She explains about things very kindly.
Other staffs are always smiling and they are welcome to take care of us.
Greatest dentist

Great location, great atmosphere, modern and high end equipment. I went here earlier this year when they had a promotion for $ 1 teeth cleaning for new comers. Not sure if they still have that promo, but it was nice! The place was very clean and you can tell they use the newest technology in x-​rays and equipment. The dentist who cleaned my teeth was super nice and he told me detailed information about my teeth and gums that other dentists never told me about. He was very kind and explained this slowly so that I understood exactly what the condition of my teeth were and also what I should expect for the future. They gave me some suggestions on some work I could get done on my teeth, but they were never pushy about it. Overall, it was a great experience and I will be going back.

I loved the staff they treated me very well. It’s a must that a dental facility be clean and it was very beautiful thank you !! Will be very pleased if you love great dental care ;)

The manager is so rude. I was talking to her and she just hangs off the phone. She cuts up your words. Super rude. I do not know how they are running there business. So out of order. Most the workers are super rude. Don’t ever go here.

I’ve never been to a dentist like this… Thank god. I have never met such an unprofessional company. All they care about is money. My first time there I witnessed one of the managers talking down on their employees in public which is unacceptable to me, especially in a health care setting. Second, the way they talk to their employees is very demanding and commanding. Very uncomfortable. The health professionals here are good! However the team surrounding the business is horrible…

Depending on the treatment required, you can get to experience THE BEST DENTISTS which I have had the pleasure of «not ever hurting me before, during, nor after, for any of the multiple procedures which i have under went, over the past 2.5 years which I have been frequenting this office !!!

This review is way overdue. I’ll keep it short and sweet I went in for a cleaning they told me I had a cavity. I put down $ 40 towards a deposit to come back and have the cavity fixed. I met a friend of mine who is a dentist and check to see about my cavity before having work done. He told me I do not have a cavity and I am fine…
I came back and asked for a refund very nice front desk gal reviewed my file and told me I’m sorry you sign this paper that says basically after 3 weeks too bad too sad no refunds you can put it towards a teeth cleaning our future services… Hard to trust this place with the initial experience and there business practices.

Just got my 6 month cleaning 2 weeks ago. My hygienist was Iris. She’s really good. Has that soft touch that almost puts you to sleep! See you In 6months UD!

I walked in this office with one thought in mind to do my implants and pay the money, but everything turn sour. I see for the first time the dentist and they make me an appointment for procedure, so I took my two days off from work to recover from surgery, changed around my schedule. But on the day of appointment they told me that procedure was canceled, because the doctor had an «emergency», I was so upset that I came for nothing and I took my days off from work.
Then I decided to give them another chance. Finally they did the procedure and I went home. In three weeks there was no consultation follow up by dentist or stuff, after all it was big surgery. It was very apparent that the only consideration was obtaining money from patients. I was naïve in my thinking that I still decided to stay with them to do the opposite side of the jaw implants, I made appointments two times and each time I changed my schedule and to took days off and last minute they called me all those times and said that doctor has an «emergency» again! They told me some days when doctor will be available, but at that time I was furious and decided to to leave the place. There are other dentist offices around who are open to do business with me, why settle for less! Bottom line they looked like they are in business only for the money who lacked professionalism.

My first and last dentist I will be going. I came to UD dental because my girlfriend told me this place was cheap compare to the regular dentist. Since the rating wasnt too bad I decided to try it out.
When I first came here, they began by providing free xray on the entire teeth. I thought wow this is great! Then as they check the xray they began to point out all the negative aspect including the teeth that I had pain. There was only one teeth I had problem with and my remaining teeth was in perfect condition. After they were looking at the xray for almost 30 minutes. It seemed as if they were looking for more problems. I understand that this is what they do for living but
I only wanted to get my teeth fixed that I had problem with. Not get the entire check on my perfectly working teeth.
After my cavity got carved, they arranged appointment day for my next visit.
Once I came the day of the appointment. They were mentioning the xray again and how they checked up and found some issues. They wanted to start off with another xray. I went to take the xray.
After the xray they were telling me one of my other teeth may possibly be in cavity. It may not hurt now but can be a problem in the future. That is when I got mad. I’m like WTF!!! Are these guys serious? I’m only want my cavity teeth to be fixed. I can worry about that later. The way I see it is that UD Dental tries so hard to make you spend money on the teeth that may not have a problem at all. Now I am doubting whether the teeth that I had surgery was really necessary.
As you already know this is my first review. I really lazy to write review but in this case I thought it would be a great idea to let people know how messed up UD Dentist is.

I live on the Westside, and when I need dental work done, I choose to drive to Fullerton to see Caroline Kang, the Branch Manager of United Dental Group, and her professional team, who are just the best! I have had so much work done in the past four years, and I can not praise them enough. I need to mention that I am highly allergic to the regular anesthesia like Lidocaine, Novocaine and Carbocaine. Caroline, who worked previously in LA, went out of her way to order Marcain for me, the only anesthetic I can use. The entire team is very professional and knowledgeable and truly care for their patients while using the highest technological equipment. Occasionally, they may speak Korean among themselves, but they explain everything very clearly to the patient. The dentist, Dr. Michael Anh, is very gentle, and I experienced no pain at all. Recently, I had three crowns done, and a bridge is being made for me. The lab technician came to my appointment to match the color of my teeth. The three crowns look awesome, and the color is perfect. The temporary bridge was done very carefully by one of the assistants in about 20 minutes. Another plus is that teeth cleaning is free and done very thoroughly. They take insurance, and I never had a problem. I highly recommend them.

My dad got his implant consultation last month. He said that the staff was very welcoming and friendly. His assigned doctor was professional and was able to explain what he needed to get done in detail.
I am also a patient here. As a new patient, the x-​rays and exams were completely free. I got my treatment done a while ago and I am satisfied with my results. It was a good experience overall for my dad and myself.

I have been trying to get someone in billing to help me since January. No one ever responds so I have an outstanding EOB with my insurance but haven’t heard a peep from UnitedDental. VERY frustrating.

Terrible Customer Service! One of the worst places I ever been to. I went in to do a check up. I spoke English the entire time i was there, but some odd reason the front desk assigned me to a non english speaking assistant. I kept telling them i can’t speak korean but they kept insisting speaking in korean. I can understand little bit of korean but not enough to have a conversation. Finally the assistant was fed up with me?!? An English speaker came into translate. after all was done. That Korean assistant cussed me out in Korean. WTF! You are probably wondering how did i understand that. well one of the first things you learn are the cuss words =)

I have always been terribly afraid of the dentist. Most are cold and do not explain what is going on. United Dental has been the best dental experience I have had so far.
Doris is the person that has been in charge of taking care of me and she is wonderful.
Caroline the office manager is extremely pleasant and professional. She was very helpful and understanding when it came to the dreaded part o payment and handled every question that I had.
The office ic lean and very high tech.
Chris the dental hygienist is amazing He took his time and made sure that I was doing ok throughout the whole deep cleaning treatment.
If you are looking for a new dental home this is the place to go.

I had two bad experiences at this dental office. The first time I came here, I went in for a free check up and cleaning. When I arrived at my scheduled appointment, I was asked if I could reschedule because they had a client ahead of me and after they had to close… wow. I received a call later apologizing for the mix up and was offered a free in office whitening treatment to compensate me. However, I had braces at the time and was unable to accept the whitening service. The second time I went in was due to a promotion on livingsocial– Cleaning and teeth whitening. I was told that the hygienist was busy (at my scheduled appt by the way) and would be occupied for an hour so we should whiten my teeth first and clean after. Seemed backwards but ok. Once I finished my 1 hour whitening session, I was in pain. The hygienist stated I shouldn’t have had the whitening service before my cleaning due to sensitivity people may have. I left that day and never returned for my cleaning. The worst part, The whitening service made no difference on my teeth!

My dentist: «I suggest anywhere to get braces but United Dental Group.»
WARNING: LONG POST.
Before my dentist’s warning, I went in for a check-​up because I was interested in getting braces. There was a promotion going on, free x-​rays and check-​up for $ 1. Yup. «ONE DOLLAR.»
When I went in, I waited for good 20 – 30 minutes even with an appointment. It was a saturday afternoon so I wasn’t complaining. Then I was introduced to a consultant named Jasper. I told him I was interested in getting braces so he walked me through all the x-​rays, skull shots, etc. Then I met up with two doctors who basically told me for an open bite (my case), I had to do all the dental works prior to braces (even though I just got my root canal done), and NO invisalign allowed. I was bummed but kept listening to see what they had to offer.
Total price? $ 8,800. $ 2,200 for dental procedures before putting on braces and then the rest. He explained how much it would come out of my own pocket after calculating my insurance co-​pay. It was still alot which made me a little hesitant.
He seemed to very rushed because it seemed that he needed to pick up his daughter/​son from wherever. So I went back home to think about it then he called me back an hour later asking me to come in to. I was nearby so I came in and he offered me to sign up for… CARE CREDIT.
He was telling me how if I paid off in 12 months, there would be no interest and how all medical institutions accept care credit. Now, being 90% sure that I was going to get braces, I signed up because even if not at UD, I would still need the extra financial assistance to help me pay for braces. But HE DID NOT MENTION THAT HE WOULD BE CHARGING ME $ 4,000 (max limit) as I signed the document.
I did set up future appointments but who charges everything without my consent? After I spoke to my dentist, he advised me to not get it done at UD since he knew a lot of people who said negative things about the place. Trusting him more than UD, I called my consultant and told him to cancel all my future appointments because I needed a second opinion (the price, the procedure, everything).
He seemed genuinely pissed and hung up with a simple «OK.»
I went on with my life until this weekend, I got a statement from Care Credit saying that I owe a minimum payment of $ 180. Ok, what? Then I saw that I have a balance of $ 4,000 processed by UD on the same day I signed up for my card.
SHADY. SHADY. SHADY.
Then I got another statement from my insurance company saying that they submitted service fees of $ 650 regarding my oral exam, x-​rays, scaling, and fluoride whatever which he informed me was FREE. Did he charge me TWO WEEKS after I went in because he was pissed that I wasn’t going to get braces there?
I went in this morning to request a refund for a charge that I didn’t even start. I went there ONCE and a balance of $ 4,000? Plus insurance fee of $ 650 ($ 160 co-​pay and the rest on me) The consultant wasn’t there today and boy, he should be lucky he wasn’t.
The branch manager, Caroline, on the other hand, was kind enough to explain that I would be getting a refund after speaking to Jasper tomorrow. She also told me that I didn’t need to pay the remaining balance of $ 500. I had to skip work in the morning to come in for this. I mean, if I knew I was charged $ 4,000 when I signed up, don’t you THINK that I would not cancel my appointments and actually start my braces procedure? And what kind of professional doesn’t inform me on anything like how they’ll be charging my insurance TWO WEEKS after I came in? Even though it doesn’t come out of my own wallet, it still cuts from my yearly allowance.
So shady. I don’t know if I just met the wrong consultant or what…
I learned my lesson for sure. Go to at least 3 different places for comparison. And don’t sign up for care credit. (Google care credit fraud)

Last week, I got my wisdom tooth surgically removed by Dr. Choi. The way my tooth was growing out made the procedure a bit complicated because they had to grind my bone in order to remove it. I was terrified. But Dr. Choi was UNBELIEVABLY QUICK. 15 min was all he needed. I was surprised and it seems he is an incredibly skilled man.
It seems as though other people had bad experiences with service or what not, which is a shame because I was greeted by a very considerate and fast-​paced staff. I was lucky to have the manager greet me while he was on his way out and about through the office, and he made sure my consultant was available for me at my appointment time. He’s really young and wore a pink tie!!!
Anyway, I was lucky to meet a great dentist who executed my wisdom tooth extraction swimmingly when it could easily have been a difficult and dirty procedure. My friend, who was with me that day, got a free check up and cleaning done, too! And it seems like their good with insurance because he ended up paying nothing for a $ 200 whitening: D

I have had infection in my front teeth for over 10 years that just wouldn’t go away even after 2 root canals and 2 gum surgeries. I recently started invisualign and it aggravated my infection to get bigger. (it looked like huge pimples on my gum!) I freaked out and went to see my general dentist who said it might be better to pull my teeth out and get implant! So, I seek root canal specialist and was recommended this place. They were friendly and very caring. First of all, the specialist Steven Park noticed prior root canal job had been done badly. (the good one has one straight root in x ray, not multiple roots) So, he suggest another root canal done to see if it will help get rid of the infection this time. The procedure took more than 2 hours.(i remember my prior root canals been done in less than an hr!) Dr. Park was a perfectionist who took time. He also took several x ray through out the procedure to see if he got the whole thing done clean. I give 5 stars for their excellent knowledge, skills and customer service!
