Olde Tyme Tattoo

Ok am doing a review like super late, my bad but I came here like on New Year’s Day in like 2014 by Tom. I wanted 3 simple anchor tattoos for personal reasons. And I i was super dramatic when I was getting my tattoo, so I felt bad for him lol but I was really happy with my tattoo and I know other people who have come here and love their tattoos.

What a disappointment! I did a lot of research before choosing Olde Tyme for a cover up tattoo. I was a walk in and spoke with Jordy. He looked at my tattoo and asked for a deposit for him to work on a drawing. We had also set an appointment a few days later for him to do the tattoo. I went in for the appointment, had to wait for him to draw it out, and when he put the stencil on me — disappointed! The work looks like amateur work. I expressed that I would rather him take his time to draw it out and be satisfied. He said he would call me when it was ready. It has been two months. I would NOT recommend this place! Took my deposit, and never followed up!

Totally in love with the tattoo Tom Clark did for me! he was siper friendly and did amazing work! I will definitely come back for my next one!

Well, hats off to Jordy here at Olde Tyme tattoo. he had a difficult task. Not only did he take my son’s idea and create something he couldn’t have even dreamed of. he put his own touch to the art work. thank you Jordy you are an excellent artist and just a nice guy… I will let my son give you his review… thank you i’m telling all my 70’s friends about you and your shop … 5 stars for sure!!! marybeth

I just got my newest tattoo done by Ronnie. I usually drive by Olde Tyme Tattoo since my buddy lives around the area. I’ve been wanting a new tattoo to start off the new year so one day I decided to search up the location on Instagram. I admired the style of Ronnie and I walked in to get a quote and input of a lifeline tattoo I wanted to get done. He was very helpful and understanding. I was pleased that he made time for me to come back in for the session. I brought in the exact lifeline I wanted and he did his part tattooing to my satisfaction. Ill definitely be back. Thanks again Ronnie.

I wanted to surprise my Mom for Christmas by having us go get a mother/​daughter tattoo. I went to here due to the awesome reviews on Unilocal.So glad I did! Tom did an amazing job and made my Mom and I both comfortable. He was able to follow the picture I brought with a few added details as per our request. Thanks again Tom!

I started looking for Tattoo places over a month ago in hopes of finding the perfect place to do a memorial piece for my mom. I checked out Old Tyme because of their 5 star rating with over 100+ reviews. I went in with some pictures and described exactly what I wanted and they suggested that Ronnie do my art. I wanted my whole piece done in one session, knowing that was kind of a large task I was worried they wouldn’t be willing to do it, but they were actually more than willing. We set my appointment for January 5^th and when the day came Ronnie was more than ready. Their shop is so clean and the music they play is so soothing I absolutely felt comfortable in there as opposed to other shops that are pretty intimidating/​rundown. Being that I wanted a portrait I was very worried that it would not come out the way I wanted but Ronnie absolutely nailed it. He has a great eye for art and I’m so thrilled with the final piece. This place is definitely deserving of their 5 stars and I recommend this place to anybody looking for a great quality tattoo at a fair price. This picture I took does not do the piece justice as Ronnie took a much better photo. Hopefully he puts it up on here (: I’m so happy I chose Old Tyme Tattoo, my mom would absolutely love the piece.

From damian. His tattoos are very beautiful and well done. The comments made by Alexandra m are very rude. I don’t think that a tattoo on your index finger is gonna look good no matter who does it. She says to research your artist. She should keep her comments about people to herself. Look at her pics of her tattoos. They all look like they need help. Example the balloon with the ugly lines. Damian is a very established and sought after tattoo artist. I have followed and been tattooed by him for years. He can make your ideas come to life. I recommend him to all my friends and family.

Went to Old Tyme Tattoo with my boyfriend’s mom to get her first tattoo. We came in as walk-​ins and they were happy to let us in. We came in asking for small finger tattoos. She got a Scorpio sign, I got a bobby pin. Small, simple.
Damien tattooed us. My boyfriend’s mom went first. Her tattoo was clean, and very well done, finished in about 5 minutes.
However, when it came to Damien drawing up my bobby pin, he had to draw it up a couple of times after I had to ask him to re-​draw it. Through all of my tattoos I’ve had, I’ve never had to have someone completely re-​draw a tattoo. We got it to a somewhat straight outline and we went away and did it. 15 minutes later, and a ton of heavy handed over-​lining (I’ve had it for about two days now and I can already see the ink bleeding), I had a tattoo of what looked like a sad, crooked bobby pin that looked like it had been run over with a car a couple of times. I have to admit, it’s kind of endearing. Like, it looks like my two year old kid drew it, except I don’t have a kid and an actual tattoo artist drew it. I don’t expect a grown man to know exactly what a bobby pin looks like but maybe he could have used a reference photo? He never asked so I assumed he was familiar.
On top of my wonky finger tattoo, before getting my tattoo done, Damien decided to leave the shop after my boyfriends mom was done to go buy scratchers from 7 – 11 next door. He came back 20 minutes later and asked me to scratch one of his cards for him. Through the many tattoo artists I’ve worked with, none of them have ever given me such lackluster service or product.
Luckily I have this tattoo in a spot where it will likely fade and hopefully I can get it redone, but cheers to my first bad tattoo!

My sisters and I came here in Jan 2015 to get tattoos together. We called a few days in advance asking about the walk in policy. They suggested to come right when doors open so we don’t have to wait. So, we went on a Saturday morning (right when they opened) and waited close to an hour for an artist to come in. There was only 1 guy but was already working on a client. Told him we called and let them know we would be coming. But no one got the memo. Boo.
The 3 of us all got variations of triangles and lines (small). Starting price is $ 80. The artist wasn’t friendly and seemed annoyed (maybe bad morning). But hey, easy $ 260 right there. Once we paid and left a hefty tip (30%), he became another person. It was the first time he smiled all morning and was actually personable.
When we got home and took of the bandage, I realized the lines weren’t even. Disappointed. But, whatever, it was small enough that it didn’t eat away at me. Flash forward to today. All 3 of our tattoos are blurring/​blowing out. Yes, I know blurring isn’t something to be surprised by. But considering it hasn’t even been a year, it’s really sad that it show this much sign of aging. I went to another shop to ask about it and they said it’s because the artist was too heavy handed thus the needle went too deep. Great.
Came here because they have 5 stars on Unilocal and because the work that was posted looked great. But I am genuinely disappointed and have so much regret coming to Olde Tyme Tattoo. My sisters and I are all embarrassed to show our tattoos and actually try to cover them when we go out.

2015 has been filled with more trips to Olde Tyme, probably another 16 hours or so. Ronnie continues to bring my ideas to life and I couldn’t be happier. Eventually I will run out of skin, but until then, Olde Tyme will be my only tattoo stop. Friends don’t let friends get bad tattoos send them to Olde Tyme.

I don’t think I could be more pleased with my experience here. The shop was very clean, and everyone was super nice and made me feel comfortable (a bonus because I was pretty nervous). Jon was really helpful and did an amazing job creating the super fine lines I wanted and my tattoo looks exactly as I hoped, maybe even better. Really really happy and will refer everyone I know to this shop! And if I ever have the itch to get another one myself, this will be the place I go.

Came here randomly on a Monday. I’ve always wanted a tattoo but just didn’t know what to get. I kind of had an idea and when I showed the artist the picture of the tattoo I wanted and he added some shading. The price was average, the artist seemed a little annoyed that I was taking a long time to decide if I wanted to get it or not but whatever. I love my tattoo regardless. Definitely coming back.

After losing my Mother on 3÷11÷15, I visited Old Tyme Tattoo with my Wife to get a memorial piece before I left California for Washington. All I wanted was a small piece, nothing crazy. We were greeted by Jordi O, and he gave me a few minutes to decide what I wanted. I found an idea, and let him put his spin on it. Absolutely great artistry, and amazing shading abilities by Jordi. He did a simple outline of a heart on my Wife’s wrist. Overall a great experience and would recommend them to all.
Clean shop and very friendly. We were very comfortable there as every artist took the time to say hello. Thanks Jordi, Mom would be proud.

Shout out to Ronnie Osuna! Thanks for the awesome tattoo experience, minus the pain. ¹⁵⁄₁₆ years of experience at an affordable rate. Go to Ronnie if you prefer someone kind, softspoken, and down to earth. Awesome human being in general. My tattoo wasnt easy, it requires extreme precision given that its very intricate. However, it turned out so well and beautiful. He’s very talented, has beautiful japanese work.
Love my garter tattoo. I laid there for 4 hours like a champ while it was hurting like a biatch. Given that my garter wrapped around my thigh, the inner thigh was hella painful since its a soft spot. Overall, great experience!

I came into the shop about a month in advance to set a date for the tattoo and finally the day came & I’am beyond happy with the outcome!
I went into the shop on a Sunday afternoon and it was empty with only Jordy working. He showed me the sketch and did the placement on top of my ankle. Right when he was done setting everything up he told me the lay down and just relax.
Since it was my first tattoo I was nervous but Jordy was really patient and took his time on the tattoo. Even before the tattoo session started he suggested to put some color into it and the color really did make it pop. I can’t thank him enough for how awesome it came out to be!

Owner Jon has been working on me almost exclusively for the last few years and once again, I’m thrilled with his work. To have found an artist who I can completely trust with fine line work, placement specifics, and efficiency is well worth the distance travelled… I live in Australia.
The shop has been around for years and continues to maintain an impeccably clean, friendly, and professional atmosphere. It’s no wonder the glowingly positive reviews here on Unilocal are constantly piling up!
