Sav-Mor Discount Thrift Store

This isn’t the best thrift store I’ve been to. It was kind of dirty and the items there weren’t amazing. I ramsacked through woman’s and man’s section and I only found a pair of mom jeans and a black graphic tshirt. The jeans were $ 5 and the shirt was $ 1.19?
I wouldn’t come back here honestly. it wasn’t the best nor the worst but it was just whatever.

this is one of those rough-​around-​the-​edges thrift stores: dark & smelly, your hands get dirty sifting though the racks of clothes that are thrown together in no particular order. tags are stapled on the clothes and sometimes leave holes.
it’s a cross between a thrift store and a swap meet, you know the kind; with random junk thrown on tarps on the ground. but when you find good stuff it feels like an accomplishment, like treasure hunting. and every time i come here and put in some work, i come up with some good stuff. like 4 pairs of dress slacks for under $ 10.
the moral of the story: if you aren’t afraid to get your hands dirty, take an allergy pill (it’s dusty in there too) and dig right in. they take credit cards/​ATM, but it’s a $ 1.00 charge for under $ 10.00. my total came to $ 9 and change, so she rang me up for a $.65 item to bring it to ten dollars, instead of charging a whole dollar for the ATM fee. i thought that was kinda nice.

Good prices. Like most thrift stores, shoppers should carefully check merchandise before purchasing. Sometimes you can hit some good finds.

A pretty gross thrift store, employees didn’t greet me upon walking in. There’s Joy Thrift Store right down the street that is a LOT better quality of stuff and service.
The racks were basically bare it seemed, and what they had was mediocre. Just dirty, a lot of dust/​dirt. Didn’t smell nice. Employees don’t acknowledge you at all, and yet I still felt all their stares when I walked out with nothing as if I’m stealing.
Just a horrible shopping experience, I don’t care how cheap their prices are (I didn’t check), there is better somewhere else. Would NOT recommend.

I LOVE this thrift store! I used to go to the one in santa ana, which is basically the same, BUT this location is much bigger and has a bigger variety of items. I got nike tops, gap work out clothes, winter jackets, free people jeans, and a bunch of basically brand new tops for only $ 30. RVCA, ANALOG, and Vans pants for mens are $ 2-​$ 4. My nike top was $ 3. Yes you have to look for a bit and check everywhere, but it’s definitely worth it. It’s like a hole in the wall for thrift stores, AND they restock every friday and change up the stuff!

This is a classic thrift store, good for those random finds. I found a rooms vacuum for $ 8 it just needed a $ 20 replacement battery. I find all sorts of interesting costume jewelry and k pop CDs. Great prices. The store is pretty dirty though.

Came in today and got 30% off all my items are usually come here for work pants and jeans for my daughter and along the way you’ll find some good nick nacks I can also find good jackets for her I think that this store is way better than the Santa Ana store you can always find good he’s here happy shopping people happy sav-​mor

I first started shopping at Sav Mor when there was one in Hawaiian Gardens near my house in Long Beach. This location closed in December (NOOOOOO!!!) so I set out to find a new favorite thrift store. Went to the location in Santa Ana and it was ok. (For us, it wasn’t very easy to get to and not a great neighborhood.)
Then we found the location in Fullerton (YAY!) right off the 91 freeway. If it’s clothing you’re after, look no further! Great items at dirt cheap prices. This store is not as organized as the one in Hawaiian Gardens was but it’s definitely worth going to and digging for treasure. There is a book section and some household items and furniture, but this location has mostly clothing.
Today we bought:
2 pairs of pants
3 pairs of jeans
Set of 4 DVDs
5 sweatshirts
3 sweaters
1 (brand new) stuffed Monster’s Inc doll
1 stainless steel water bottle (again, new)
2 Hawaiian shirts
Our total…$ 51.25.
We usually get out of there for less but splurged today in the «Better Clothing» department. Still a steal in my book!

No one greeted me, just stared at me like i was a thief? Saw a lady who worked there and went to ask her a question, she saw me coming toward her so she walked the other way??? No customer service. Asked her if they had restrooms and she stared blankly at me for the longest time? Then she said, «restroom? No.» And i even asked in spanish.
This place doesn’t have much, lots of clothes but I couldn’t seem to find any structure. Looking for a simple dress and i’m lost. I can’t even ask anyone cause they’ll just stare at me. Drove here for nothing.

I visited this thrift store for the first time earlier this week. The prices for their items are very cheap. However, to find something that is of quality can take some time. I walked away with two good t-​shirts and a vinyl record for under $ 6.
The store is a little dirty and the dressing rooms should be replaced because they are falling apart. This store accepts debit and credit cards but if purchases are under $ 10, you will be charged an extra $ 1.

I prefer the Hawaiian gardens location. This place is full of garbage (customers, employees, and merchandise.) I loved it the first couple times i visited but have had one too many bad experiences here. I don’t want to blame it on social media but it got a hipster feature on some blog and it’s been garbage since then. So overpriced, messy, picked over and disorganized. Just bad.

I have been coming here for years. The prices are amazing. Most clothing is anywhere from 2 – 5 dollars, can’t really beat that! A lot of thrift stores, like Savers and Goodwill have forgotten that they are selling second hand clothing aka USED clothes, their prices are ridiculous !! This place could definitely use a little more organization but I don’t mind looking through their racks. I’ve found great pieces! Little side note, although they have «new» merchandise daily. I’ve had the best luck finding better quality clothing on Fridays ;)

Beat thrift store around! You really have to be willing to sort through things but I’ve found some amazing treasures there. Never leave without spending at least $ 12. And everything is sooooo cheep!!!

Tiny selection of used books but a good amount of clothing here to choose from. It’s a bit disorganized and there’s a «thrift store smell» but it’s manageable.
Next to A.R. Mart. Parking can get packed here. $ 1 fee is under $ 10 purchase.

I’ve been a customer of this thrift store ever since they were the Lincoln Thrift Store. They used to be located at Lincoln-​Brookhurst. Even with their smaller location then, I can manage to find good deals. I got a DKNY and Guess jeans, Bebe skirt and a Michael Kors blazer for about 4 – 8 dollars each.
This current location is a lot bigger, more aisles and more payment options. I don’t find their store any more disorganized compared to other thrift stores. It’s a thrift store, not Macy’s. I can honestly say the staff organizes everything properly, some customers just enjoy returning clothes to aisles where they don’t belong. Also, their prices are a lot cheaper on other thrift stores. Versus Savers and Goodwill, I like how their prices are for thrift stores, not Wal-​Mart or Target. You’re buying a second hand item, it should be priced like one.
I always shop for old dresses and big sizes that I can alter to fit me, as well as clothes my size. For those handy with a sewing machine, you’ll absolutely enjoy this place. It’s like alteration paradise. There are a lot of items, skirts and dresses, that have beautiful pattern, clean and barely used but are priced for 99c because they’re old school. I always get something good every time I come. Just can’t get enough of this place! Even my boyfriend and his mom got hooked too.

They have sales on most holidays, sometimes 50% off 3 colors or 30% offs everything
Parking can be crowded on sale days so arrive early
They have senior discount, I think on Mondays
You can always call and ask if they have a sale

I came here for baby clothes. Unfortunately, the baby clothing area is pretty disorganized. Boys’ and girls’ clothing are all mixed together, and sizes from newborn to 4t all jumbled together on a rack without much rhyme or reason. The clothing is sort of grouped by type… I say sort of because it was two or three areas of t-​shirts and onesies, spaced apart by small sections of pants, overalls, pajamas. Most items are in fair condition. I didn’t find many things that were in like-​new or good condition. Fortunately, items are priced fairly for said condition (you hear that, Goodwill and ARC?) at 59 cents to $ 1.19 for most items.
My main beef with the store is the fact that the price tags are stapled onto the garment with not one but two staples. When removing the price tags, no matter how carefully I tried to do it, holes were left in, even after washing. Because the tag was stapled to the collar of the shirt, it’s kind of conspicuous. I’d be ok if it were jeans, but I don’t want to buy clothing that’s already got holes ripped in it!
In addition, the prices are handwritten with a fat red crayon. I’m pretty sure a kindergartner has neater handwriting than whoever wrote those tags. I couldn’t tell what the price was on many items.
Anyway, parking was good and employees kind. If I were in charge of this store, I’d get some price tag makers. I’d also separate the baby clothing first into girl/​boy, and then into sizes. It’s a hot mess until they do.

I have passed by so many times so I finally decided to give it a try. First impression? It’s pretty big! I quickly went to the woman’s section and looked for dresses.
First of all the selection was HUGE! I usually go to thrift stores, look for a dress and leave empty handed. Here however, I had a huge section to look over.
Unfortunately they are not organized by size, or at least color. So you really do have to look.
I would have given them a two, had it not been for the selection and good prices because the dressing room was absurd.
Here I am, so excited that I have at least 15 dresses to try on when I see the gray small shacks they call the dressing room. It was small and worst of all there are NO MIRRORS in the room. So you have to get out of the little 4X4 room and waltz in front of a lot of customers and see what you have on by looking at this little narrow mirror. I was honestly upset because first of all, I do not have the confidence to come out in something that may look horrible on me. Second of all, sometimes the outfit may be see-​through and you try it on anyways to see how it fits. How am I supposed to leave my dressing room and come out exposed to the entire half of the store? Sorry for the rant– but like I said earlier, I would have given them a two had it not been for the huge selection. Other than that, how am I supposed to enjoy the huge selection of clothes when I can’t comfortably try them on???
