I am so happy we decided to use Shutterbooth at our wedding. Leading up to the wedding, they were continuously communicating with me and working with me on our photo booth design. I LOVED the gold glitter background. It was fantastic and made our pictures so much fun. The team working the photo booth was professional and fun. We got our album immediately, which was so fun to look at when we got home from our honeymoon. We also got a link so we could download all of the pictures. They were great.

These guys were great, great, great for our son’s bar mitzvah in August 2015. They quickly responded to my first email; were very easy to work with on the particulars of our event; they worked seamlessly with our venue in South Redondo Beach, CA; showed up on time; and were completely professional (and patient!) with our gang of kids and adults who act like kids.
So impressed that we made our inquiry just 4 – 5 weeks prior to the event, and everything went off without a hitch. Our guests had so much fun, and the birthday boy was so happy with the props and costumes.
The open booth worked extremely well. .. I was leaning toward something more closed in, but the open booth was perfect for our group.

Christine N. was our «client manager» on site. She was awesome.

ShutterBooth was so wonderful to work with… Dawn and Christine are awesome! Our event was a charity fundraiser, where we honored the retiring president of a university. Our guests had a blast and the presentation book presented to our honoree with all the photos at the end of the event really added that special, memorable touch to the night! This was so much fun for my wedding. I know a lot of people are saying that photo booths are overdone but tell that to someone that has a bunch of fun pictures of all of their guests to look at (and laugh at) for years to come. Shutterbooth has the best quality pictures and prints I have encountered since photobooths became a big deal. They are well worth the money they charge and the attendant was wonderful!

Shutterbooth handled the photobooth at our wedding in August 2014 and they were great! The props were fun and clean. The attendant was professional and did a great job creating a guest (scrap) book for us that we took home at the end of the night. We had also ordered bookmarks that the photos go into as the wedding favor, and the team tied purple and champagne ribbons on for us – the guests loved them! We also got a CD with all the individual photos and the photo strips, and guests had access to the photos online, too. Cheryl and Sommer were great to work with through the planning process. They were responsive to questions. I saw a demo at a bridal show in 2013 and the services were so much better than the other photobooths I had seen at bridal shows or other weddings – the quality of the set up and the photos themselves are great. They even help you design the logo that will appear on the photo strips. These are really great quality photos and everyone had a ton of fun. I highly recommend Shutterbooth for your wedding or other event!

Whenever the conversation of our wedding comes up, one of the first things people mention is «We LOVED the photo booth!» We even have pictures of the long line of excited guests lined up and waiting. With the magic of the photo booth, even our guests who we would consider, «serious» showed their silly side all decked out in fun masks, hats, and props! Whenever we go to a friend’s house, we can guarantee to see a photo strip from the wedding on their fridge too! Also, having a copy of all the pictures on a CD in addition to the photo album they made for us is really nice. Thanks ShutterBooth!

I had my wedding back in October 2010. I used Shutterbooth and they were amazing! They brought props according to my wedding colors (pink, purple and white) it is extra but so worth it for the memories. The two girls who came were so professional and nice. They interacted with my guests and I opted to get the scrapbook which they prepared there. It is also an extra cost but so worth it since my photographer went out of business so it took months to get my pictures from them. I got to look at the scrapbook to remember the night until I was able to get my photos. I would highly recommend Shutterbooth and have used them again since my wedding!

We used Shutterbooth for our wedding in May and EVERYBODY loved it. The staff was great and the props they provided were awesome. They were so very nice from the moment we e-​mailed them Cheryl was so great and responsive and set up an appointment right away for us. I would highly recommend them for any event!

From the very beginning stages to my event date, Cheryl and Sommer were prompt in communication and showed the utmost professionalism. ShutterBooth’s own designer even worked with me to custom design my grid layout, incorporating styles from my wedding invitation which turned out beautifully. The photobooth attendants were punctual and efficient in setting up at our venue. In addition, I had the complete DVD of all my event’s photos shipped to me before I even came back from my honeymoon!
So, why 4 stars? While I understand the layout of a wedding venue is important to the execution of the photobooth, there are certain actions to take when you observe the lack of guests approaching the booth during an event. Our wedding venue was set up in a way where we had to place the photobooth outside of the reception room, in a separate room by the dinner buffet. The photobooth was up and operating from cocktail hour with signage and everything. I didn’t get a chance to see the photobooth until the end of the night (it was non-​operating during dinnertime, as requested, and I hadn’t observed its placement through all the hubbub) and when I saw where it was I was shocked — it was waaaaay in the back corner, in the dark, with the attendant sitting down. I knew a lot of guests would not have been able to see it — I was so bummed! My point was proven as I looked at my guest book and saw that not even half of our guests had taken part in the photobooth. After our event, I found out most guests weren’t aware it was there.
Ultimately, I would like to think this may have been an error with the wedding coordinator or venue coordinator directing the placement of the photobooth, but in the end I feel like the attendant should have known through the lack of guests flowing through that they should have moved and made an effort to be more visible. Moving it from one corner to the other would have made a huge difference. Also, the attendant could have stood up and reeled in guests by showing some excitement/​personality.
I would still recommend ShutterBooth for their services, but with the note to verify placement at your venue in addition to the other details.

Booking the event was easy, the attendant was on time and very courteous. The graphic design logos were great, the photos looked great and everyone had a good time. We laugh everytime… we look at the photos. They also give you your photos in a stylish cool. We had a great experience with Shutterbooth!!!

We hired Shutterbooth for our wedding and we were very happy about our decision! Cheryl and Sommer were very easy to work with and they were very accommodating of our venue (my parents’ home). We got the sparkly gold open backdrop, which looked AMAZING as the background for our photos.
They put together an album of all the copies of the photos for us, and had our guests sign next to their photos. It was such a great thing to have when we got back from our honeymoon. We loved seeing our guests have so much fun with the props and with their poses! They also gave us a DVD of all the photos taken at the booth all night. They made sure to get my groom and me in for a picture as well.
Everything went very well at our event, and we are so grateful to Shutterbooth for that!

I had contacted SoCal ShutterBooth early in the planning process and they were at the top of my list until my (then) fiancé found another company that was less expensive (not by much). Long story short, I had to drop the less expensive company after a few red flags were thrown in my face. SoCal ShutterBooth to the rescue! I emailed the person I had previously been in contact with and received a reply from Cheryl because my original contact was no longer working in the office. My date was still available (hallelujah) and we got the ball rolling immediately. Cheryl was on top of emails and phone calls even when she was crazy busy. The two ShutterHosts at our wedding we wonderful! I would definitely use them again if the opportunity presents itself. Thank you SoCal ShutterBooth for saving the day!

The pictures and booth were top quality. The staff day of was great. They really made sure everything went well. I loved getting the scrapbook at the end of the evening. I also loved getting the DVD a few days after the wedding. I definitely recommend shutterbooth!

We found SoCal ShutterBooth at the Brea Bridal Show in Orange County, CA. SoCal ShutterBooth definitely stood out from the rest of the photo booth vendors with their well presented variety of props, awesome scrapbooks enthusiastic staff making the experience a great one. I was FORTUNATE to WIN their 50% off raffle, enabling my fiancé and myself the opportunity to have the ShutterBooth at our wedding.
ALL our guest had blast being silly with the props and taking endless photos the entire night. The BEST part was receiving our scrapbook at the end of night with all the photos our guest had taken. My company has used SoCal Shutterbooth for two consecutive years and absolutely LOVED their services. It was very easy to work with Shutterbooth to get everything planned before the event. Guests had a great time getting to try the different props in the booth. The attendants were attentive and friendly. We had the option of getting the digital copies of all photos taken after the event, which was offered fairly quickly after the actual event date. I would highly recommend this company for their fast and friendly service, and their dedication to create a fun event.

We met Sommer and Cheryl at a bridal show in Orange County, CA. They were very professional from that start, grabbing our attention with their amazing looking scrapbooks! Since they were the first photo booth vendor we met with, we decided to continue to look around and compare prices.
We got to see the performance of different photo booth vendors since we attended about 6 weddings prior to our own! What we noticed was that most of the photo booth vendors also offer the scrapbook option, but the execution of it was pretty bad! The number of photostrips to make it to the scrapbook was minimal and the décor was poor. Although those vendors offered a good deal on their photo booths, we know quality when we see it and decided to contact SoCal Shutterbooth right away!
What is great about SoCal Shutterbooth is that they have a separate attendant to put the scrapbook together– which means you are guaranteed to have ALL of your photos present in your scrapbook! Not only that, they have some amazing scrapbook materials to make every page beautiful! The scrapbook is ready at the end of the night and it was definitely fun to look at everyone’s photos! (I cannot remember if this cost extra, but it was completely worth it!)
Other than the scrapbook, their photo booth is nice, clean, easy to use and the photo quality is great. The pictures can be printed in color, sepia or black and white.
SoCal Shutterbooth was definitely worth the investment to ensure quality service and photos! If I ever need a photo booth again, I would book them again! Thanks Sommer and Cheryl!!! :)

We booked SoCal Shutterbooth for our wedding and it turned out great! The photo quality was surprisingly good and crisp and I liked that they offered both the 2×2 square and the photo strip (we went with 2×2). Your guests also have the option of picking colored photos or B&W. The custom logo that we helped design turned out great on the photo strips as well.
Sommer was our main liaison with SoCal Shutterbooth and she was a pleasure to work with. We went with their basic package and customized it to include what we wanted and that was super convenient. For example, it was more important to me that we have custom logos on the photos (as we were using these as one of our wedding favors essentially) than to have their box of props and Sommer swapped this out for us with no issues or hassle. Sommer went above and beyond her scope of work to coordinate with our venue to make sure the booth would be in a nice place and all insurance issues were taken care of. She also did her best to work with our budget and to give us the most bang for our buck.
On the day of, I was pleasantly surprised to find two attendants for our photo booth. They were able to direct my guests to the props we provided and make sure everything ran smoothly. The booth itself was actually pretty attractive, not like the ugly garish ones you see online and the simple black design blended in with the venue and the wedding décor quite nicely. It was important to me that the photo booth didn’t clash with the décor at the venue.
The only thing I would’ve wanted to «change» would be that there was no seating inside the photo booth (at least when the two of us were in there) and the monitor/​camera felt like it was situated at a height where it would’ve been more helpful with a chair/​bench/​anything. That said, we didn’t get any complaints/​feedback from our guests about the lack of benches, so apparently it didn’t bother anyone but us.
Overall, we are super happy we booked a photo booth from SoCal Shutterbooth and would recommend it for any wedding, assuming you have the money and the space. We loved going through the online album and laughing at all of the photos taken by our guests. Even our more conservative guests had a great time in there. I would also recommend getting props for your guests as we had a lot of people use the ones we provided.

SoCal Shutterbooth was one of our favorite vendors to work with for our wedding. It was consistently easy to work with them and communicate with them from booking them a year before my wedding, the actual wedding AND after! I was really pleased with how helpful Cheryl was throughout the entire process — even when I had a little bit of trouble with my logo which she promptly took time to fix herself. I couldn’t have been more thankful for that especially since it was the week of the wedding. They truly want everything to run smoothly for brides and care about how happy you are with the experience.
As for the booth itself, it’s fabulous! Our guests had a blast taking photos at our wedding and everything ran smoothly throughout the whole night. The attendants were professional and fun. We had no problems whatsoever.
And you can’t help but love the fact that the CD with all the pictures from my wedding arrived on my doorstep within 2 weeks after the wedding! No denying Shutterbooth is efficient and professional. I wish I can use them for every party I have!
