Caring for families since 1950, Johnson Optometric Associates, P.A. has been voted the best optometry practice in southeast Wake County. Specializing in adult, geriatric, and pediatric eye care. We also treat glaucoma and other eye diseases, offer emergency services, contact lens fitting and follow-​up care.

Dr. Bob J.

Business Owner

Dr. Robert Johnson, is originally from Fuquay-​Varina, NC. He graduated from North Carolina State University in 1972 and went on to graduate from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 1976.

Dr. Rick Hartman is originally from Reading, Pennsylvania. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Albright College and his Doctor of Optometry from Pennsylvania College of Optometry.

Dr. Robert Hammond is originally from Alliance, Ohio. He graduated from the Ohio State University College of Optometry in 1983.

Dr. Andrew May grew up in Dallas, Texas and Birmingham, Alabama. Dr. May graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2004. He received his Doctor of Optometry from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry in 2009.

Dr. Barrett Martin grew up in Willow Springs, NC. He attended Wake Christian Academy and earned his undergraduate degree at Barton College. He attended the University of Alabama School of Optometry.
