DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR MONEY!!! Protect yourself; do not entrust your money or the precious memories of your wedding day to Jodi and Reggie Washington. My husband and I just won a lawsuit against these people because we never received anything we paid for.
As requested, we paid for the services prior to our May 2015 wedding and from that day forward we had big problems. Non-​responsiveness, lying and excuses upon excuses were only some of the issues we experienced. On my wedding day, Jodi was hardly seen. I didn’t think much of this until 8 weeks after when we were supposed to receive our $ 2,300, 90 minute wedding film. Regarding the delay, we heard everything from «we’re moving», «we’re traveling», «at a doctor’s appointment», to «hospital visits» (twice). Finally after 18 WEEKS, we received a manila envelope in the mail with 1 cracked, plastic case and a CD I could have purchased at Wal-​Mart, not customized. The video contents of the CD were simply horrific: my name was spelled wrong in the intro, no sound during my ceremony, black footage and no «interviews» from friends/​family as promised. It was 11 minutes and 58 seconds of pure crap.
Appalled, I immediately emailed Jodi/​Reggie and demanded a full refund. Jodi replied and confessed that she knew I would feel this way and agreed to refund us in full. At this point I was hurt because I knew I would never have a video of my wedding day memories to look back on but somewhat at ease knowing we would be given our money back. YEAH RIGHT! After sending numerous emails following up on the refund, Reggie emailed me and stated a full refund was not an option because they «showed up». First of all, Jodi/​Reggie are supposed to be a team and Reggie never «showed up» at all. Jodi had apparently brought another guy (whom I did not know) to replace Reggie. This poor guy (who later contacted us regarding the lack of professionalism and talent of Reggie/​Jodi) became their excuse for the terrible and missing footage.
After threatening legal action, they finally agreed, once again, to refund us in full. However, Jodi/​Reggie stated that they did not have the financial means to pay us back all at once. We eventually agreed to a payment plan and drafted yet another contract outlining dates/​terms, which Jodi signed. Knowing how these people do business, I sent a reminder a week before the first payment was due. A week after the due date was missed, I called, emailed and texted Jodi/​Reggie to tell them we were suing. Reggie continued to tell me that they had mailed a money order and that it was on the way. Unless someone came and took it out of my mailbox, they never sent crap.
We did move forward with suing, for all of what we paid them and for all of my time wasted dealing with these crooks. The judge was kind, apologetic for our experience and ruled in our favor within 5 minutes of hearing my testimony and reviewing my evidence. Though we feel consoled knowing justice will be served, we want to caution others of this «company». Do not put yourself through what we went through; just don’t take the gamble and hire someone else.

Jodi and Reggie were great! I tend to want to be in control but I’m not the expert and they really know how to take control of the situation and give great direction! They were fun and upbeat which gives off a great vibe! Hard workers and dedicated-​their work shows that!

I purchased a Groupon for Double You photography in 2012. We scheduled our sons 6 month pics with Jodi for Nov. The evening before the appointment I emailed Jodi to confirm and she responded stating I needed to check my email because they sent a cancellation notice earlier in the week (this notice never go to me…). I was cordial in my communications and requested to reschedule. They couldn’t fit us in for several more weeks and since we were doing this for our sons 6 month photos we didn’t want to wait. We booked Sears (good pictures, not great, but great value) and rescheduled with Double You for our sons 1 year pictures. Once May rolled around I emailed Jodi again to confirm the 1 year photo shoot and never got a response. I am blown away by the lack of professionalism and common courtesy and would warn anyone thinking of using this company that just because you prepaid and have an appointment with Jodi doesn’t mean squat to Double You Photography.

You will love working with these guys! Very professional, yet so gracious that you will feel totally at ease. Jodi and Reggie are both amazing photographers, and take your photos simultaneously — great idea!
