i have used capri shoe repair for more than 10 years the man who does the repairs is extra ordinary . saturday june 23 at 3:57 pm i dropped off a pair of sandals to be repaired and two young men were behind the counter talking the store was empty. i got two bottles of dye and waited for them to stop chit chatting. i asked how much to repair a back strap on my sandals? right then the other young man interrupted and said so what are you going to do? they exchanged a few words and he left angry. now here is the part that gets weird the clerk then tells me it will be 30 dollars for the repair i said that seems high well you can take em with you hands up steps back. ok let me leave them i say i also want these two bottles of dye. ok the clerk says i will make it forty dollars. i give him two twenties and he starts to fill out the shoe tag. after i fill it out he looks at me and says now you have to pay i meet his eyes and i say i already paid you … the says oh yeah. i leave and he locks the door. i found it so disturbing, i call on monday three phone calls and finally talk to oscar navarro. he seemed bored and vague not too interested said i ‘ll give you call after i check on the price. no apology no thanks for letting me know not even your a good customer let me check it out nothing and still no call . something is going on at that location it’s not good and i need to find a new repair guy where the clerk doesn’t try to rip you off. he never gave me a register receipt he made it a flat fee and set it up that i returned when he was working . oscar must be in a really bad place that he cannot do a small follow up
