The Rabbit Hole

The first time coming to The Rabbit Hole and it was a horrible experience. The security did not allow one of my guest to enter and discriminated against him due to his weight! Grateful Havana House is right across the street which accommodated us with friendly staff. It was a more at ease and fun environment at Havana House!!!

I’m really all for small businesses, because I usually love their freedom for creativity and their ability to go above and beyond for their customers; however, I was a little disappointed with The Rabbit Hole. The concept is great, and they seem to be very talented with paper; however, I think I’ve simply had terrible luck with them. The first time I used their services, I had a banner and two balloon bouquets made for a jungle themed baby shower that I was throwing for my cousin. The balloon bouquets turned out great and matched my theme perfectly, but the lettering for my banner was not visible in the daylight. This was a little disappointing because I hung it by the pool, and it just looked cluttered. From afar, I couldn’t read the banner because it was made with a lime green paper. I emailed Sarah following the event, and she kindly offered 15% off my next service with them. Unfortunately, Sarah is no longer working here. This was in October of 2013.
Recently for my Dad’s birthday, I emailed The Rabbit Hole again for the same services, a banner and two balloon bouquets. This time I worked with Pricilla. While on my way to their location, I called Pricilla to tell her I was running about 10 minutes late, and she tells me that she ran out of helium for the balloons and that she was only able to inflate one balloon. Keep in mind that this is literally 10 – 15 minutes before I was supposed to arrive to pick up the balloons. Initially, I freaked out a little, but I decided to find a solution rather than dwell on the fact that I had no balloons for my party. I arrived, and the banner she made turned out perfectly, but no balloons. She ended up charging me $ 5-​$ 10 for all of the uninflated balloons (I can’t remember) and she recommended that I go to Party City to have them inflated. Of course she insisted that I did not have to take the balloons, but what was I supposed to do? I had a very strict schedule to follow before my guests were to arrive for the party. I drove over to Party City, and I paid $ 15 to have the balloons inflated, but they turned out horrible. One of the balloons would not rise properly after attaching the tassel that Priscilla had given me to attach, and it was just a horrible mess. I ended up having to discard all of the balloons.
Overall, it was a giant waste of my time. I do not understand why Priscilla was not more prepared with helium, especially when she knew she had a balloon order. I’m not entirely sure what type of business she’s trying to run. I always try to give businesses a second chance when I have a bad experience, and I am sad to say that I was extremely disappointed with this one. They do decent work, but when it comes to parties, I can’t risk having unreliable services.

This review is for a gender reveal box that my husband got from The Rabbit Hole in December 2012. My husband and I were expecting our first baby in May 2013 and after looking on Pinterest, I wanted to do a gender reveal box instead of a gender reveal cake (where you cut the cake and it’s pink or blue inside). I saw some cute boxes on Pinterest and was going to try to DIY and get balloons but my husband went and got it done from the girls at The Rabbit Hole. He found them through one of our friends who is a florist.
Unbeknownst to me, when he came home with the box, I was AMAZED and WOWED by how pretty the box was! (I thought he was just going to get the box and put balloons in it.) It looked way better than anything I could have DIYed or anything I saw on Pinterest! It made the gender reveal so much more special and memorable because of how wonderful it looked.
And after reading the reviews on here about how they do rentals for first birthday parties, I will probably come here to get that stuff for my child’s birthday next year!

I just found another reason to love my hometown Fullerton!!! I was on the brink of despair looking for classy and whimsical and pinterest worthy deco for my gf’s bridal shower which is tomorrow!(I searched high and low in FOUR different party supply stores, where have you been all my life Rabbit Hole??). On such short notice, Priscilla, one of the owners, assured me she could do the beautiful round balloons and banners. Hannah, who was working at the store was also quite helpful and pretty! I wish I knew about this place before I went to those horrific Party City/​supply stores. Definitely giving them a 5 for originality, class and wonderful customer service, will be coming back for more!!! posting pictures tomorrow :)

I rented a pink backdrop, framed name, and the korean bean towers. The head table looked amazing! Also Sarah helped to make the rentals happen on short notice, and helped change the order about 10 times! I am definitely going to use them again for my next event!

I had lots of ideas for my daughter’s first birthday but to buy and try to make everything didn’t sit well with me. A friend told me about The Rabbit Hole and I am so thankful she did! They not only had everything I needed for my party, but they even made the DIY projects. I now know where to go for any party supplies or ideas that I can’t make. Thank you ladies!

Our church was hosting our annual Christmas banquet and we were referred to The Rabbit Hole by one of our members. Let me just say that we were not disappointed.
First of all, the display for the candy/​snack bar was so beautifully done that people didn’t want to even touch it at first! They did such an amazing job matching the colors and display to our theme. Service was top notch and for the kind of display that we ended up getting, the pricing was fantastic! I was so satisfied with their services that we hired them again to the head table for our son’s 1^st birthday.

Swing by my friend’s shop, located at Ameridge Heights, for it is beautifully decorated which reflects the style of the owners. I rented a backdrop and frame to place behind the head table for my son’s party. For a TOTALLY reasonable price you can rent a 6, 9 or 12′ frame. They also rent out fabric for the backdrop.
At first I had requested a particular color but they sent the wrong size. They were quick to send the correct size and it matched perfectly with my theme. I would TOTALLY rent from them again and recommend them.
They also have party packs, dessert table packages and candy bar packages! If you need cute cards check em out.

I’ve waited so long for such a store to open in North OC – I couldn’t have ask for anything more!
The Rabbit Hole has everything to make your party the talk of the town. Any event from bridal showers, baby showers, birthday parties, dog parties, tea parties… it has it all! But it’s also perfect for finding gifts for all your picky girlfriends. It carries a variety of beautiful letterpress cards, and my favorite, divine twine.
The petite store is chock full of wondrous goodies; last time I was in here, I spent an hour squealing over all the unique delights!
It also carries beautiful, fancy, and delicate cake/​cupcake stands so even if you’re throwing a more classy party, you’ll find all your needs here. Oh my, and even their assortments of cake toppers/candles…I’m dreaming about those little treasures now.
Be warned; you’ll want to instagram and pinterest everything you see.
To top it off, the owners are incredibly sweet and helpful! They have really great ideas on how to make your party become blog-​worthy. So even if you don’t have a clue as how to host your next soirée, walk on in!
