History

Established in 2009.

I have always had a love for baking and delicious desserts! My recipes have been tried and perfected over the last 20 years or so… Early 2009 I decided to take my love of baking to a new level by selling Cupcakes and Buttermilk Scones to my friends and family. Over the past 5 years, my only advertisement has been hundreds of satisfied customers passing along my information by word of mouth. I love my customers and they always come back for more.

Very happy with customer service and the cupcakes! I placed an order last minute and she was so kind to respond and have the cupcakes when I needed them! YUM-MY! I was lucky enough to be able to pick up some Valentine’s Day Six Packs… in fact; I picked up four of them. They were delicious. These delights were light and flavorful and not too sweet. They really hit the spot and were a big hit with folks that I gave them to.
Sarah is also just about the nicest person you will ever meet and she scores major points with me for all she does in the community. Not only does she bake delicious treats, she is someone you would want be friends with.

Cupcake Blake was a HIT at our wedding! Sarah was flexible and easy to work with. She even let me use one of her cake stands for a small 6 inch cake for my husband and I :). I don’t know what my favorite flavor is! Every flavor I tried at our sampling was my favorite! I went home from our wedding with an extra cupcake to share with my hubby to end our amazing day! Absolutely deliciousssssss. My fiancé (now husband) and I met with Sarah at a coffee bean to test out cupcakes many months ago. She asked me if I had any preference prior to our meeting and I just let her know that I trusted her since she’s been doing this for a while, so she can bring her favorites and most popular… and oh my gosh… I was impressed! All the flavors were sooo yummy and made choosing our cupcakes tricky! We went with chocolate peanut butter, salted caramel, lemon lime and strawberries and cream. Soo good! The day of our wedding I provided signage and tiers and she arranged the cakes beautifully! I’m so glad we went with Cupcake Blake for our wedding because not only were the cupcakes absolutely delicious, but Sarah is such an easy, friendly and down to earth lady to work with :)

I’m late to the party. Just got my first order of Cupcake Blake cupcakes last month. My only complaint: WHY DID I NOT ORDER MORE!!! My daughter (who is a huge cupcake aficionado) and I devoured our 6-pack of cupcakes. The flavors were absolutely delicious. We had an assortment with two each of Key Lime, S’mores, and Strawberry.
The S’mores cupcakes were such a big hit that I never got to personally taste them. I’m still holding a grudge over this.
Key Lime is a flavor I normally gravitate toward, and CCB’s were stellar. The frosting was all kinds of yummy.
I normally shy away from strawberry cakes and cupcakes because the flavor always leaves me wanting. But Cupcake Blake totally won me over. The strawberry cupcakes were moist and incredibly flavorful. I could’ve eaten a dozen all by myself. (So maybe it was better that I under-bought!).
We are eagerly looking forward to the next 6-pack Saturday event!
PS — My daughter also wanted me to add that Cupcake Blake makes THE BEST BROWNIES EVER!!! (her emphasis… I can’t wait to try one of these highly-coveted confections).

I had ordered 1 dozen of the strawberry cupcakes & 1 dozen lemon cheesecake from cupcake Blake. The cupcakes were moist and the frosting was on point! Everyone loved them at the bridal shower! I would give it an overall 4.5÷5 stars. Based on taste, I would give it a 5 star, however, due to the price, it’s knocked down .5. I would still recommend this place though!:)

I have ordered cupcakes twice now from Cupcake Blake, and I cannot wait for my next event to order more! The flavors are absolutely delicious (the Oreo Dark is my favorite!). The cake is moist, but not too heavy, and the frosting is amazing. There were no cupcakes left at either event I ordered for. I will have to order more next time so I can have a few leftovers.

Ordered cupcakes for a brewery tour I organized for husbands birthday. They came out delicious. It was the Ryerland and Corona line. You can taste the flavor of each beer and the corona line was more subtle but refreshing. I’m not surprised those cupcakes didn’t last. The size of cupcakes are not overly large but just the right size proportion wise, especially at price. Will order again.

We loved the cupcakes from Sarah at Cupcake Blake! She was so nice, we had met before through her husband and when it came time to find a cupcake caterer for our wedding we thought of her immediately. She has the best flavors, we chose strawberry lemonade, ryerland, smore and brown velvet (like red velvet without the food coloring) and we even used them for our favor. Everyone loved them and she made us a little cake for cutting too. She was so helpful on the day of and organized and everything went perfectly. Cannot recommend enough, plus super affordable.

Sarah is so nice, and her cupcakes so reasonably priced! Definitely want to support her venture. Her shop is out of her home, but it is near the intersection of State College and Bastenchury just up the street from Cal State Fullerton and around the corner from Morningside of Fullerton. You must call ahead and order.

Sarah made scones for my sister’s bridal shower tea and I have to admit, they were the first thing to go! They were so tastey and moist! They are by far the best scones I’ve ever had! She was very easy to work with and she was very flexible when I had to adjust my order to 1 dozen less than I originally planned. I will definitely be ordering from her again very soon! p. s. Cupcake Blake made the cupcakes for our wedding:)!!
My 2 favorite flavors of hers are corona lime– wow! Tart and addicting– you can’t just eat one. And the ryerland– baileys frosting with Guinness chocolate cake. What??? Not too sweet but rich and mind blowing. Yum!
Her cupcakes are moist, the perfect size and are like little pillows of heaven.
And she is hilarious, creative, sweet and a joy to work with:).

Bestest, yummiest, cupcakes ever! Great flavors, tasty frostings, decent price point. I’ve had the Lemon Cheesecake and the Strawberries and Cream cupcakes, and both were splendidly good, though I have to say that the Strawberries and Cream was definitely my favorite. At $ 2 a pop, they were also pretty inexpensive.
CCB does not yet have it’s own storefront, but they should! They’d do great, considering how yummy their cupcakes are. They usually are refrigerated, probably to preserve the freshness of them since they seem to have a pretty high moisture content. No biggie — just let your cuppie sit out for a few minutes while you gobble your BBQ. They are conveniently located inside Shortstop BBQ, and you just order the cupcakes along with your usual BBQ :)
The one and only downside to CCB is that there are rarely any more than one or two cupcake flavors available at once! I’d buy several flavors if I could :/
