History

Established in 1989.

Back in the ‘70s, Tom Scott opened Anaheim-​Fullerton Harley Davidson in Fullerton, CA. With his son Brian, Tom owned and ran that dealership with pride.

23 years ago, Tom Jones purchased Los Angeles Harley-​Davidson and settled it in South Gate, CA. Like Tom Scott, Tom Jones ran a dealership that was an extension of his family, and his sons Kevin and Jeff came on board too.

Fast forward to 2012. Tom Jones had retired and left his son Kevin in charge, and Tom Scott’s retirement plans meant that the merging of two great teams was the best way to continue serving local riders.

After many enjoyable years in L.A., Los Angeles Harley-​Davidson stepped boldly into Orange County to continue to satisfy its loyal patrons from both Los Angeles and Orange County.

Most importantly, though, the dealership continues to be a family.

if you are interested in getting a new or used bike. There’s only one person to talk too. Allen frank ! we bought a bike from him in 1996 a band new heritage. And we were in the market for a new bike we went everywhere in so cal. from San Diego to moorpark and ended up back with Allen Frank, no one could beat his prices, plus he’s a great guy. look around and stop in and see him you wouldn’t be disappointed. Earlier this week I called and asked about a bike that I had my eye one for about two months to see if it was still for sale they said it was so I decided to stop by early this morning to check it out. Before I made the drive out I called and to make sure it was still available they assured me once again it was so I drove out just to see someone driving off the bike when I got to speak to a sales rep they told me the bike was sold the day before. I dont know if there was a misunderstanding but I just hope for future reference there is better communication.

Very straight forward dealership. I shopped around quite a bit, from Orange County, Inland Empire, and even a little beyond. Too many dealers wanted to dance around the questions I had, hide price, etc. Dealt with Dave, and from the get-​go he was true to his word. Even on his day off he worked on my deal. Walked in on Sunday, they had my new bike ready to go, and Erik had all my paperwork drawn up for me very quick. I’m a firm believer in going where they treat you right and this place does just that. It only reinforced my actual buying of a Harley.

Rather than write up some long review that very few people will read I will make this short and to the point.
I want to thank John from LAHD for assisting me, the fact that he helped me outside of their normal business hours shows that he truly cares about his customers. John made it clear that he did not work in the parts department and that no one from the Part Department was around but he would do whatever it takes to make sure he found my part, with some help from Steve in the Service Department they found what I needed and saved our day. If it wasn’t for John going above and beyond my wife and I would have either showed up extremely late or missed an awesome event that we were planning on attending.

Everyone from the sales dept to service to where the clothes are sold were wonderful.
Service fixed my clutch and wheel baring for a very fair price. This is the only place I use to handle my bike’s repairs because they are trustworthy. I had no issue when my bike was returned to me and my music was hooked back up correctly. Hoooray!

This dealership is the friendliest dealer that I have been too. Everyone is very welcoming. They have coffee and donuts for customers and they let you browse without asking if you need help every 10 seconds. Belia is very helpful. This dealer has some cool shirts and good gear. I recommend to stop by on a Sunday. They have a big tv and couches you can sit and watch the game on. Hope this helps

We do not visit LA Harley as much since they moved out here. I’m not particularly fond of the new set up as much and parking is not the best at times. Their clothing selection is not the same, it is very limited, but still got the same group of great parts guys so that’s a plus.

Unfortunately we received a gift card to this Harley Store. When we arrived it was a big disappointment. My husband was looking for a particular shirt. An associate walked by us and asked us if we needed help. My husband asked her if they had the shirt. As she was talking to us she was walking away from us. (If you know the layout of the store, she was ½ way down the stairs as she was talking to us!) She said no, flannels were a October item. My husband said its new on the website. As she was ½ way down the stairs she yelled out «That’s weird «
Me and my husband said why ask if we need help if your not going to help us?
Note, as we were in the Store we called a different harley store, asked for the shirt and they said they would order it for us!
We have a $ 100 gift card to this location and we don’t ever want to come back. Very disappointing.

I just bought a bike from this location. I’m a strait forward guy, so I will keep it simple. My salesman was Andrew McCardell. He was probably the most helpful salesman I have ever dealt with. I typically hate buying a car or bike because of the pain in the ass experience that comes with it. Andrew was highly responsive with his follow up, and most importantly — he and gave me an amazing deal on my Harley. The price was way under book and there was no haggling over the bike like I’ve experienced at other dealers. He got the price to the bare minimum — I did my research to verify this. Nothing against the other salesmen at this location or any other dealership… but knowing this guy is a sure thing is going to save you time and money in the end.

The salesman was great, until after he got the sale and the financing went though. He then didn’t put in a request to service to change the headlight settings that we requested and he also lied about it. As soon as the sales manager got ahold of this, it was done in no time at all and the bike was delivered earlier than planned.
Do not use Andrew as a salesman, use anyone but. Heidi the finance girl, was GREAT!
