Target Clinic

Horrible. I get my depo shot at Kasier, but due to my new work schedule is can’t. I called to see if I could do it here. My Dr. Wrote the prescription, I went it and they wouldn’t honor it. Said I had to get a pregnancy test and then the NP would review birth control options with me. I don’t need all of that, so you can charge me extra? I’ve been a KP member my whole like. I’m well aware that they can’t pull up records electronically, that’s why I brought paper copies with me and they wouldn’t honor it. Total waste of my time.

I went in on November 2015 because I laid down my motorcycle. My injuries were minor but because of the amount of road rash I was told to get a tetanus shot. The lady with Kaiser told me that this Target Clinic could take care of me. When I got there I had insurance and I was also still under my dads insurance and I was told that if I provide both information I won’t have to pay anything. So the lady at the desk was nice but the doctor was very rude. She made it seem as if I was an inconvenience. Keep in mind I had obvious wounds. She patched me up, gave me a shot, gave me a flu shot since I was there and that was about it. I had to go to the Target pharmacy to buy my own finger brace. Here we are five months later and I’m getting a couple hundred dollar bill. I had several other doctor appointments since then and have been covered by my insurance. This Target Clinic didn’t handle my insurance information properly and now I am being charged. My fault was not keeping the paperwork cause I had no way to dispute it

They told me my insurance will cover the flu shot then got a bill for $ 50 a month later.

My visit to this clinic was a waste of time. Before I filled anything out, the nurse practitioner asked me about my symptoms. I told her the symptoms and she said I believe we can treat you. So, I filled out all the typical patient information forms and answered all the questions that the assistant asked me. Was put into a room and when the nurse shows up, she said «I am sorry but I think it is best if you schedule an appointment with your regular physician». I was like WHAT! They wasted 35 minutes of my time and I will never go back to this place again. Very unprofessional and unorganized.
I really don’t see a bright future for this clinic.

How awesome is this… a clinic inside target!!! There were 4 people waiting to be seen and they give you a buzzer so that you can conveniently shop and come back to the exam room to be seen. They take kaiser permanente and other types of insurances. If you need a prescription you can use the one at target. Unfortunately they do not have the computer based system (health connect) to pull up your medical information from KP electronic records as of yet. Wait time from walk-​in to leaving the clinic took me approx 1 hour. Beats your typical urgent care center.

this is fabulous!!! in n out within 30 mins with a NP. we rcvd the same quality check up as we normally do at our kaiser urgent care… i highly recommend takin advantage of this small n very personal clinic… BTW: they also accept non kaiser members!!!

i noticed a billboard for a TARGET CLINIC «Serving All» while driving down beach blvd in la habra and seeing as i was staying with family away from my hometown, where my current primary dr is, i thought i would give it a shot. the billboard also had the kaiser logo on it, and i have kaiser insurance, so i was hoping it would be an easy and fast process, and i was SO RIGHT, thankgoodness! i looked up the clinic location online (not ALL target centers have clinics) and it’s a walk-​in only situation. walked right in, gave my kaiser card (you don’t have to have kaiser — if you don’t it’s something like $ 60 to see a kaiser dr., if you do it’s whatever your regular kaiser co-​pay is). i had to fill out a questionaire on an ipad and when i was done the wait was about 5 mins before i saw a dr. i was told i had a bad sinus infection, inflamed ear (possible oncoming ear infection) and a fever. got 3 rx’s and was able to get them filled right there at the target pharmacy. the whole process was about 45 mins long inc’ing the wait for my rx’s.
i will MOST DEFINITELY return if need be. this was such an awesome experience with a wonderful kaiser doctor who had amazing bedside manner.
