We are a mobile instant photo booth located inside a restored 1974 Volkswagen bus. A fun, fresh and exciting take on having a photo booth at your event!

History

Established in 2014.

We’re The Mooneys. Wedding photographers for The Rock Studio, managers of The Picture Bus and brand-​spanking-​Newlyweds. We got married in March 2013. Not wanting just the traditional wedding stuff, we hired an incredible local ice cream man to drive up in his vintage truck during our wedding reception and let our guests choose their favorite cold treats.

After our wedding we chatted about how we wished that the photo booth we hired had created the buzz and impact that our ice cream truck surprise did. When we read some incredible stories of other photographers bringing photo booth joy to the masses via restored Volkswagen Buses, we were instantly inspired. Just 24 hours after reading about these other businesses we went bus shopping for ourselves. We might have been a little excited.

We’re thrilled to be bringing this fun service to Orange County and Los Angeles. We hope you’ll consider using The Picture Bus for your next event and will share us with your friends and family.

Manager

Travis has worked as a professional photographer specializing in weddings, events and portraits for the last 2 years. He and his wife Katie are the owners and lead photographers for The Rock Studio. While we consider Travis a jack-​of-​all trades when it comes to The Picture Bus, you can most often find him working on the mechanical side of things. Packages are available combining The Rock Studio’s photography services with The Picture Bus services at a discounted rate.
