Aire Serv of Bull Run

Wow. Furnace repair is not on the top of the list when it comes to things to spend money on, but at least Aire Serv of Bull Run made it a painless transaction. Our furnace was acting sluggish… wasn’t quite keeping up with the temperature we wanted in the house. With the big snowstorm rolling in this weekend (supposedly!), I didn’t want to take the chance that we’d be huddling around a space heater. I called Aire Serv and they were able to send someone out within hours. We started with a «tune-​up» (which identified the dirty sensor that was causing the sluggishness) and the tech offered to replace another part that was «borderline» if we wanted him to. We decided to take care of it on the spot since he had the furnace apart, but there was no pressure for us to do so. I also asked him about regular «tune-​ups» to keep things from getting sluggish and he explained clearly my options for Aire Serv’s Advantage Plans. Again… no pressure. I was the one who asked (and wanted) this service on a more preventative basis. GREAT transaction. Robbie, our tech, was knowledgeable and polite. I hope we get him again in the future. It feels good to now be on a regular, preventative maintenance plan.

I don’t take the time to write a lot of reviews but felt it was absolutely necessary for this company. I called Aire Serv at 8:30 last night because our AC system was blowing warm air. The oncall tech called me that night (THAT NIGHT!) and told me he could come out if I needed him to. I told him that next day would be fine. Alex came out this afternoon to look at our system. It did cost us a pretty penny but he was able to breath life into our 20 year old system and delay the need to spend thousands on a brand new unit. At about 8PM today, our system stopped working again. I called the main line for Aire Serv and again, Alex called me back in about 20 minutes! He came back out tonight and replaced another aging part that was causing the problem. He didn’t charge me anything since everything he did earlier today was under warranty. This was seriously some great service!

Aire Serve came out on a Saturday to get my furnace running after we returned from an out of town trip an found the house cold. They got me up and running but with a 20 YO furnace and hot water heater I thought it was a good time to get an overhaul. They came in and did both jobs within 2 days. They were fast, competent and fairly priced. Neil, Shane and Andy did the work. Tim is the sales guy. He was responsive and easy to work with.

Chad came within the 2 hour period set up. He was very polite. Answered my questions and gave his professional recommendations. What more could you ask for?!

Chuck called me early in my «window» and was there promptly. He explained what he did and gave recommendations on how to save money and help our units last longer. Very thorough and courteous.

We were having issues with our AC unit and called Aire Serv. I have to say, I was rather impressed. Very professional and polite. They did not try to sell us services that we did not need. Literally the tech pointed out something that could have cost hundreds if serviced… but that we could fix for about $ 5 ourselves. (thank you!)
When the technician showed up, I was on a conference call and also watching my 5 day old newborn, but he was not bothered by my lack of focus on his appointment. I just pointed him to where the units were and he was able to check everything. He was absolutely courteous when he had to get my attention to ask a question, completely aware of the sleeping baby and me being on a call.
One note: they sent an email with the picture of the person who would be showing up for the service appointment. This is an EXCELLENT practice, at least in theory. In our case, the gentleman in the emailed photo was not the same person who showed up for the service. I highly suggest to the company that they alert the customer of such changes.

I called Aire Serv this morning desperate after finding a puddle surrounding my air conditioner in the middle of the night. They were my third call to AC Companies in the area. Not only were they EXTREMELY helpful but they were able to send a technician out the same day. The technician, Ryan, could not have been more helpful and professional. The leak was from a filter that had not been replaced soon enough. Ryan located the problem and fixed it quickly and CHEAPLY. My house was 87 degrees and we were miserable. I would give this company 10 stars if I could!!! Family owned and operated, very professional and helpful A++++!!!
