servers are greeted us happily and promptly came to take drink orders. So the experience was fine, but where it fell short was the food. which rules above all, especially in an Asian restaurant. I ordered their«famous» potstickers, small order of 4 for $ 4.99(pricy but when it’s in the name you have to order). Got pork instead of chicken, asked to have both but wasn’t able, not a big deal. Also got the spicy beef dry noodle and a green tea milk tea with pearls. Side note, I asked for boba and they didn’t understand until I said pearls lol. The drink came out fast but I wish they would’ve taken more time to make it because it was way watered down. I could maybe make out some green tea flavor but not really, mostly watery. The boba(pearls or whatever you like) left me sad as well. They were hard and somewhat crumbly, aka undercooked. Milk tea was a dud. Perhaps their namesake, the potstickers, would deliver. They weren’t bad! I opted for the fried ones so the skin was crisp, flavor not mind blowing though. For over a dollar each I expected more. They were stuffed to be pretty big though. I’d eat it again but I wouldn’t pay for it again. Also there was a bit of oil build up on the plate under the food, more of an observation than a complaint. Potstickers– average. Another favorite– the spicy beef dry noodle. Opted for the flour noodle instead of rice, just personal preference. Their noodles look like spaghetti noodles, not a bad thing but not what I expected. At first bite I was pleased, packed a good amount of spice. After a while of eating it, though, I thought the flavor lacking. It didn’t leave me wanting to take another bite. It was decent but just didn’t stand out. Also the meat was a bit chewy. I don’t regret eating it but I also wouldn’t order it again. Spicy beef dry noodle– good spice not much else. I left this dining experience just feeling okay. Not anything standout that would beckon me back. I did find it amusing that the«napkins» on the table were the kind of rough paper towels you get in a bathroom. Then when I went to the bathroom there was just the napkin dispenser on a chair with the same paper towels lol. Last thought, I felt like I missed out on some of the experience because the woman who seemed like the owner/manager did not come talk to my table. She conversed quite a bit with the larger party in front and she seemed welcoming and a great host but I was not afforded that opportunity. It wasn’t that they were busy but perhaps this restaurant is here to cater less to the ethnic group where the food is from and more to the majority culture if you know what I mean. All in all, wouldn’t recommend unless you really have a hankering for potstickers and you can’t get out of Frisco.

The pork potstickers and wontons are very good. Chicken potstickers are OK. The broth for the soups is too oily and not very flavorful. Bubble tea is very good. Service is excellent and everyone is very friendly and polite.

Let us start by mentioning we have been frequent customers since their original location on Preston and Rolator and enjoyed the food and the conversations with the owner. However, something was different during this visit. Service was quick as usual — we received our drink order right away and the rest of our order within ten minutes. That’s where the similarity between prior visits ended. The fried dumplings we received this time were, for lack of a better term, rock solid. The skin was so hard that we had difficulty eating each potsticker, which was due to the order being overly fried to the point that this may not be the first time the potstickers were fried. This, however, was not our main dissatisfaction. Our check came within seconds — not even a full minute of receiving the rest of our order. My husband was chewing his first bite of the potstickers when it came, with two fortune cookies on top. At first we thought it this was their usual policy but we found ourselves the only table with the check, even with tables that have arrived before we did and were in the middle of their meals. I’ve personally started my career in the restaurant industry and only in very busy times would waiters give checks to customers as soon as their meals finished. Never have I been subject to interruption by the arrival of the check during my first bite, and be the only table to experience that. Needless to say I will not be back and I hope this is not the typical service for other patrons. We hope our experience today does not serve as a testament to their usual service. Two stars instead of one since we did enjoy the rest of our meals and we’ve had great experiences in the past.

The young one ordered chicken lowmein. The chicken came and it was overcooked, leathery thin, very white chicken –boiled or microwaved chicken… worse than panda express or walmart frozen. Usually, we are very satisfied with the food and service here. Between the fiancé and I we’ve probably been here 30 times. Never an issue. The owner is direct, but never rude. I’ve heard some people complain about her, but she’s always been tolerable to us. We asked to switch it out for the beef, and they said they will do it, but we have to pay half price for the chicken… really? For something I wouldn’t feed to my dog? I wouldn’t even serve it to your cat.(Of course I didn’t say that to them). The owner wasn’t there, and they said they are just quoting policy, because they would lose money if they replace. So, as they’ve gone back and were figuring out what to do, the owner walks in… whom we’ve talked to many times… Cool,(I say to myself), she knows us, and that we come here alot, she’ll take care of it. But no. She proceeds to tell us this chicken is white meat, and that’s the way it’s always served, and they have never had a problem… really? REALLY? instead of saying sorry you weren’t satisfied, how can we make it better… she says«that’s the way it is, and you don’t have to eat here next time».literally those words came out of her mouth. Really. Your wish is my command. I’ve recommended this place to others… that will cease. The fiancé has brought many friends here… that will cease. As a matter of fact we will openly let people know that this is a place to be avoided, because you will be penalized if you get a bad dish. Unless every other dumpling place has caught fire, we wont be back. Everyone makes something bad once in a while, or has a bad dish, but to react this way??? I’m really stunned. That’s the way to take The«Customer» out of. «Service». I guess my arteries will get a break from the greasy dumplings. BOO. And…after all that, she said she would replace with beef lowmein. 30 minutes later, nothing. She says… oh, sorry I thought you just wanted to cancel… bad ending to an even worse experience.

Not sure why there are raving reviews on the boba tea. Fat Straws is way better and has better prices. I paid $ 4.33 for a small green tea slushy with boba which is close to what I pay for the exact same drink but a large one at Fat Straws. The bubbles here are too hard and they don’t have any sugar substitutes. My drink did taste good, but I wish the bubbles had been softer. The staff was very friendly and this place has a great atmosphere. Maybe I’ll try the food sometime.

I was hopeful to find a new spot in Frisco with some veggie options, but unfortunately this one did not work out at all! The staff was very nice and the Boba drinks were good, but the food was not worth purchasing. I was looking forward to some potstickers but they said they no longer have a veggie option, so we ordered the veggie steamed buns. After ordering we were told they were out of veggie steamed buns as well, so we ordered a veggie stir fry and Angel Tofu. The veggie stir fry was only steamed lettuce with a few carrots and Broccoli, though we did like the sauce, it is not adequate for a meal. The angel Tofu menu was a chopped block of Tofu with Soy sauce and onions. Very true to the exact menu description but I was hoping it would have been a little more complex, or have a marinade or Sauce. I could make a chopped block of Tofu with some onions at home in a minute!(the menu also said there would be Almonds but there was not any on the dish). All in all, we paid about $ 23 including drinks for an iceberg lettuce head and Tofu block, but sometimes you can’t even get those two things in a Frisco restaurant so they still get a star :)

We came here as a family of 4 at around 1PM. The place was pretty packed, with about 7 of its 12 tables occupied. The atmosphere was nice, the AC worked, and the tables were clean. We seated ourselves, and were greeted by the waiter pretty quickly. The water was pretty good. It had ice. Moving on to the food itself: We pretty much all ordered the same thing, the stir-fry beef noodle dish. The noodles were pretty savory, and the sprinkles of pepper added just the right amount of zing to the food. The beef, which was few in number, was slightly too salted. The flavor was overwhelming and took away from the experience. Once the beef and my tongue hugged, I found myself eyeing the water, taking hold of the straw as soon as the beef went down my throat. The price for the dish was around $ 10, a bit expensive in my opinion for some noodles and a less than overwhelming amount of beef. We ordered 12 steamed potstickers; turns out they were $ 12.99, a bit pricey in my opinion as well. Though each potsticker had a big ball of meat, the potsticker itself was not quite satisfying. The moment it was bitten in to, the entire thing simply fell apart. The potsticker effectively turned into a meatball and potsticker skin after the first bite. With the quality and flavor of the food, as well as the price taken into account, I would say Potstickers deserves a 3.5÷5. Not bad.

All these mixed reviews made me really skeptical but as I was sitting there waiting for my food to arrive, I saw more and more Chinese people walk in and I was relieved. The food is pretty good and their bubble tea is more like the traditional type you would get at Taiwan Café in Richardson! Very excited to have this option in Frisco, I thought my only option of good Chinese food in this town would be Panda Express or MSG-delivery. I got the popular items– fried potstickers and spicy beef noodle soup also added fried onion pancake and spicy pig ears. The fried onion pancake was a no go. I wouldn’t get it again– it just didn’t have the flakiness it was supposed to have. They offer lunch specials which is a noodle soup + potstickers for 6.99! Very English friendly here for those who are worried. Oh, BYOB.

3.5 stars but i need to come back and try something different. Got the fried potstickers and was disappointed they dont fry them the authentic chinese way. They are only supposed to be fried on the bottom and the top sides are steamed in the pan. Instead they deep fried the entire potsticker and its greasy. Bleh not what i expected. Then i ordered a kid’s noodle for my toddler. Also not what i expected! I was thinking it was going to be lo mein. Instead it was soup noodles! The flavor was good but its so much harder feeding a kid soup noodles instead of dry lo mein. Next time need to try the beef noodle soup and order potstickers steamed and not fried! Otherwise their service is friendly and they have boba — who doesnt like slushies and teas?

Quickly becoming one of our favs for Chinese food! If you like clean, healthy and flavor, this is your place. You have to try the steamed pork buns-amazing. Beware however when items say“spicy,” they mean it. They also have a big variety of the Boba teas. Most of the time, the customers are usually all Asian, which is a good sign for those looking for a more authentic taste versus a «buffet.»

I’m still a fan of this place! The food, as stated before is really really tasty. The entrees that me and a friend got recently was the ground pork noodles and the pepper pork noodle soup. They were both flavorful with lots of meat! They also come with a head of bokchoy. What I didn’t like were our appetizers: the green onion pancake and the pork buns. The green onion pancake wasn’t a flaky kind, it was more of an american pancake kind. It was very thick and came drizzled with some sauce on the top. The pork buns were not flavorful enough for me, but that might be a personal issue. The past few times that I’ve come here, the drinks have tasted watered down and unpleasant. I got the iced green tea and it felt and tasted watery, with just a hint of green tea. The milk tea was stronger than the green tea, but still watery. Also, the water they give you here is tap water – so be prepared for that metallic frisco tapwater taste.

First of all, two stars are extremely generous. The establishment is Seat Yourself. 3pm, it wasnt busy, yet each table we tried to sit at was filthy. None of the tables were cleaned. Potstickers & Boba pride themselves in potstickers & boba. I assume. But at the end, we were too scared to even try the boba tea. which is hard to mess up. Fortunately, my sister and I decided to share a dish. The spicy beef dry noodles… which was basically rice noodles straight out of the strainer, a chunk of salty, fatty beef, & two steamed leaves of bok choy. You know that container of red hot chili oil on all the tables? That was the sauce this dish was drowned in. Each bite was a mouthful of oily residue. No spices. No garlic. No MSG. Nothing. Just bland. Now, maybe we ordered the wrong dish, but the way they effed up a simple noodle dish is inexcusable. We’re big advocates of leftovers and not wasting food… but we didn’t even pack up 75% of the dish we had left over. Basically, I paid $ 15 for a tummy ache. P. S. don’t get the water because frisco’s tap water tastes like metal. Oh, did I forget to mention the potstickers? I did that on purpose.

I’m not sure why this place is getting one $… I spent $ 19 on lunch here… albeit I ordered the spicy beef noodle soup and the large pork potstickers(to share with my friend). Ok, the pork potstickers are HUGEANDDELICIOUS. Very meaty. I would definitely order this again. MMMM. 5⁄5. I would stay away from the Spicy Beef Noodle Soup though. It was literally a huge bowl of chili oil. nothing much to it except that it was really oily and the meat was really hard to chew when I had it. 1⁄5. Waste of money and you’re drinking oil. Bottom line: Yeah, just stay away from the soups and get the pot stickers. They’re pretty good.

OOOOHMAN, jackpot. Although I’ve been wanting to try this place ever since I moved to Frisco, I always ended up passing it up for one reason or another. When I finally got here, I was amazed by how good the pan-fried potstickers were. I can cook up pretty decent potstickers myself(thanks to my limited food supply in college), but the ones here are out of this world. The duck soup was spicy and good but I probably wouldn’t order it again. Next time? I’m getting a huge order of potstickers and another almond milk tea with boba!

First off, let’s remember that the name of this place is «Potstickers and Boba Tea.» The service was a little off today. We ordered pretty quickly and the food started coming out fairly quickly but it wasn’t right. He served up our dumplings to our friends. No big deal, we thought, we took them and waited for him to bring their dumplings, only they didn’t come for another 10 minutes. Our other friends also didn’t get their dumplings until later. The food itself was alright. The«potstickers» were good, but they’re *not* pan-fried. I don’t care what the staff says, you can’t call them pan-fried if they’re submerged in oil. That is deep-frying. It’s not the utensil that they’re cooked in, it’s the amount of oil you use. Even the picture on the front window shows a pan-fried dumpling. They’re called potstickers because the majority of the time they’re being cooked, they stick to the pot. We got half and half pan-fried dumplings and the chicken and pork dumplings were difficult to determine which were which. The taste was basically the same. The color of the meat was the only thing that gave you the slightest hint. I got the seafood fried rice which means just shrimp fried rice. The waiter, which I think is the owner’s son, said there was some kind of crab in there too, but there was no hint of anything other than shrimp. It was fine as a fried rice. Nothing remarkable. The wife got the seaweed salad and it was a little more sour than I would have liked it, however, I’m not a big fan of vinegar so you’ll need to take this with a grain of salt. I wouldn’t have been as disappointed had they just come out and said, «Our dumplings are actually deep fried.» instead of a calling them pan-fried. Instead, the owner said, «No, they’re pan fried, we don’t have a deep fryer.» *sigh* I’d say I’d give this place half a Bruce star: Better than fast food.
