Elks Lodge of Fullerton

What a wonderful place for a party!
Hidden up on the hilltop overlooking Fullerton and surrounding areas. Loads of large windows and a comfortable outdoor sitting area too. Can be a tiny bit tricky to find the road up, but it’s marked if you look for it.
I’m not an Elk but I’ve been to this venue as a guest for parties. And from a guest’s point of view, they do this right! Nice large room, polite servers, delicious food. They seem to be able to accommodate for any occasion and up to a pretty large quantity of people as well. Dancing is perfect as the sound system acoustics work well in the large «ballroom».
Ample parking up on the hill and a covered area for rainy drop off.
I would definitely consider using this Elk facility when planning a large party in the future. I’ve been comfortable and impressed with each event I’ve ever attended.

After searching and searching for a reasonably priced location that would be able to host the amount of guests, I was thrilled to find this gem. Esteban, was amazing he truly made my daughters vision for her special day a reality. He went above and beyond to make her day special and everything was so beautiful. Oh and let me know forget the food was delicious. We are considering hosting a family gather her in the future. If your on a budget and really want a nice venue this definitely the place.

Very nice venue, open and inviting with a nice patio. Came here for a surprise bday party and the staff was delightful. I’m assuming you can bring in your own catering because there was a taco man. The bar area was very nice and the drinks were cheap. There is also a game room with darts, shuffle board, poker table and a pool table.

This place was outstanding.
We had a memorial there for a family member, we thought 110 would show up, but more like 135 made it. The staff were outstanding, putting up extra tables, and coming up with extra food. The personnel were very courteous and hardworking. And the place looked beautiful!
The manager there, Esteban, was perfect. No request was refused. He was a real go-​to guy. Whatever we wanted, he made it happen.
You will not do better than this place if you need a banquet hall.
I read the review by Jennifer S. I can’t believe we are talking about the same person, and frankly, I don’t believe her. I am a good judge of people, and I saw him working hard, interacting with his staff, and making things happen. No lies! Just made it happen!

We had an event here 3 weekends ago. It was better than we could imagine. Esteban did a wonderful job. He met with me several times and provided everything we had discussed and then some. He and his staff were there to help whenever we needed something, even before we realized we needed it. The food was delicious and the room was breathtaking. I really cannot thank Esteban enough for making this event so perfect. Irene was helpful too.
I read the negative review below and thought this person is not serious. She must be some fake competitor. I cannot believe she thought she would have a wedding and feed 200 people chicken and tri-​tip for less than 25 dollars a head.

Fabulous NASCAR party there, Sunday. The 17 foot screen is perfect for events like this, the Superbowl, Rose Parade, Oscars, and more. Plus the huge patio has panoramic views.

Even though I live in Fullerton, I never knew this place existed until my son had his boy scout banquet here. I was so impressed with it that I decided to have my parents’ 50^th golden wedding anniversary here on July 3, 2015. Let me tell you that I was so glad I did! This place is AWESOME! From the very first conversation I had with Esteban, the banquet manager, he was so accommodating with all our needs. Whatever we wanted, he made happen! The staff there is equally as impressive. Irene, the sales manager, was so friendly and kind. Ann, the florist who also works as the bar manager, did a beautiful job on the orchid centerpieces for the tables as well as decorating the arch outside for the ceremony. They were able to make the outside ceremony site look fantastic, complete with over 100 white covered chairs and aisle runner. We had over 200 people attend and we had so many compliments. The banquet room looked stunning with gold and white swags draped elegantly on the ceiling. The tables looked stunning with gold overlays over white linen. Uplights throughout the room on the sides enhanced the ambiance. The bartender, Michael, was fantastic and accommodating to all of our guests needs. The food was top notch, cooked by very well trained people, who also work part time at a major hotel chain. We had the Hilltop Buffet with entrees of seared salmon, roasted sirloin of beef, and penni pasta with chicken. The children had a separate meal consisting of chicken tenders and fries. Everthing was delicious! Esteban worked tirelessly throughout the evening, making sure that all things ran smoothly, with a smile on his face and a pleasant attitude. He was really the engine that ran it all! They will not nickel and dime you for everything, like most major hotels do. If it is something in their realm, they will do it for you… happily! The supporting staff who worked that evening were all great. There is also ample parking outside for all your guests. I cannot say enough about this place. I do not think I ever heard «no, we can’t do that» once. They will go above and beyond your expectations. Do not hesitate to contact this place for your next event. They will not disappoint you! Kudos to them for a job well done and making my parents’ anniversary a magical evening. We will definitely be having more events here.

DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE!!! ESPECIALLY ESTEBAN MONSEVALS!
If I could give negative stars I would. Do not trust this place especially not Esteban Monsevals the supposed «banquet coordinator» he is nothing but a liar. He lies to your face with a smile. And then when he is confronted on his failed promises he runs and hides and avoids you. Here is the ordeal that I went through. It makes me upset to this day how horribly we were deceived by this place.
Turn of events on Saturday 10÷25÷14. Below are all of the issues and complaints I have against Esteban and his services or lack of service that was provided to us versus what has promised to us.
1. There was no draping on the ceiling. He promised us that ceiling would be draped. He even had us select the color. Told us he would go by the color of drape if he didn’t have it.
2. There was no up lighting on the walls. Again he has us select the color to make sure that was the color that we wanted.
3. The tables were all wrong. He told us in order to accommodate our party he would need to do 20 Tables of 10 people each. So we created a seating chart based of that. When our guests arrived there were all kinds of tables some with 8 chairs some with 12 chairs. People had to find a place to sit on their own. We had our guests asking us where they were supposed to sit. That is a major problem. I wasted my time making a seating chart for 200 people for nothing! He finally admitted to my mother in law that they ran out of tables, even though I paid for a venue for 200 people.
4. We had preselected the wine that we wanted behind the bar since we paid for that. He even had us write down the wine we wanted. The pinot grigio and mezzacorona. When we asked the bartender for that they said they had no idea what we were talking about. That all they had was their regular house wine.
5. Our personal things were thrown away by the service staff. Had my bridesmaid not said something all of our glass mini mason jars would have been thrown away. We recovered some but not all. We spent over $ 300 dollars on those jars alone!
6. Items were missing. Two burlap purses and a jar of pins went missing. Those were needed for the money dance. When that time came we did not have those items and had to make do on our own.
7. The back patio lights were supposed to be lit up. They were not on at all the entire evening.
8. He was supposed to have specific sized tables placed throughout the banquet room for specific décor that we supplied. When we arrived they were the wrong size and in the wrong place. He said he had to do that because again, he ran out of tables and had no room. Why did he not already know that.
9. The children’s food was in the back and separate from the main food line. He said he had to do that because he again did not have enough tables! No one even knew the food was back there for the kids.
When we originally met with Esteban he quoted us $ 3300 for food and ALL décor linens, draping, lighting for 150 adults and 50 children. Then he added $ 750 on our second meeting because we added to the food menu to include chicken and tri-​tip. We understood that. Then when my husband came in to pay the final balance he was told it was $ 5000. He tried to justify that cost based off having to supply the linens and décor and some new yellow napkins he had to buy (which we never ordered or approved). So my husband paid it. Assuming we had nothing to worry about and everything would be taken care of. The day if the wedding nothing was done that was promised. And when Esteban was confronted by my husband he was told he got what he paid for and walked away. Not once was I asked by Esteban how everything was. I felt avoided and felt our reception was neglected. He even had the nerve to take my mother in law and sister to the other nicely decorated room to show them what he did for those people and not for us. It was obvious that all his time and effort was spent on the other wedding that was going on that night. I don’t know what the point of that was. That was rude, mean, disrespectful, and very unprofessional.
After the wedding I brought my complaints to the Sales Manager Irene Imhof’s attention. She said they were taking it very seriously and it would be addressed and brought up to Esteban and the Elk’s members, to see what they could do for us. I got the run around for about 2 – 3 months. Saying that they were going to bring it up at the next member meeting. Then the so-​called «exalted ruler» Allan Kelly kept saying he was going to help us. Then he stopped calling me and would no longer take my calls. They are nothing but a bunch of crooks! Get everything in writing with them. Do not trust them. They ruined the most important day of my life and could care less about it.

We got married here November 22, 2014. Esteban the banquet coordinator and Irene the manager are awesome. I feel liked I bugged Esteban a lot but he always told me «it’s okay, we will do whatever you want». This place is really a gem if you are on a budget and they will work with you… we really were able to stay on budget. It really is kind of a blank canvas and you are able to totally spruce it up. We actually made a new arch for the ceremony and left it to them for other couples to enjoy. Give them a call!!!

A very new looking building and facilities, with great staff, great service, and a very flexible event space. They do everything from business functions to weddings to dances here, and they do décor, food, and drink right, always with a smile.
There is plenty of parking, and judging from all the RV’s that park there, they are very traveler friendly.

Let me start by saying that they have an UNBELIEVABLE STAFF. We recently had our club banquet there that had been in the planning for almost a year. The staff was extremely accommodating to every DPD dial request that we had. The food was excellent and the service delightful.
If you are planning an event you will not be disappointed in the value, quality and service.
The Elk’s Lodge has a tremendous, hardworking staff. The decorations were unbelievably grand and spectacular.
Esteban and the rest of the staff went above and beyond in making our celebration fantastic experience for everyone.

Great place and reasonably priced beer and cocktails. Their once a month breakfast buffet rocks! The facility is fairly new and well kept, not like other lodges that were built in the 50s or 60s, though I love those lodges too. I also love the hill top view and the fact that there lunches are good including the steaks. They always seem to have activities going on for members and r very supportive of veteran and charity work.
The parking is free and equipped with rv parking. ATM machine on site, they accept credit cards.

After discovering that our original wedding venue was going to be too expensive, my mom suggested trying the Elks Lodge. My husband and I were not expecting anything crazy, but Esteban and the Elks Lodge blew us out of the water. Our guests continue to tell us that it was the best wedding they’ve ever attended.
The food was delicious and Esteban was on site to help out with everything. He was a great contact and person to work with. He was very kind and understanding of our position and did everything he could to help us out. I even happened to witness him throw together a large gathering for Passover the day of the party. (I was there to pick out my linens, and the planners had booked the Elks Lodge for the wrong day, but he threw it together for them and I would imagine it went great).
The location is wonderful and central if you’re between LA and OC. The ceremony area was beautiful! We even were able to do a small Easter egg hunt for the kids at our wedding (our wedding was the day before Easter this year).
I have a friend who is currently looking at the Elks Lodge for her wedding because ours was so great! Thanks again for everything!

We held our daughters wedding there last week and it was amazing. They go above and beyond to make it very special. The food was excellent and the staff was very helpful. Estefan decorated the room exactly how we wanted it, he puts a lot of love in his work. Judy was our bartender who was very friendly and professional. If you are planning a wedding check it out. The price is very affordable.
