Recently I was facing a serious felony and two years state prison time, and upon hiring Jimmy Cha, he was able to get a plead to a misdemeanor with no jail time and community service at an organization of my choosing. He seriously cared about my case and was honest and assured he will do his best possible. Recently I was charged with a 2nd DUI offense with an injury to 2 chp officers. I was facing a felony with a possible 3 years sentence in state prison and racking up thousands in fines. After going to more than numerous court dates, Jimmy stayed persistent and assured me he was going to do the best he could. With that being said, he was able to reduce the felony to a misdemeanor, my fees dropped to $ 500, and substituted jail time for house arrest. But due to my own fault in an house arrest violation, I had to go to county which I was later released within 48 hours.
I am very happy to have chosen Jimmy to represent me, because even with the relentless DA on our case he was able to get a deal that was near impossible. I respect that he was thorough and very honest with me when giving advice. He treated me better than just a client and definitely took on my case with much care. Thanks again Jimmy for everything! i would recommend jimmy cha to represent anyone. He was very professional, and also kept me up-​to-​date with my case. Never left me in the dark about my case, but called me weekly to inform me what our game plan was going to be. Also, kept me calm through the whole experience. After being charged with 2 DUIs within 2 weeks of each other in probably the 2 worst jurisdictions of LA County, Jimmy Cha was able to strategically maneuver my cases to misdemeanors and state minimum sentences. His expertise of the law and more importantly what is unique to LA County was able to further reduce my sentence and also save myself a lot of money from penalties, fees and mandatory community service. Even though I had 2 DUIs a lot of the terms of the sentencing seemed like I only had 1 offense. I do not wish anyone to be in a similar situation, but if heaven forbid you are, I strongly recommend Attorney Jimmy Cha. Jimmy Cha is an excellent Lawyer. He has represented me since 2008 till now, he has represented me for not one, not two, but for three dui’s and has proven to me that he has the knowlendge to get what I need out of these cases. He adivse me to do things that has benefited me on my behalf which I am very grateful for. For this last Dui case the DA wanted to give me a year in jail but because it was a car accident and I got injured, Jail was not an option for me. Knowing that I would not get the proper care I needed for recovery. So I did not do any jail time. He has gotten me in a dui court program in lou of jail! After reviewing this program I am very grateful, for it will help me to sober up and continue to be sober throughout this entire program and mainly keep me out of jail!
