June 13′ I purchased a 2009 Chevy Express from Cal Auto. 1.5 months later the van starts to shake unbearably and the exhaust sounds like it belongs to a race car. We took it to pepboys and they gave us the bad news. They said our Chevy has parts from other cars and they cannot fix it unless we buy the original parts from GM. I asked if we can use an after market part but apparently no one makes an after market for this specific part. I contacted the dealership and the sales man was incredibly short/​blunt and said all sales only have one month warranty. He didn’t even spend an extra min choosing his words wisely in a manner that would make a customer feel that he was slightly concerned (customer Service).Then I asked, «how is it possible for this van to pass smog if the exhaust system on the van you sold me is not the correct parts and is completely broken?. He said he doesn’t know and my problem is with their neighbor (15 min Smog) and not with them. Then he said «I don’t know what you’ve done with the Car in the past 1.5 months, how do we know you didn’t rip out the original parts and swap them out with the wrong parts. I responded sarcastically and said «Yeah, that’s what I do, I spend 15k on a van just to rip the parts out and return the vehicles to the seller» After spending 30 mins trying to get the dealership to at least step out side to glance at the van, I tucked my tail in and left. Please be aware of this dealership. They do not understand the concept of customer service and they are the definition of «dirty car salesmen». Safe your money.

Seems nice — at first. Then, once you’re hooked, they jack you around on the price, claiming they «have another buyer».
They lied about the service that was done, were never forthcoming with any proof or paperwork, and stalled this deal for weeks while they tried to extort more money from me. When I finally came up to their price, they made sure I understood they weren’t going to fix anything. «Take it or leave it» type service. Rude on the phone. And Kal is a real piece of work! Avoid this place. NOT trustworthy.

After my husband and I drove all around the LA/​OC area looking for a good used car for our son’s first car we ended up right down the street at Cal Auto Net. Because of their great selection of higher end cars we bought a car for my husband instead! We worked with Fred and he gave us a terrific price. My son will have to drive our old car for now but we will go back to Cal Auto Net for his next car.

I have to say it was actually a good used car buying experience. Never thought I would utter those words. I bought a 2010 BMW 5 Series with 33k miles. Got a smoking deal from Fred, they were more than fair with my trade-​in and actually offered a little more than other car dealers were offering me. I would totally recommend them… no pressure, no games, good cars.

I’m a small business owner that was in search of a van for delivery services. After scouring the internet I found about 10 vehicles at dealerships that met my need. I developed a spreadsheet to compare price, features mileage and drivetrain. Afterwards I reduced the list to 4 dealers and phoned them all to get more information. Mack at Cal Auto answered the phone and was very patient with me as he answered my many questions. He ended the conversation with «just come see the van and you’ll be extremely happy». The next morning I visited the other 3 dealerships first and finally Cal Auto. Ray welcomed me and assisted with my review of the vehicle and test drive. Mack was right, I LOVED the van! It rode much better than all the overs I’d driven and was extremely clean inside and out. There was two small problems, a malfunctioning door handle and a scratch in the paint near the drivers door. The owner Cal took care of both issues without any additional charges.
After making the purchase I took the van to my local Chevy dealer for a full inspection and it passed all tests successfully. I was told by my service rep that I shouldn’t need to bring the car in for service for at least another year!

I was looking for a 10 year old Jaguar XJ Vanden Plas and Cal Auto Net had one of them on Auto Trader. It turned out to be my favorite of the ones I saw including two from private parties. Staff is very polite and Kal the owner closed the transaction with a 50% warranty which was honored for an ABS light coming on. I will definitely go back if I get another opportunity to shop for a luxury car.

I am a young professional woman, and I was looking into purchasing a luxury vehicle. Obviously this came with much trepidation and worry about buying the RIGHT car, and not getting a bad deal or a LEMON.
A friend recommended Cal Auto Net to me, and while it was a bit of a drive (I live in Woodland Hills), I decided to go there after I looked at their website and saw the huge inventory, and talked with their Internet manager Ray K. He was very knowlegable, patient, to the point, and honest. There were a few cars that had caught my eye and he was sure to point out the little nuances that a couple had. He also took the time to ask me questions about how I would use the car and recommended which would be a better purchase for me. Once I got there I did a test drive of 3 different cars that caught my eye (out of the 150+ inventory it was difficult to make a selection! :-)
Once I picked THE car, I spoke with Cal (the owner/​GM), who is the nicest and most patient person you will ever meet. Contrary to the stigma of the «typical car salesman», he was not pushy, and was very detailed in answering all my questions. I felt good making the purchase, and a couple hours later I drove out with the car of my dreams.
I would definitely recommend this dealership to ANYONE looking into purchasing a used vehicle. Their selection is amazing, their staff is knowlegable, honest, patient, and eager to please, and their location is adjacent to the freeway. Definitely a + experience!

Yup, junk cars that are made to look good in a web photo but in person, they are all either repainted, bondoed, crashed, or damaged interiors.
I don’ t know where these cars come from but they are not for regular folks who want a reliable used car.
All the cars are in very poor condition cars only meant for experienced mechanics.
If you are a consumer, don’t go here — you will get ripped off!
