Gymboree began in 1976 when Joan Barnes, a mother from Marin County, California, tried to find a safe, fun place featuring age-appropriate activities for parents and young children to play together. Unable to do so, she did what any enterprising person would; she started her own program! We’ve been proudly inspiring parents and children ever since.

Been in both programs, Music and the Play and Learn. The music classes are small and great. Good for them to learn words with the music and my son now puts his toys away when I sing the same clean up song. The play and learn is great for motor skills and for him to really get all his energy out. He enjoys exploring all their equipment and the teachers there are very helpful on explaining what to do with them, why, and how it helps. Especially Miss Janice (i’m pretty sure that was her name, will update if i’m wrong).
However, all the teachers there are great and are so kind. It’s great to see that all the teachers are such kind and great people.

We have been attending Gymboree since November of 2014 when my daughter was 8 months old. We had to take a brief hiatus because I was pregnant and it was getting increasingly difficult with a VERY active munchkin. However, we have been back for awhile and my 2 year old LOVES coming here. She has a great time interacting with not only her teacher (s) but with the other children. It’s a great feeling walking in and having the staff know her name and welcome her. She even mimics the class with her little sister at home and sings the songs to her and pretends to do parachute time with blankets. We absolutely LOVE the staff (Ms. Alicia, Ms. Janice, & Ms. Christina are AWESOME — not saying the other teachers are not, but these three instructors have always gone above and BEYOND and are Zoey’s favorite teachers). If you are looking for an activity that your child can engage in and to get some energy out… this is the place.
The onlyyyyy negative thing I would say is that I wish they had more open play gym times and that sometimes, parents bring their kiddos that are sick — which is totally not Gymboree’s fault — so no stars docked!

The only reason I’m not giving this place full stars is because they NEVER ANSWER THE PHONE! I have questions about my membership and my son missed a day last week, but I can’t makeup the class the same week so I just want to ask if he can make it up some other time. But my questions remained unanswered all the time. I also made sure to inquire that I only want to prepay one month and to remind them not to charge my card, but when I called about that last week no one answered.
Other then the poor phone customer service skills, this place certainly has great skills with kids. My son was shy the first class but now he loves it! I would sign up one more month. Still debating. Hopefully they answer the phone soon! Lol

Would give more stars if I could. Gymboree’s various programs are EXCELLENT. And the staff/teachers at this location are outstanding. They offer so many fun activities and experiences throughout the year in addition to the regular classes. It’s definitely worth it!

Parents, I have to recommend this place, especially if your little one is an only child. It may seem a little pricey, but it really is worth it. The kids have fun, they get to run around and have a blast climbing on things, and they get a chance to socialize with other kids and learn how to behave themselves around other people.
My son and I do the «Play & Learn» option — it’s a 45-minute class that meets once a week (or as many times as you want if you pay $ 15 – 20 more per month), and there are activities, but the kids generally get to roam free and be kids for 30 minutes, followed by a few songs with the teacher and some fun with a large parachute. There are normally ten or twelve tots in a class, and that many parents too.
Bring socks for yourself; the little one can go barefoot. Also, if your child is under one year and not walking, I think they have classes for them as well.

Ethan loves Gymboree and all of the friends he has made in class, I started taking him when he was 4 months (he is now 12mo) and i believe that it has really helped with his overall development. The location is clean, the lesson plans are effective and the instructors are friendly and caring, definitely five stars!

My son loves going to Gymboree every week! He is 18 months old and we have been going since he was 3 months old. He especially loves Ms. Janice! I definitely recommend this Gymboree to any parent looking for a great place to take their little one to.

I started taking my daughter to play gym at 6 months (level 2). Initially during the trial class, she loved it but once we signed her up for classes, she was really shy for about 2 weeks since it was a new environment for her and not being used to being around so many people at one time. But as time went on, she opened up and loved the instructors and new friends. She is in level 3 now and hopefully she’ll start walking more often as she sees her friends walking/running around in class.
We love Gymboree and would recommend this location to anyone. Great place to meet other parents and other kids to socialize with in a safe environment.

I’m so happy that I signed up my son for Gymboree! He absolutely loves it, he has been coming for two weeks now. I’ve try to bring him every time during the week for free play so he can interact with kids. It’s the best decision I’ve made I wish I would of started bringing Manny sooner, he is now 21 months and he has a baby sister on the way and I’m totally signing her up as soon as I can!

Baby, Mommy and Daddy LOVE fullerton Gymboree. We have been attending for three months now and see a dramatic difference in our baby girl’s motor and social skills. The activities, songs, playground and toys– it all works to make your little one stronger in different ways. This location is super clean and our teachers our fabulous with great energy and passion to teach. There are also Open Gym times so the kiddos can play with all the equipment. I’ve recommended Gymboree to all the Mommies I know and recommend it to you too!

We have had nothing but positive experiences here. The facility is always very clean and the staff is always so organized and friendly. I love that they work on a different skill set each week. The instructors make each week’s objective very clear as well. Worth the money!

We started coming to this Gymboree back in 2013 when our lil guy was only 6 weeks old and when this Gymboree was still located in La Habra. Fast forward 2 years later, he’s enrolled in ALL of the classes that he’s eligible to enroll in (exactly at the month that he’s eligible for each class): Play & Learn, Music and Art classes. We live 30 mins away from this location (sometimes 45 mins when there are road constructions). And mommy doesn’t like to drive so it’s a big effort for us to get to these classes :)
ALL of the staffs and teachers are kind, friendly, helpful, talented and they even remember my lil guy’s name! It always surprises me that the teachers can remember all of their students’ names. They ALWAYS clean the whole classroom along with all the materials used during the class after it ends. This is very important for us. They’re also punctual and offers numerous different day and time for each class so you have plenty of options to choose from depending on your lil munchkin’s schedule.
With all those being said, who could say that we don’t love this Gymboree? We LOVE Gymboree of Fullerton!
