we have a 1950’s ranch house. needed a cooling system and really I like the ones I’d always seen in other countries… Albert air had the duct-​less mini systems I was looking for. Answered my emails promptly, came gave us a bid and rec, on the system to get… Had it installed a few days later… Really enjoying this product and can highly rec. this company.

Excellent customer service, workmanship, and oversight on big jobs. Scheduled maintenance and emergency visits always end on a positive note! They do not work weekends but on two weekend AC failures, they showed up early Monday to diagnose and repair AC! Nick Albert is a champ.

Our 30 + yr old furnace and AC system needed replacement last Summer. We had 7 (yes, SEVEN!) AC companies come out for estimates and was so confused with their recommendations! Half said we should move the units up in the attic for efficiency while others insist on leaving everything downstairs where things were. There was something about each proposal or representative that we were not comfortable with, until Nick Albert came…
Our 2 story home used to be significantly hotter upstairs in the Summer with the AC on. We even had to have fans blowing in our bedrooms during the night. We took Nick’s great advise to move everything up in the attic. They also replaced our air ducts and vents; added returns and even cut out a new attic access in the hallway (the original one is in our bedroom closet)…It was a big 4 day project but the 2 men crew was very well trained and professional; you can tell they have been doing this for a long time…
For the first time in our 19 years of living in this house, we can have ARCTIC COLD air upstairs in the Summer! To our delight, we have also gained a nice new pantry in our kitchen as we converted the old furnace closet over. We suspect that others who recommended to leave the AC and furnace downstairs probably did not have the crew or skill to do the more challenging attic installation. We are so glad that we chose Albert Air to be our home heating/​cooling solution! They did a magnificent job plus they are an authorized dealer/​installer for world renowned Carrier… We are very meticulous people and we are impressed !

When John comes over twice a year I know that any heating and air conditioning situations are taken care of. Because I subscribe to the service I get assistance between visits I know I can count on.
John is very friendly, patient, answers my questions, gives me recommendations for other types of services I may require around the house.
If there were any more stars I could give Albert Air I would.

I just wanted to say thank you to Albert Air for their outstanding work. It is very rare in today’s business climate that you receive what your promised. From start to finish these guys are top notch. Nick Albert came to my home and assessed my air and heating needs. I had a 47 year old furnace and a 23 year old air conditioner. Nick went through several options with me on a budget I could afford. No high pressure sales no must do it right away. Just honest informative information for me to make a reasonable choice. He was always reachable to answer any questions. After making my decision to have them install my new heating and air unit I couldn’t be happier. His team was on time professional and really paid attention to detail. they respected my home and left everything neat and tidy. I look forward to having you service my unit in the future. Called another company to replace blower motor for American Standard heating unit on 12÷28÷15 and repair was completed in less then 24 hours.

Highly recommended! I had a totally positive experience with Albert’s Air in the purchase and installation of a home heating and air conditioning system. Jeff Albert came to my home and gave me excellent information about equipment options, with no sales pressure. Then he followed up promptly with a very reasonable estimate. His crew of two installers were totally professional in their work and demeanor: they were skilled, efficient, thorough, and informative, as well as respectful, considerate, and friendly. It was clear that they took pride in their work and conveyed a lot of useful information to me. Both the heating and air conditioning systems work great, and the very fair total cost matched the estimate exactly. Albert Air is based in Fullerton, CA, but they install systems throughout Southern California. They traveled the 35 miles to my home with no problem, showing up on time for all three appointments. In my experience, doing business with Albert’s Air was as good as it gets.

Our new air conditioning experience has been great with this heat wave we’re in. My most recent bill was only $ 40 over last year where we had a wall unit in ONE room. That’s pretty darn efficient considering the temperatures this year are averaging higher than last year. Consider Albert Air… you won’t be disappointed.

Albert Air installed my parents’ AC unit/​air ducts two months ago. They did a wonderful job. My parents are very happy with it, as well as all the grandchildren who come for a visit every weekend. :) Nick and his team are very professional, and the quality of their work is excellent. They’ve been in business for 20 – 30 years or more, so absolutely have a reputation to uphold/​protect. When Nick first came out, he thoroughly explained everything to us in layman’s terms so we understood the entire process and all of our options. He’s very honest and upfront. And to top it all, the price turned out to be much cheaper than several other contractors who quoted my parents. My parents and the entire family highly recommend them to everyone.

We decided to go with the top of the line, 21 seer variable speed Carrier which was not originally suggested by Albert’s Air (not sure why). And this was back in 2009. The process was straight forward. They honored the $ 300 clunker deal and installation was done in one day. However, I don’t think the installer did his best. He left a big mess in the attic with unused tubing material but took the filter with him which I told him to leave it in the attic since we already had the permanent filter. I don’t have use for it anyway. Within the first few months, I had to call them back 2 – 3 times due to the «service required» message on the thermostat (using the heater). It was painless to get them out and John was so easy to talk to and very honest in telling us what’s going on. It was finally diagnosed: The thermostat was not programmed correctly during the installation (not the schedule programming by the owner, but at the unit). May be this was why they didn’t recommended this model at the beginning? When the following cold season started, after a few weeks of using the air, the system stopped producing cold air. John came out again and found a bad weld job.
It was fixed and all good until Sep of this year, during the heatwave. The system struggled to maintain at 79, running full speed all day (our utility bill was almost $ 500). I went up to the attic just to inspect if there was any obvious leak. While I didn’t see any leak, I saw the pvc pipe was almost broken off from unit from it’s own weight. It had nothing to do with the low cool air but it confirmed the bad installation. John came and found Puron was low but couldn’t find any leak, except for the loose cap at the return valve. He refilled and tightened the cap with sealant. Now, granted it’s been 4 yrs but since this system is for the bottom floor, we never had to use the AC too much until this heatwave. I can’t help but think it’s possible related to a bad installation job. We’ll see how the puron hold up. From reading the other review about how Puron kept getting low every other year, I am a little concerned.
Beside the bad installation, I feel comfortable with Albert’s Air service, how they handled the calls and John’s professionalism and honesty. He’s always on time and would call if late). It made me feel paying for the service a little easier. I will continue to call them if this problem with the low Puron returns.

We had this company install a new heating and air conditioning unit which eventually fell apart. I contacted Albert Air to send an installer to determine the cause of the break down. The installer they send told us there was a leak but he couldn’t determine the location of the leak. He said he could try to fix it gave us a quote but said it was not guaranteed since he was unable to locate the actual location of the leak. I contacted the Owner Jeff, left him several messages and finally spoke to him. I explained the situation he said he would have someone contact us to make another appointment for a new installer to come do an analysis. We never heard back from anyone. I went to their actual location with my father to discuss the case in person with the owner. He wasn’ t in we left a message for the owner to contact us. To warp things up, they finally send a new installer to look at the unit. This time the installer was very professional and was able to locate the actual cause of the leak, he said it was from the coil and the coil needs to be replaced. Originally the owner had told us it would cost $ 600 to repair the unit but after they discovered the coil needs to be replaced, the cost just escalated to over a thousand dollars. We originally paid close to $ 7,000 for this unit that apparently came with a 5 year warranty on parts, 10 year on compressor parts, 20 year on heat exchanger etc. I finally contacted Carrier myself and explained the situation. They said they need the actual diagnosis to find out why the coil needs to be replaced. I emailed the owner to explain the situation and I’m waiting to hear back. As of now I give this company a –1 since they haven’t been able to solve the problem. I’ve spent hours going back and forth, it shouldn’t be that complicated. The only positive thing I could say about this company is they have a very nice competent secretary, that’s about it! I will keep everyone posted as to the outcome.

We had our Central Air and Heating installed about 10 years ago. With that said, we had to get our «Puron» (coolant) replenished every year. When we finally went to someone else, we found out that they had a huge leak on one of the pipes from the Puron. We were told that we shouldn’t have ever needed Puron replenished, ever. So we contacted Albert Air for them to fix the problem and they were unable to do so (they came out 4 times) and told us that the leak is so slow that we would have to continue to have Puron pumped into our unit as we needed.
They sent smoking, gross people to fix our issues and they couldn’t fix the job they were sent to do!
4^th company we went with actually fixed the leak and we have never needed to replenish the Puron — it took us 6 years to get it repaired! Now, if it was installed correctly, we would never have needed it.
The other issue with them was that they came to install during Christmas Week — and we were told that they would be done in 3 days — before Christmas Eve. They couldn’t finish the job and had to come back after New Years — they were done with a 3-​day install in 2.5 weeks. AFTER they promised that they wouldn’t do just that.
We went with another company when we added another unit after our remodel and we are quite happy with their install. We had them service our previous 5 ton unit with our new 3.5 ton unit.

I decided to give this company a try after reading the positive reviews on Unilocal.I cannot express how happy I am with the work that they did installing my new central air conditioning system.
Nick came out to give me an estimate and was very professional. He explained everything from condensers to the duct work needed. He gave me an estimate within a few days of the original meeting. I set up to have the work done as soon as they were available.
His workers were amazing as well. They really know their stuff. They took care to update me on the work as they were doing it. They educated me on using the new system. They even added an extra vent to my bedroom because that is the hottest room in the house. Once they were done, they cleaned up very well.
The city had to come out to do an inspection of the system for the permit. The inspector even said, «Wow. These guys did a great job. The best I’ve seen.»
I give them 5 stars and would give more if I could. They are a family-​run business and I am happy that I came across them and gave them a chance. My new central air system is amazing. Thanks, Albert Air!

Albert Air is a top notch company! Our ancient air system was completely dead and the ducts ripped and decayed. Nick gave me an estimate for a first class job at 50% less than a major competitor and included more ducts and all the extras. The Albert Air expert crew was on time, vastly experienced and did a fantastic install. The new install made our old air system look like the junk it was. Our 1928 house is now actually cool on hot days! The new compressor is much more efficient and quiet. The price was very fair and the job FIRST CLASS. No wonder other neighbors have used them.

Lived in Anaheim for past 3 years and had no issues with our AC. Moved to Northern California two months ago and rented out our home… and of course, the AC went out on our tenants. A past colleague referred me to Albert Inc. who was extremely helpful and accommodating due to our situation. System was replaced immediately and at a reasonable cost. I would recommend them to anyone and will absolutely use them again should any issues arise.

Great customer service and expert knowledge with HVAC. Technicians and staff were well skilled and suggested new more efficient cost effective HVAC unit. Albert Air introduced me to operate the unit via my smartphone. Overall, this new process has been very user friendly and has saved me money on my recent electrical bill.

I used Albert Air to fix my reverse heat exchanger in late june when things were starting to warm up. I needed a fix quick since I had new tenants coming in a just 2 days. Jason the technician came out, diagnosed and fixed all in 1 day, which wasnt easy since the motor I had was no longer available and he had to convert a new model to fit. These people know what they’re doing and would recommend to anyone wanting a quality job and quality service. Thanks for the great work.

My family used Albert Air because they wanted a company that was local and that has been around for awhile. They are family owned and have certified factory trained techs that actually do the work. We were very happy with their services, and will be using them again in the future.

Our office manages aprox 10 properties an Albert Air handles all of our rental’s heating and air. They are always prompt, professional, and reasonably priced. We did not always use Albert AIr, but we’re glad we switched. They are one of the absolute best in their field and I see a long relationship with them going forward. Highly recommend!

I was having problems with my furnace & called a few companies in the area. I am very happy that I went with Albert Air. The tech (John) was extremely helpful and very honest. He explained everything in detail and let me know that I would probably be needing to replace the furnace in the future but was able to do some repairs at a minimal cost and save me a few more years on the furnace. I know I will be calling them back when it finally does give out and I need to replace the furnace.
