Love the RA’s! Friendly environment. I have no complaints! Awesome staff, nice residents, and great food. ⁵⁄₅!

I used to live here for about 1 year and I had to move out after. In the beginning, this place seems to be a pretty promising place to live. But the longer you live here the more you will realized how bad it can be. The staffs here aren’t really professional at all like the other person mentioned. I understand that some of you have a bad day or tired from work. But please, if you’re gonna work at the office, be professional. The food here is meh. You could literally taste how old the food can be. They used left over ingredient from the other days to recook for next day. The roommate assign program is really bad as well. They would match you up with people that you listed as «Not wanted» on your roommate request. And yeah if you’re an international student. Be prepare to live with another non-​english speaker. Because they won’t match you up with the other even if you request them to. Also, some of the rooms don’t really have AC like they listed. They have the central ac/​heater but that shit doesnt work. So i suggest you to get a portable AC if you wanna live here

I have been living at many different apartment but this place has to be 1 star. First lets start with the office service and the staffs. The vibe and attitude that they give you arent as friendly as they advertised. Many of the RAs are unprofessional as well as being lazy. The managers here are some what helpful but not really becuase they give you an attitude sometime. Second, lets talk about how they will match you and your future roommate. They will give you a roommate request sheet when you first moved in. For my case i have stayed here for 2 years. Every semester i would get a kind of roommate that i stated in the sheet: «i dont want these kind of people to live with me.» I always asked if they could give me an «Americanize roommate» for easy communication. Yet, they always put me up with a bunch of international students who are barely speak any English. Worst of all was my last semester here, i got 2 chinese students and they are f***king dirty. I have told the office so many time and talk to those 2 individually. But yet they always leave the house as a mess. The staffs at the cafeteria was a mix, some of them were nice, some of them werent. But good thing, the food was decent. The security at this place is on point. Not gonna lie, i think thr security staff at night is the most friendly people that i have interacted with here. Probably because they from a different company. Overall, i would never recommend anyone to stay here, unless you are too lazy to cook, or load with money because it is expensive here. If you really want to fully experience your college life, live outside with other people. The events that the RA set up here are pretty lame and boring, as if they treating us like highschoolers.
P.s: They will try to find a lot of bullshit reason to take your money. If you are going to stay here, make sure you keep your room clean your they will take your $ 500 deposit money when you move out as «cleaning service money.»

Living at the University Village apartments was/​is a great experience. I especially like that the apartments are only for students, and the feeling of community you get from living there. The events are usually pretty fun, like mechanical bull riding or laser tag. The cafeteria is pretty good, especially the desserts. And everyone is relatively friendly. The only reason i didn’t give the apartments five stars was because of the noise coming from the alley.

I lived here for almost 2 years and it was great. I also was a Resident Advisor for a year of that time and enjoyed that even more! I can’t tell you how convenient and great this place is for college students. You really do get spoiled here! It is right across the street from the Cal State campus so I could bike to class in 5 minutes. They provided me with great meals Mon-​Fri so that I could stay focused on school and enjoy college life without having to worry about buying food or making it. Not only is the café used for eating but I got to socialize and meet so many other students there too. They have a beautiful pool. The resident advisor program helps you will literally anything you need or have questions about. All maintenance problems were taken care of in a timely fashion. It is such a community environment which was so great for me being fresh out of the home. I never felt alone. here as always someone here. They match you with great roommates that you are most compatible with. There is just so much to say! I knew people who lived on campus and comparing the 2… University Village has SOOO much more to offer it is insane. On top of all of the security and stress free environment, the resident advisors also host events for the residents to attend that are completely free and most of the tme you can win great prizes! What college student wouldn’t want a DVD player or a $ 50 gift card (some of the prizes I saw)? I could keep going but I will let someone else fill in what I missed. Overall, this place is the most bang for your buck, best for college students (freshman to graduate students), and is all around amazing! I strongly recommend applying here cause you will never forget this time of your life :)
