Instant Imprints OC

This review should have been written weeks ago, but here it is. And be warned, it’s long.
I took two vinyl coach’s jackets to Instant Imprints to get letters done for myself and my little bro. Keep in mind that I got another set done here last year for me and my little sis and they came out nearly perfect. First, I was told that they’d be done by the end of the week which was great because I don’t live locally and it’s hard for me to get out to Fullerton if I don’t have class that day. After about a week and a half, I called to check on the status of my order and was told that they hadn’t started on them yet. A few days later, I got a phone call from the owner telling me that they lost my order form. Don’t they keep that stuff in the computer in case that happens? I finally got a phone call about two weeks after dropping them off that they were ready. I got them back and was in such a hurry that I didn’t inspect them as I normally would have, so it’s my fault I didn’t catch it sooner. However, the night I gave my little his jacket, I discovered all the damage and poor work on mine. His, thankfully, look fairly decent and he was happy with them. Mine, however, look terrible and I’ve only worn them maybe twice. Once, to take pictures in, and once for maybe an hour. The stitching is uneven and coming apart on the sigma, the stitching is coming apart on the embroidery on the sleeve, and there’s serious damage to the top of the shoulder. I would take them back to the store, but, again, I don’t live locally. In addition, they destroyed a pair of letters my big sis got done a few weeks prior to me going and the owner refused to refund the money.
Don’t ever go here unless you want your jackets damaged and the work done so poorly that you’re embarrassed to wear them. It’s a waste of the over $ 100 I spent in total on these jackets. Just don’t go here. Ever.

This place is the absolute worst. I go in with 3 blankets that I want custom letters on as well as 2 jackets I want letters on. Not only did it take them a month and a half for them to finish the letters. They also messed up on the blankets. Two of the blankets had the same Greek letters. They did one correct and messed up the other by not making the letters the correct Greek letters. Obviously I couldn’t give my gift to my friend with the wrong Greek letters on them. I asked them to change it and they said they would try. After another month I got a call saying it was ready. I go in and they didn’t change anything. They forgot they needed to change anything and thought I just forgot to pick up my letters. They also said we can’t fix it. The fabric would just tear is half. At this point I spent over $ 200 at this place and I was incredibly angry. NEVER GO HERE FOR GREEK LETTERS EVER! If you go to Chapman or Cal State Fullerton go to Rowling Heights. A place called Team Uniform does a way better job! Never go here!

Working with Steve is great. We have had Instant Imprints do our company’s work for 2 years now and they never let us down. Their work is fabulous and the pricing is fantastic. I won’t go anywhere else to get our work done.

Came here to correct a mistake that was made on my fiancé ‘s jacket. It was a simple mistake made on the custom embroidery and we were told to just bring it in and they would correct it. Brought it in and was greeted by a friendly employee who told me it would take about an hour. She took my name and number and said she’d call me when it was finished. I told I would just hang out and maybe grab some lunch which I did. An hour and a half goes by with no call so I go in and am greeted by the owner. They hadn’t even started it yet. She proceeds to tell me at that point it would be about another 10 minutes. Another hour later I finally get it. My advice to the business owner is to train your people to give accurate information because I could have just left it and came back the following day instead of wasting my time waiting.

Great customer service and if you need something expedited they will make sure its done!

My Knights of Columbus council had been looking for some quality polo shirts with some rather detailed embroidery. After shopping around for months, I came across Instant Imprints.
I emailed them what I was looking for. Kathy (co-​owner) returned my email almost immediately with a quote and complete specifications on the shirts. She even included a link to the website so I could select the materials and colors and accommodated a last minute addition to the order.
Most places I contacted had a 2 week turnaround time and an absolutely ridiculous setup fees, plus an additional cost per shirt. ($ 45 and up)
Not only did Kathy and her son have a finished product in less than a week, the stitching is perfect and prices were half as much with a quality shirt incluided.
Thank You and we will be sending more business.

The service is great the prices are very competitive. I will continue to use them for all my graphic design material in 2016.

I usually love this place, but lately it has not been the best experience. I first ordered a sweatshirt and had it embroidered and it was done a week late, then I came back for another sweatshirt for a different occasion to have embroidered, and it has been falling apart ever since I picked it up, I took it back to get fixed and it was re done poorly, and then I came back again for another set of jackets, and they changed the due date that I wrote, told me it was done then I came in and they said it wasn’t, came back when they told me to, still not done, came back again, still not done, and received an email that said to come in at 11 to receive my items. And it’s 2:30 and they are still not done.

This place is amazing! I cannot thank them enough for all the times they have came through for me! I first ordered custom shirts for my office and they turned out beautiful and were completed faster than I thought. Secondly I ordered a banner for my sons baseball team; I was stressed that I ordered it too late for opening day. When I spoke to Mallory, she assured me that she could have it done! I was able to chose from 6 proof’s prior to choosing and she took a few ideas I had and made them even better!
They called me when my order was completed, I asked my brother to pick it up and he forgot, so I called and Mallory answered, I asked if she would overnight it to me and I would pay the fees. She then said, «No problem!», and hand delivered to me in Yorba Linda the same day… The quality of the banner is top notch and the customer service from this business is nothing but the best!

Been using Steve the crew at Instant Imprints for a little while now on some marketing materials and shirts. They go above and beyond, even thou I usually give them harsh deadlines on when I need the stuff they always pull through and never disappoint. Thank you Instant Imprints from Antidote Motorsports!

This review is for the business card side of the business, and has ZERO to do with the excellent embroidery they do on the t-​shirt and shirts that I have had made.
I ordered some business cards on 2/​4, and was promised by Kathy that they would they would ready in a couple of days, when I asked when they would be ready.
On 2/​11, I called again, and was again told (this time by Kelsey) that it would take «a couple of days» and that that I would be called when they were ready for pickup.
I find it interesting that it’s taken my local printing store, as of today, a total of 10 days to do what was promised in «a couple of days», and yet I could have done it all via Vistaprint and had the cards by now…
I guess I should have learned my lesson and not paid up front for the business cards, as there is no incentive for them to have produced them in «a couple of days» since they have been paid for the cards already…

Printing and graphic needs have changed so much .this place makes it so easy. we had some baseball shirts made few months back, they turned out very nice

Kathy and her team create a terrific customer service experience! Bulldog, Penelope, is often on hand to greet you at the door with a warm smile, wagging tail, and is always eager for a belly rub.
I brought Instant Imprints OC a rush job. It was an order for 7 printed shirts. One style failed to deliver on time, but they substituted a similar style, kept my original shirt on order and then completed the imprint on that last one. I ended up with 8 quality imprinted shirts for the price of 7. They kept me in the loop and the decision process every step of the way, without drama. Very professional.
Very pleased and plan to use them again… and again.

Was greeted and handled with great customer service, had a rush order to put in for embroidery for 3 sweatshirts with a week notice. Because it was rush I had to pay a $ 60 fee (I was willing to pay anything because of a deadline). I was told I could pick it up as early as the next thursday so I was overjoyed, the woman at the front desk also informed me that because I paid that extra $ 60 I would be prioritized over others expected to pick up that day.
Unfortunately they were not ready as they had planned, but not a big deal because I still had another day until I really had to pick them up.
The highly unfortunate part is that many of my sorority sisters did not have the same experience I did. A sister of mine put in her order TWO weeks before I put mine in and it has been almost three weeks since we had to meet our deadline, THATS OVER A MONTH for two sweatshirts. While she continues to call to check on the status of her items she has been shown only impatience and disrespect. No one should be showing impatience other than my sorority sister that is continuing to fight for a refund and her items back because of something that only took a week for me is taking more than a month for her for no apparent reason.
The professionalism lacks dramatically. If youre going to run a business, create a schedule of how many items you can get done within a time period instead of continuously pushing someone’s order back for weeks and refusing service.
A few other of my sorority sisters are dealing with the same type of service, its safe to say they will no longer be receiving service from our sorority anymore.

I love this place. Very friendly and fast service. I have had a few shirts made with pictures, they came out great. They did exactly what I asked for.

Excellent customer service, from my initial phone call for a quote for some wedding signage, to my visit the next day. They definitely take pride in what they’re doing and great pricing, I called a few other printing services and they couldn’t be beat.
The turn around time was quick and efficient. The response time from the initial order to confirming the proofs through email was quick and responsive.

Amazing! They made my shirts for my bestfriends bachelorette party and they were perfect! And all of the girls loved them! Thank you again Stephen and Kathy! The shirts were beyond perfect!

I was referred here by my friend who also got her stitchings done and so I decided to try this place out. Everything went smooth from the greeting to getting my order put in and the designs laid out on what to get stitched. A couple weeks pass, don’t hear any contact from them until I called. They then told me yea they were ready a few days ago and so I was thinking to myself well I didn’t get an email or a phone call and I know they had my info on file.
So I get to the store and they have them ready so I put them on the table to check them out and I notice its not the correct material and I asked why this is a different material. The response, «We didn’t have any of that material left in the color you requested so we went to Joann’s and bought a different type of material but in the color you requested.» First of all, what?! Why would you use a different material and proceed to stitch it on without consulting your customer? Second of all, why would I accept these? So I ask them to use the correct material (which is out of stock) which took another week or so to get delivered to the store. They warned me that if they unstitch the current letters it may damage the jacket. You can’t DAMAGE my jacket because YOU used the incorrect material. But I wanted the correct material on my jackets so I gave the go ahead to attempt to «fix» it.
The material arrives and then they unstitched my old letters and restitched with the new correct fabric for the letters and when I return to the store this 2^nd time, the letters looked worse than before. You could see where they unstitched the old letters because there were little ripped seams and the new letters didn’t even cover the rips! This is for 2 jackets mind you. I was frustrated and not pleased at all and asked for a refund and since the work had been done already they said they can’t refund the money because I gave the go ahead for all the work. What they could offer me was a free stitching job on two more jackets that I have to bring in.
A couple months go by and I come in to get my complimentary letters stitched and the final product didn’t surprise me one bit. They used the «correct» material this time (thank god) but the stitch work on the sleeves were sloppy so I give up. You guys barely deserve this 2 star because you were given the opportunity to redeem yourselves and you guys didn’t produce. No thanks. Have a splendid time with whatever quality work you want to call this.
