I heard about Create From Scrap at the Rubber Stamp Show in Carson this year. I love the idea of recycling gently used crafting supplies! My daughter and I drove up from Laguna Hills just to check it out. The owner was very nice and let us take our time browsing. Her stock is constantly changing due to donations, so you never know what treasure you might find. I picked up a vintage postcard with a beautiful bird on it, my daughter found a couple of journals. Her prices are very reasonable. Although I haven’t been to any of the workshops or Saturday coffee & craft events, they sound like fun and I’ll be putting at least one of those on my calendar.

This place is adorable. I went in yesterday and the owner politely and happily explained to me how the store worked and I have never been more excited to find a business! I love going through everything, and it’s so dirt cheap! It’s crazy how cheap everything is! I love the mask contest (I’m going to enter) and I found so many cool things. I’m so happy to have found this place. You can go in and buy stuff that other people have donated, it’s like a bunch of things to make other things out of. The craft ideas are endless, and she even allows you to work in the back table if you want to! I didn’t have time my last visit but I certainly will make time during my next visit.
