My back is in pretty bad shape — I’d put off my visit because like many moms we rarely put our needs first. After hurting my shoulder last year during a move & experiencing constant pain for about 6 months I said «enough is enough». My first adjustment was on 4÷16÷16 and to say it helped tremendously is an understatement. Although, I still felt soreness in my lower back, I no longer had the tight pain in my shoulder. My second adjustment was on 4/23/16…as the day progressed I realized «Hey! My lower back isn’t hurting!» I was actually able to lay on my back comfortably — something I haven’t done in years. Looking forward to my future adjustments and having my back feel 100%!! Wellness is the KEY here and I thank Dr. Cooper for being amazing!

Dr. Cooper came highly recommended from a large group of our friends that had been seeing him for months. My first initial impression was «wow, this man has a gift!» But then the truth behind his practice came out shortly thereafter. Bottom line, this man is a GREEDY businessman.
Let’s start from the top. Once a month Dr. Cooper throws his famous «dinner with the doctor», where a client of his can invite you to hear all about his practice. He treats you to a very nice dinner in downtown Fullerton and talks about what he does over dinner with a slide show. He comes off very knowledgable and his stories of curing people have you in awe. The thought crossed my mind over dinner though «how does he have time to treat all these new clients?» And here lies his greediness.
Once he’s got u interested, and has u in for your first initial visit, he sits down with u and goes over all your health issues and then does X-​rays. He really takes his time and sells u a dream. I also must mention that because u attend his «dinner with the doctor» he «waves» the initial visit fee of $ 175 and instead u donate $ 20 to his foundation. Which is all a hoax because he then bills your insurance the $ 175 plus more!
After your initial visit and x-​rays you have the green light to see him regularly for adjustments. EVERY OTHER practicing chiropractor works on an appointment basis, usually one client every 15 mins or so and charges between $ 50-​$ 75, not this guy. He has «adjustment hours» and what that means is between 9 – 10 11 – 12 and so on you and 30 other people are waiting to see him. So even if u arrive there at 9:15 am you most likely won’t be getting adjusted until 10:15. This came as a HUGE surprise to me. Most peoples time is very precious. I work, I have a newborn, and I live in LA, so to my surprise a quick visit to a chiropractor end up taking 3 hours out of my day. When I called in recently to complain about numerous things, this was at the top of my list. The very nice girls who work the front desk told me he’s been losing lots of really great clients based on this factor alone.
On your first initial visit (if u have insurance) he really sells u on a plan. Our insurance covers 70 percent of the cost of our visits. So he layed out a year plan for myself, my partner, and our child. For example let’s say our yearly plan for everything he was going to do for us totaled $ 10,000, he asks u to pay the $ 3,000 up front and then (u would think) he would, over a year, charge your insurance the remaining $ 7,000. NOPE! He then turns around and bills your insurance FAR more than that. If u don’t have insurance an adjustment is $ 45, but suddenly when you have insurance one visit is billed at $ 175! We received a copy of our first bill that he billed to our insurance and he charged $ 45 for a spinal adjustment $ 45 for a non-​spinal adjustment? $ 45 to sit in his massage chair for 5 mins and $ 45 to stand on his vibrating machine for 3 mins. I was in SHOCK. If this doesn’t scream insurance FRAUD I don’t know what does.
Lastly he’s supposedly available Mondays-​Saturdays but to my surprise he’s gone every Friday and Saturday. He flies his entire family out to see his son play college football in another state. Most people only are available on Saturdays, because most people have busy schedules during the week. So it’s great that Saturdays, when we are available Mr. Cooper is living his lavish lifestyle on your insurances dime.
Save yourself. Your money and your time by never giving this man your business. He does have a gift, but when you’re greedy and taking advantage of people who have health issues, you don’t deserve my business.

We have been coming to see Dr Cooper for nearly 4 months now and the progress my wife is making is astonishing and nothing short of a miracle. She had scoliosis at a young age and had her upper back fused. Twenty years later she was suffering lower back pain from the pressure of the rods pressing down. After numerous painful and expensive «procedures» like steroid injections and burning of the nerves there was no real fix for her problems. We met Coop through a friend, not ever thinking that chiropractic was an option with her rods in her back. Boy were we wrong, my wife would come home from work and go straight to bed in a lot of pain… now after her adjustments and guidance from Coop she can function with nearly no pain at all. We sit in the lobby, waiting our turn, watching miracles performed on a daily basis! I would HIGHLY recommend looking up his page on Facebook cooperstown chiro and see the miracles for yourself. We also attended the Christmas drive this year for the first time. One word. HUMBLING! A life changing event that I was proud to volunteer at. Thanks to Coop and all the staff for all you do! To see the love of my life have a chance at a painless life is amazing! !

I’ve been going to Dr. Cooper’s for almost 18 years. So it’s safe to say I know the guy pretty well…
I’ve never been to another chiropractor, and I won’t ever go to another one, even if I move away. Dr. Cooper has saved me on many, many, MANY occasions. When it comes to my general health, he has never been wrong. Not once. I tend to be a TEENY bit clumsy… so I have been hurt MANY times over the years (my nickname is dummy lol) from car accidents to a broken ankle and everything in between… and because of him, I have never had to see a general practitioner (yes, even with a broken ankle). He definitley has a wonderful talent for what he does.
My favorite memory of Dr. Cooper is from way back in the day… I received a birthday card from the office. The outside had a picture of a skeleton, and the inside caption read «If you come by, Dr. Bones will sing to you for your birthday». Well normal people would interpret that as getting an adjustment (sound of cracking bones). Well, in my teenage fit, I INSISTED he actually sing to me. He looked at me like I was crazy and laughed for a minute… then he sat me on the counter and sang Happy Birthday to me. It was hilarious.
But on top of all that, he’s a loving, wonderful, family man. He is strong in his faith and that means a lot to me. Spiritually he has guided me and helped me immensely. There have been days I have walked into his office a complete emotional mess, and he is always there for me. He is truly like family. I love that man.

Dr. Cooper is one of the Nicest, Honest people i’ve ever met … He has helped me out the past with back problems (LIFE SAVER!). and Fixes my Mother’s problems on a regular basis… I Would recomend this office to anyone looking for honesty and affordability.

Dr. Cooper is the most down to earth, loving doctor you’ll ever meet. I had a friend who only had 8% chance of surviving cancer and given 2 years to live. She was battling stage 4 colon cancer. If it wasn’t for the quality care he gave her she may have not been the miracle story I am so glad to share. I respect his passion and care for his patients. As of a result I now have about 10 of my friends visiting him and we can all agree he has greatly helped our health in a great way. I would strongly recommend anyone to make a trip to his office.

My first visit. Office staff were very helpful. Dr. Cooper is way into sports. I’m not but no matter, my first adjustment was unlike any of the chiros I’d been to before. Turns out my lower back by my tailbone was way out of alignment. In any case, I wake up this morning & notice not only less lower back pain; I notice I’m walking straighter. Much straighter. And I’m thinking about my posture, not just standing up straight but standing & sitting square with my lower back & legs even with my shoulders. I’ll visit again later this week. But suffice it to say, out of all the quack chiropractors out there, Dr. Cooper so far seems to be legit & a true sports/​physical therapist without all the voodoo garbage you find from some in that profession. I’d give 10 stars if I could.
