El Taco Loco

Great Costumer service, i work right around the corner and i been going with them for over a year now. Really nice ladies and great place to spend my lunch, eating and talking with them. Their is one lady her name is Elva and she is super funny and makes the place alive. Great food:)

Love El Taco Loco. I have used them many, many times for parties I’ve had. I get nothing but great comments from my party guests. Highly recommend them. Great service… and really fairly priced!

I ended up at El Taco Loco because it was the nearest restaurant around. I had 30 minutes to kill while I waited at a nearby warehouse and I decided to walk and stop by El Taco Loco.
The prices are like the usual taco/​burrito places. I got myself a Al Pastor burrito with no beans. I sat down and was surprised they brought out some chips and salsa for me. That was pretty cool of them. Totally didn’t expect that. Then the burrito came and it was pretty delicious. You wouldn’t think the food was good here because of their appearance but hey, my momma always told me not to judge a book by its cover.

I honestly don’t kno how did place stays open wit da way dey serve there customers. If u ain’t there race den u will see the way they give u looks n makes u jus say wtf did I get myself into. Food here sucks n the workers here are jus straight up rude. Any1 reading this pls be careful if u do end up goin here. I’ve had bad stomach pains n u will to

I hate to leave a bad review, but this has to be done, just like a trip to the dentist !
I’ve been a customer of El Taco Loco for over 4 years now. Before my last and final visit, the food here was always hit and miss. The only consistently good thing is the chips and salsa.
About 3 weeks ago I came in for breakfast and ordered the Chilaquiles and Eggs breakfast. It didn’t look the way my mom made them when I lived at home. They were soggy with red enchilada sauce. There was no crumbly cheese or onion either. I was hungry so I ate it. Bad idea. My stomach was hurting all day and night.
A week later, after being pressured by my coworkers, I went back again. Another bad idea ! I tried to play it safe and ordered the Breakfast Special on the dry erase board. It was Eggs, Hash-​browns, and Ham. How could you go wrong with that, right? Well, it was bad! When my plate came to the table, even my coworkers made a weird face. My eggs were ok; scrambled. The ham was like a piece of ham from a can ! Yuck ! The hash-​browns were the worst ! They were two previously frozen hash-​browns that you can buy at the supermarket. I was highly disappointed in the quality of food. I didn’t eat my food and left there hungry.
For the quality of food served, the prices should be reduced. I believe the prices are way too high for previously frozen food. I don’t mind paying the price for good fresh food. But here, you don’t get what you pay for !

After you order and get seated, you get free chips&salsa! YAY!
Their portions here are pretty huge. Had their burrito and tacos, both carne asada. The meat quality was all right. Come if you wanna get od’d on Mexican Food.

I have now had this place enough times I can legitimately leave a review. Well, let me start by saying the breakfast burrito was awesome. They put fried potatoes in it with a meat of your choice, eggs, cheese, and salsa. And yes, it was huge! Moving onto lunch, I’ve had their Carne Asada Nachos, and loved them. Perfect Chips, not too fatty of meat, and I really like the cheese. And to top it all off, they make their own tortillas. She’s pressing them from scratch over yonder and heating them on the grill. Wow, Maybe I just don’t see into the kitchens of many Mexcian restaurants, but I sure know Taco Bell ain’t doing that. :-)
Now for minus 1 star reasons. Price is a little higher then some smaller Mexican establishments. I would like it just a slight bit cheaper. They do have some specials, like 1 dollar taco nights, but not sure when yet. 2^nd, the nachos were good, but I wasn’t happy that it was in a Styrofoam container and melted some of the bottom. Makes me feel I’ll be getting cancer sooner then I want from eating plastic. Maybe place a piece of aluminum foil or parchment paper on the bottom before you put the hot chips in.
I’ll definitely be going back though. And it’s so close to me.

Tacos are pretty bomb I was surprised. Hard to find a good authentic taco and their rice and beans taste homemade. Def will be coming back.

Torta Thursdays, is the reason i like to come to this place although the Nachos are pretty much amazing also. Awesome bang for the buck when your in the mood for tacos.
The best part of this restaurant is the fresh chips and salsa that are complimentary, with your meal. The chips have a crunch all of their own.
I highly recomment it… the only reason i have not given this place a five star is because i have never had dessert here. Although im sure if it becomes available i will give it a shot.

I absolutely love this joint! My work is literally 3 minutes away, and it’s legit Mexican food so they deserve 4 stars.
3 tacos and a regular size drink for $ 3.99? Are you kidding me? The owner and I always chit chat while I’m waiting for my order to come out and she is a really funny lady. I’ve been going here for about 2 years now and love their carne asada, chicken and most of all FISH TACOS, Tijuana style! It’s very inexpensive, tastes great, awesome customer service, what more could I ask for?

soo. i love mexican food, and I have lived in fullerton for a little more than a year now, and i have been on a quest to find the best mexican food joint. Clearly, mexican food is not a specialty of orange county, but nevertheless, I have continued my quest… and fortunately I have found El Taco LOCO!
Ok, so I was out running an errand and i finished the errand unusually early. I had a lot of time on my hands before class, so i thought this would be the perfect opportunity to find some good mexican food. So i searched mexican food on the navigation on my phone, and taco loco had the highest rating and it was the closest to my location. so off i went!
Its a really small restaurant in this really random place, so automatically i thought that it was going to be a typical OC joint, but i decided to stay open minded and go inside. I knew that the food would at least be fresh because I could see part of the cooking area and i saw people dicing and frying, so that was a plus. I ordered a chicken taco plate. it was ready quickly and it came with 2 tacos, rice beans, and chips and mild salsa (chips were definitely a plus, i hate when places skip in the chips!!) the taco wasn’t small, and it wasn’t big like the mission brand at the grocery store; it was just right. the meat wasn’t greasy or tough, it was perfect. the pricing was good as well, $ 5 and some change, it def filled me up!
The only disappointing factor was that they did not serve homemade horchata **(btw, i have yet to find a place that does in the Fullerton area, if you know a place that sells bomb homemade horchata, let me know. i’m a fiend for it!!!)** Also, i would have liked for the tacos to come with more toppings that onions and cilantro.
Other than that, i had a good experience, and so far el taco loco is my mexican food joint. its a bit of a drive from where i live, but its well worth it!

Why are the best joints always the ones that look run down or hidden somewhere in the dark?
This place has some legit Mexican food! I usually only get the taco special, 3 tacos+drink=$ 3.99! The tacos are good. Perfectly seasoned and the meat is tender.
It’s not a huge joint, but when the food is good who cares :]

This place is a hidden gem. Located in an industrial park is a tiny restaurant where everything, including the tortilla chips are made fresh on the premises. Always packed during lunch time, the burritos shouldn’t be missed — especially the al pastor.
This is not a fancy, place. This is a place where you’ll receive great service and great food.
One of the few truly authentic Mexican spots around!

Wow, only one review? I just went there for lunch today and was pleasantly surprised. My boyfriend raves about these carne asada tacos and so I wanted to try them. They have a three taco with a drink special for only $ 3.99. Pretty good deal. And it’s not teeny, tiny tacos either. They make corn tortillas by hand there too. Another plus. The meat isn’t greasy, no fatty parts either… so it still tastes healthy. Oh, and I can’t forget the salsa. It’s delish, not too spicy but certainly not mild. Good with the chips or tacos or anything else there I would imagine. Best in town, if you ask me. Mmm… all this talk are making me crave three more carne asada tacos. Wonder what time they close. Lol!

I have lunch here plenty of times and the food is good, but the service is horrible. I love their $ 3 taco special (3 tacos and a soda for $ 3). Their carne asada quesadillas are yummy. They make the tortillas in house, which give the tacos /​burritos/​quesadillas the home made feel. If their service was better and if they opened on Sunday I would give them 3 – 4 stars. Many times they have forgotten to give me napkins or utensils (and they dont have them accessible for the customer). The service definitely needs to be improved. The place looks very clean and its very busy during lunch hours.
