First thing you notice is the sign that says«Voted Best $ 5 Burger». Except that $ 5 burger is now $ 6.69. It’s a big burger but not much on flavor. The small order of fries is $ 3.09 and were disappointing. The fries were soggy and a little tasteless for all the hype given to their origin and freshness.

If I could live off Five Guys and not get fat, I freaking would. I always get the little cheeseburger all the way. If I’m really hungry, I get Cajun fries too, but the burger is normally enough to fill me and that’s about $ 5. I’m here about once a week during the school year since CSUF is across the street. Hands down my favorite burger place of all time, and I’m super picky with meat. It gets messy, but who cares? With how good it is, I wolf it down within minutes and leave a happy camper.

5 stars for customer service. A little thing like the cashier asking me if I wanted a water cup while I waited made my day! Food was of course great!

Five guys is too expensive for what they offer simplicity overhyped burgers I suggest in and out down the street or save your money for 50 – 50 Slater Five guys is horrible, waste of money. Can’t say it enough.

Giving them 5 stars because this place is giving their customers just what it says on the walls and the signs. Great burgers with fries and nothing extra. You order what you want and they deliver on all counts. More than ample amount of food hot and fresh. Nice staff especially the order taker who also suggested hot sauce and spicy mustard to me. Been to several Five Guys in many locations and not disappointed in any of them.

Don’t get me wrong. They make OK burgers and I have had some yummy ones at Five-Guys all over the country. The main problem is the price. This isn’t Slater’s 50⁄50 but the price was. Today I got a Bacon Burger with everything/no tom. I ordered a Regular Fries and a Regular Drink. Burger, Drink and Fries set me back $ 15.74!!! Compared to other decent burger joints the Habit or In-N-Out, that’s extremely expensive. I’m not sure how they stay in business with prices that high. The food was OK but not very tasty. The bacon was on par with microwavable. But the have FREE peanuts so that makes up for it right?(I filled my backpack full)

I have gone to many five guys burgers and fries but this one is indeed outstanding. Dom the main man has the best personality and charisma that turns a fast food restaurant into fine dining.

i went to five guys today with my boyfriend. I ordered my usual grilled cheese sandwhich, with grilled onions, and mushrooms with little fries. it was okay. nothing crazy you know. I learned my lesson here about ordering my grilled cheese with tomato haha, it makes it too soggy in my opinion. Our food was ready in a reasonable amount of time. i dont think i have anything i could really complain about. I like there fries here, they taste fresh.

They aren’t shy of grease. The staff was great, the cook in the back greeted me as I walked in. I ordered a double cheeseburger which came out to $ 8.31, which is a bit pricey for a burger without fries or a drink(I wasn’t impressed with the fries last time I was here). I enjoyed the free peanuts as I waited for my order, and took notice of how clean the restaurant was, which is impressive when you’re giving peanuts out to everyone. My burger arrived wrapped in aluminum foil, keeping the burger nice and warm. The ingredients tasted fresh, especially the meat and bun. My biggest issue were the pockets of grease. I would take bites and one of the main flavors i tasted was grease. It was overpowering to say the least. Make sure you grab plenty of napkins. Although i tried to fill up on peanuts, my eight dollar burger left me unsatisfied. I left the restaurant looking for something else less greasy.

I should probably read some of the other reviews. Barring anything out of the norm, I don’t know why Five Guys would have such low ratings. I get that it’s a large chain, but they keep it pretty real. I’ve been to this place a few times – used to live not far from it. Have never been disappointed. FOOD: The fries are amazing. The burgers are the legit. PRICE: It’s a tad pricey for a burger, but there are free peanuts… So take lots of those?

The service here is on point! There was one person working when we walked in and was very patient and had a great sense of humor! I haven’t been here in a while so I got a Jr Cheeseburger and it was just as good as I remembered. The Cajun fries, they give you a lot. I ordered the medium thinking it would just be whatever is in the cup… Nope! it is what’s in the cup plus 2x more in the bag. Very generous with portions here. Wasn’t able to finish the fries but will remember next time to not order quite so much!

I’ve had 5-guys just couple of times at other places, so I wanted to try this place. I already know they have free peanuts. My son is allergic to peanuts, but we thought we just sit outside, even though I had peanuts, I didn’t allow my son touching it. Well, he came home with rash. After a little bit TLC, he was fine. I don’t recall the other couple of times we went to other 5-guys that he developed reaction to peanuts. So it got me thinking, there are people(kids and adults) who are allergic to peanuts. 5-guys business model basically eliminated those potential customers. Now to the food. Actually, the burgers were also not as tasty or flavored as I recall from other 5-guys. It was still good size with 2-patties, but the flavor just wasn’t there. Now with Habit not far from them, I think there are more choices…

Five Guys, meant to be one of those better fast food burger places, is a restaurant I had higher expectations for. The one I have back at home is what set the limit so high. As usual the food is good. Free peanuts is a plus. Service wasn’t as great… It was a little hard to understand the cashier and she got my order wrong, when I repeated mushrooms 3 times. She gave me onions instead. It was probably the music they were blasting. Probably not going to come back, since I can find cheaper better places.

Awkward experience & not worth it– When we walked in and approached the register, the cashier walked away & disappeared behind the kitchen door leaving only the guy cooking to help guests. At least he was willing to take our order. While waiting for my order, another employee showed up behind the counter and was so obnoxious! Saying weird things to customers that weren’t interested in engaging with him… also making fun of customers. Food was ok but we won’t go back.

What a place! Messed up the entire order! Got a burger with no patty, and got a double with only one patty… Also a homeless person was using the men’s restroom to wash his long greasy hair and clean himself up during lunch… gross!

I’m rating this purely based on service. The 3 associates there were more than helpful, extremely attentive, and very genuine. I was actually going to grab lunch next door but I haven’t had this in a while so I decided to come here. I’m glad I did and I’m grateful for the great service. If the worker that helped me at the register is reading this, I finished the 4 patties but it was really quite large haha.

This place was really clean and nice set up, I ordered a little burger which is like a regular sized burger which was alright. I think I prefer in n out more. I don’t think the burger here was meaty enough for me. But I’d come again to try something else. I also got the Cajun fries which was very delicious! I’d say the price is a little more than it offers. The service was really friendly especially Derek who seemed a little too hyper haha

The cashier needs to enjoy his extracurricular activities on his own time. My first and only visit here started off awkwardly. The cashier was just staring at us while I looked over the menu and when I was ready and walked up to the counter he was still staring at me. Mind you, he didn’t say anything when I walked in and still hasn’t said anything as I waited at the counter for a few second. I .had to acknowledge the cashier. Even after me saying«Hi, how are you doing…» he continued his vow of silence, and I continued to feel uncomfortable as gave him my order. Only when he told me how much I owed him($ 9?!) did he finally speak. This being one of the weirdest experiences I’ve had putting in a order at any establishment is an understatement. My only rational is the dude is high as ****. I ordered the little bacon cheeseburger with lettuce as I wasn’t sure what to add as a topping on my first visit. First mistake was ordering it «little» and second was not adding any type of condiment. I was told by my GF that the«little» burger was normal size and should be enough for me. Unfortunately our appetite differs and I’ll need opt for the normal size next time. With only lettuce, cheese, and bacon to accompany my burger I had a hard time pondering what sauce to put in my burger. Mayo? Ketchup? BBQ? No Thousand Island?! Maybe it’s just me but cheeseburgers usually come with thousand island or special sauce. I’m all for customization and letting the customer pick what they want but give a base for your burger to work off of. It was definitely too dry to eat without any condiments. I ended up getting the ketchup and BBQ on the side and dipped the burger when needed. You can taste the freshness of the burger and it was actually pretty good in its own way compared to In n Out of The Habit. I also got my burger with a side of small fries, which to my amazement, wasn’t overly greasy like some pictures I have seen. My main issue with Five Guys is the ridiculous price. I ended up paying over 9 dollars for a bacon cheese burger and small fries. And this is for the«little» bacon cheese burger. To think I can go down the street to either In and Out and pay a lot less or go to the Habit and get a lot more. The food here is tasty if ordered correctly but in no way does it constitute a charge of 9 dollars. I guessing it would cost me 12 dollars total if I included a soda.

Love the taste of the burgers and the cajun fries, but price wise, this place robs me! Spent $ 24. for 2 bacon cheeseburgers, 1 regular fries and a large drink. I could go to other not-so-famous diners and get like 4 burgers, 4 fries and 4 drinks for $ 19.99 or maybe even less. One thing I noticed about this location is that it isn’t crowded most of the time, which is odd to me, since it’s down the way from the colleges. Or maybe I’m just swinging by at a good time. When I want to avoid the overwhelming lines at In-N-Out’s, monotonous chains or hole-in-the-wall diners, I’ll hit up Five Guys to satisfy my ache for quick homemade style burgers.

NIce burgers, the place is always clean, plus there’s free peanuts! Can’t beat that! I stopped in for a quick bite on my way home from work. Got a small cheeseburger, so I wouldn’t spoil my appetite at home. Short wait, but I was busy eating peanuts when my cheeseburger was ready. Was good, with the sauteed mushrooms, and A-1 steak sauce.
