We provide pet sitting in Fullerton, Brea, and Placentia. This includes dog walking and feeding, cat sitting and feeding, and feeding of other small house pets. We also provide house sitting including bringing in your paper and mail, and even watering your plants. We are long standing members of the Fullerton Chamber of Commerce, are licensed and bonded, and are members of Pet Sitters International. We love pets, and have been helping people take care of their dogs and cats since 1985. We are an excellent alternative to the Kennel, and have plenty of local references. Established in 1985.

We have been Dog Sitting and Cat Sitting in the local area since 1985. I live in Fullerton, and only provide service in Fullerton, Placentia, and Brea, so we are always available for your pets needs. We also love walking dogs, as it provides great exercise for your dogs, and keeps them from getting bored. Pets love us, and we love them.

Kathi was great with our Dog Pennie and Cat Tigger! I am so glad I found her especially since we are new to California and really don’t know anyone. It made it so much easier to be gone and knowing they where well taken care of. I got daily updates how they are doing and even pictures. And you had no worries while you are gone.
There is no other person I would recommend to take care of your pet while you are out of town. My dog bonded right away with here. She even took our mail in. She deserves more than just a five star she is absolutely fantastic!

I have used Kathi’s Critter Care for many years now with all my cats kitten age to geriatric. They always do such an excellent job for me and are completely reliable and trustworthy. I always know they will do a superb job with my pets and my house. I can’t recommend them highly enough. When I arrived home last evening it was so nice to be able to just sit down and relax. They had already collected the mail for the day, cleaned the litter boxes, watered my plants, and refilled all the food. I didn’t have to do anything last night except to enjoy my pets, my home, and New Years Eve! Thanks again Kathi for your superb service! My cats love you!

Kathi provides a fantastic service for my dog. Not only is she great with the dog, but she helps out with all aspects of the house. Watering, mail, newspapers, setting the trash out, etc. Kathi is super friendly, and makes going on vacation easy!!!

Kathi was great! My cat Meekah was well taken care of while I was on vacation. I came home to a happy kitty cat. Kathi even played with her each visit. I received updates and pics of Meekah via text too! I highly recommend Kathi. I will not hesitate to call her when I need a cat sitter now.

Over the last 15 years, KCC has been a wonderful asset for our cats comfort and safety while we are away. Daily visits include special feeding requests, playtime and clean up of litter box, feeding area etc. Other requests such as taking in mail and/​or watering plants can be done since they are already there.
They are really very accommodating, you just have to ask.

Kathi provides reliable, safe care for your pets. She is also very experienced and very smart. So she easily manages any unexpected events. In addition, Kathi truly relates to animals. She is the only visitor that our cat has accepted. In fact, our cat comes out to greet Kathi when she visits. (This is absolutely incredible because our cat disappears for hours when anyone else rings the bell.)
I’ve known Kathi for 15 years since I met her at Fullerton Chamber of Commerce meetings. She works hard, doing everything possible to provide outstanding service. I strongly recommend Kathi. She is the best and merits ten stars.

I have used Kathi’s Critter Care to take care of my cats for years. I have found Kathi and her staff to be the consummate professionals. She is punctual about meetings with her customers, and is always willing to go the extra step. Kathi has kept my patio plants alive and thriving during heat waves, brings in the newspapers and Mail if I forget to stop them, calls me if there are any issues while I’m gone, and in general, is very caring. My daughter, who is a vet, has stopped by on occasion when I am gone, reports that the cat box is clean, the feed bowls are full, and that everything is fine. I recommend Kathi’s Critter Care to everyone with absolutely NO reservations!!!

Haiku Review:
High maintenance dog
For well over a decade
We’ve had peace of mind
I need to give a bit more info than can be accommodated in my usual haiku. Kathi and crew have taken care of our menagerie of pets (including the aforementioned pooch… rest his soul) for weeks on end at times. I have never worried knowing that Kathi is quick to get in touch if something arises. The icing on the cake for me was in 2008 following an earthquake that wreaked havoc with our glassware and china cabinet. Kathi’s associate cleaned up the mess (no extra charge) and got in touch with us immediately. We were so thankful that when we returned exhausted from our European excursion we did not have a big mess to deal with. Kathi LOVES critters big and small and offers THE BEST in-​home pet care around!

We have used Kathi and her team for about 5 years. Before I found Kathi, we had used a boarding kennel that was highly regarded. But our dog would come home after being boarded and would be «out of sorts» for several days. But now with our dog able to stay home, he is excited to see us when we get home, but is back to his normal self in minutes. That tells me he has been well taken care of and is very comfortable with his caretakers. We also have an ancient cat (21 years old) and they take great care of her also.

I tried to talk to Kathi today but she was very rude. Even as I introduced myself, she just waved me to go away and she walked away to talk to another person. I tried to just say I’d wait but she just straight up ignored my presence. I will never ever again try to do business with her.

I have hired Kathi’s Critter Care for the last 25 years to take care of my pets and my house. She has taken care of 8 dogs plus several dogs I have fostered. Kathi and her staff have always followed my instructions. They will feed my dogs, pick up the dog poop, change the water in their bowls, play with them and give them their medication. She and her staff will bring in my mail, take the trashcans to the street and clen up any mess that my dogs have created.
There have been times when I have had to leave detailed instructions for Kathi and my requirements have always been followed. Throughout these last 25 years, I have adopted some of the most behaviorally challenging and property destructive dogs. Every one of my dogs has been calm when I have returned home.
Kathi and her staff give me peace of mind. I know I can always trust and rely on Kathi to take care of my beloved pets and to take care of my home. She is a gem!!!

We used Kathi’s Critter for 7 – 8 years, until the recent death of our cat. Kathi and her business partner were reliable and responsive. Rates are reasonable for in-​home care. During our most recent visit, my cat was vomiting blood and Kathi called to let me know. After the cat was stabilized, Kathleen (? I’ve forgotten!) — partner — transported her to my vet without charging me extra. I really appreciated that, as we were out of state. When we returned, the house had been nicely cleaned as well.
I like that appointments can be requested online because I will inevitably remember that I need to book her at 11:30 PM. She’s was also great about accommodating emergency travel plans. She’ll even pull in trash bins and bring in the mail if you ask. We are grateful that her business has been there for us and our pet.
Kathi may not be the person who comes to your house every time. But I believe the same person goes to the house during the same booked day (s) to maintain continuity. Talk to Kathi, and I’m sure she will let you know the details.

We have two small dogs and work long hours. They can’t stay in the yard because 1) they’re spoiled rotten, and 2) they bark like crazy! We found Kathi about four years ago, and she has been walking our dogs every day since! She is a delight to work with! She has never missed a day, is very flexible, and will call or text with updates on a sick dog. She truly loves my dogs, and they love Aunt Kathi!

I have 4 large dogs and one is a puppy. I work long hours and was looking for someone to come in mid day to feed, potty, and play with my babies… Kathi was a great find, reasonable prices, reliable, a true dog lover who understands my concerns for my fur babies when I can’t be home with them. When I text her, she responds immediately and she always let’s me know when something is out of the ordinary. It’s wonderful having peace of mind knowing my pups are in such good hands when I’m at work !!!

Kudos to Kathi! I contacted her only a few days before my trip and she took it from there: took great care of my four pets and kept my outdoor plants alive during a hot spell. As a cat owner, I’m always glad to return home and not find the litter box a disaster. I was appreciative of her ‘no news is good news’ approach because I prefer not to be reminded that I’ve left my babies at home and they are having a great time with the pet sitter! I like her online reservation system too — very convenient. Kathi is terrific and I’ll use her services any time I’m away.

Thank goodness I found Kathi’s Critter Care. The hardest part of going on vacation is leaving my pups behind. But I am comforted in knowing that Kathi and Chris are taking great care of them. I have used their service for several years now and have never had an issue — they follow the instructions I leave them and since the dogs aren’t completely crazy or starving when I get home, I figure that they have been well-​taken care of. Kathi is also great at accommodating last minute scheduling requests. And the first time I called them, Chris came out for free just to meet our dog (only had one at the time) and familiarize himself with what we wanted him to do. Their service ends up being much less expensive than boarding the dogs and I think that it makes our dogs happier and less anxious to stay at home. I would highly recommend their service!
