I have gone to this pharmacy for several years and I have always had a great experience. They have ordered specific brands of medication for me while all other pharmacies were not willing to do so. I live in Irvine which is not around the corner but I’ve still used this pharmacy because they really go out of their way to ensure customer satisfaction. The staff is extremely friendly and genuinely care about their customers which is something you don’t experience at these big pharmacies like CVS, Rite Aid, etc.

I have been going to Central Drugs for a few years now. Not only are they the friendliest group I’ve ever encountered, they go far and beyond to please their customers. Special orders, no problem. Mail delivery, no problem and no charge! I highly recommend this pharmacy and every employee there because they all take such great care to make sure your needs are met. Never have I met more caring, friendly and professional people. Simply the best!

The worst pharmacy in town just might be this place! The staff is completely ignorant on anything other than «their policy.» Finally after waiting for days to have them complete a simple task that would have taken Walgreen less than ½ hr I asked for my scripts back. They refused! In case U dont know thats against the law. Laws mean nothing to these clowns but their policy is sacred… Ill be fair, its a nice area and a beautiful office. Other than that though its a terrible pharmacy and you are better off going almost anywhere else…

I always get all my prescriptions refilled here and they are awesome! They are always on time, they call me if they have any questions, the staff is super friendly, and they have parking right in the front. I highly recommend you go there for your pharmacy needs.

I recently had Central Drugs In Fullerton fill a special medication needed for 18 days. My regular one has a specific dye that I can not have for an upcoming test. They handled everything, called my doctor, got approval by my insurance. Sure was nice to have someone else handle it since I didn’t know all the avenues. Also, I am thankful that this prescription can be filled. I didn’t want to be off of it in the time I had to prepare for the upcoming test. So thank you so much & to the awesome staff who kept me updated the whole way. Also, I am in Huntington Beach, and they had it mailed to my door, so convenient. I will let everyone know about them.

I agree with Leslie Q. I have also had hormone dosing issues at this pharmacy. My doctor recently increased my dose of estrogen, i had my prescription filled by them and used it for a month as i usually do. When i called to refill my prescription i asked how many refills i had left, the pharmacist told me i only had one and a half since my last refill was for two months. What? So i was given a two months supply and was never told! So for a whole month i took more than double the amount of estrogen i should have been taking. And where did the half a refill come from? The pharmacist was also polite to me but when it comes to your health politeness is just not enough. The package label did say take half a gram each day but since i was never told i was being given a two month supply i assumed half a gram was the amount of estrogen that was in one dose. I had no idea i needed to cut each dose in half. Pharmacist explained that it is very important to be exact with dosing. Yes, i agree! Isn’t it their job to ensure proper dosing? If you use this pharmacy please ask lots of questions do not assume pharmacist is giving you proper dose.

I am a very particular person! A real nitpicker! I want to know all the details regarding my medications. In all of my 90 years, I have never come across a pharmacy that measured up to my expectations — until I met the people at Central Drugs ! The pharmacists and the technicians are without peer. They are friendly, knowledgeable, courteous, never too busy to answer my many questions, and on top of all this they offer FREE DELIVERY, convenient parking, and easy access to their store. All of this is very important when you are physically handicapped.

I have had several issues related to dosing and consistency. I made complaints to the pharmacist. He listened, said he would get back to me, but never did. There are legal and ethical criteria for the manufacturing and delivery of medication. Compounding pharmacies are not exempt from these criteria.
Unfortunately, being nice and smiling are not a substitue for accurate dosing. Hormone balances are important and this pharmacy does not treat them as such.
FYI — look for accreditations like PCAB, Pharmacy Compounding Accreditations Board or PCCA, Professional Compounding Centers of America.
This pharmacy is not accredited and the lack of compliance to dosing is appalling.

I’ve never been to or even heard of a compounding pharmacy before but my dr. specifically requested a particular combination gel for my face. Their customer service is spectacular! I received a phone call from them going over specifics of my rx and it was ready for pick up the next day! What a great find!

Yep, I’m reviewing a compounding pharmacy!
I’ve been dealing with some confusing medical issues and needed to get some prescriptions filled. My doctor sent me to this pharmacy. Every single person that I’ve encountered there has been AMAZINGLY helpful and caring. Wow! Complete knowledge in their work and what they are dispensing. 100% of the time there has been smiles on everyone in the room.
I’ve only been there 3 times but I’ve never felt rushed with going over the «how and why»… I was even given detailed instructions on how to give myself a shot in the (ahem) rear end, how to fill the syringe, where to inject and all of that. I want to do it right and so when I asked her to go over it one more time, she was pleasant and was glad to go over all the things to remember. She even said I could come in again if I needed another review or help with my first one.
Customer Service has been FANTASTIC in every way. I’m considering making it my «go to» for future prescriptions too… let’s hope I don’t need many though. :)

The customer service here is always amazing! Very friendly staff who always try to go above & beyond. The store is always immaculate as well. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for an alternative to the big box drug stores.
