Established in 1959.

A-​1 Self Storage is the self storage division of the Caster Group, a third generation family owned company headquartered in San Diego, California serving you since 1959. The Caster Group specializes in acquisitions, development, and management of A-​1 Self Storage, and other commercial properties in California and Texas. Our real estate portfolio includes over 4.8 million square feet in real estate properties, including over 48 self storage locations. Our plans to open more locations in the future will make us one of California’s fastest growing self storage companies.

Dania N.

Manager

Dania has been employed with Caster Properties, Inc. for 9 years. She is the facility manager for our Fullerton location, providing great customer service to all existing and potential customers. Dania is fluent in English and Spanish which allows her to help with the Hispanic community. All her knowledge and loyalty with the storage industry has led her to become an excellent training manager.

This was a smooth and professional transaction. I reserved a unit on line after checking out the competition. Walked in the next day and was greeted by three nice/​helpful ladies and I was signed up and ready to load my unit in 10 minutes! The 50% off first month was a bonus.

I’ve stored my stuff many times over the 8 years of first being married, and the customer service here CANNOT be beat! They worked with me in downsizing my mother, helped open additional storage and let me use a loaner key over the weekend. It made the process of downsizing SO MUCH EASIER! They don’t fret over the small things and kept their word on everything! I even set off an alarm one evening, and they came and checked to make sure it was a false alarm and helped me secure the unit, and didn’t make me feel odd about the mistake. This place is phenomenal.

We bought boxes here for our move. They smelled like vomit. We couldn’t tell until we got home. We threw them away it was so bad! Just wanted to warn people to please make sure that the boxes you get do not smell as bad as the ones we got!

Signs said it was open, the doors were locked, and no one answered the phone (even when using the courtesy phone next to the front door) during normal office hours, 2PM on Tuesday, May 26, 2015. Perhaps the employee was away at a storage unit.

I love A-​1 storage! The staff are always so friendly and helpful, i have been with them for so many years and i highly recommend them to all my friends and family.
None the less the security they have here is top notch and always lets us know if something happened.
The rent and payment options are amazing and you can either pay online or on the phone! Wonderful place and awesome experience.

I needed a place to store a bunch of crap, mostly cause my family are ratpacks (soooo annoying)…
Got a smaller unit, 10×5 or some crap and it runs for $ 80 or so…
There isn’t much else to say! the place is often clean, organized and filled with good staff. The staff does their best to stay out of your way, but appear available without feeling lost or abandoned. The facility is decent size & the current construction on C-​Wealth is a pain in the ass, but for the most part, this storage facility is easily accessible for those who choose to utilize the service.
As for crime, the fence is obvious and these follks do their best to deter shady behavior. The layout is like on big square and you can sorta tell if someone doesn’t belong. I mean… How many of you folks, even when drunk, don’t know where your apartment is???
I hope this helps. Good luck with the storage issues. We all know how much a pain in the ass storage places are, but the staff makes the whole situation as pleasant as possible. They understand people need storage and don’t around with some schmuck attitude.

Completely forgot about this place…
A few years ago when i closed my warehouse down, i needed some space and since this is close to my domain, i chose them and didn’t regret it.
Here are some key points why to choose this storage than others. I hope to give favorable insights since I come from a business standpoint rather than personal items storage…
1. The ceiling appears higher giving more room to stack (at least with a 20×10 footer).
2. The gates are 35% higher than other places along with the feel of tighter security.
3. The area is safer.
4. The driving radius is a bit wider. I had to utilize a truck and trailer to move my molds around so this helps a lot~!
5. It’s a square meaning you don’t have to do austin powers here.
6. Staff is accommodating and pleasant.
7. Prices were reasonable. Back in 2011, the 20×10 footer was appx $ 200/​month.
When I needed a smaller space, they were accommodating as humanely possible even though i didn’t need to swap.
I encourage others to check this place out if it’s convenient enough location for you. I’m positive, they will provide the best service they can without the feeling of being rushed or the GTFO attitude.
