Established in 2011.

I have been a licensed attorney since 1990 and have concentrated in the area of consumer bankruptcy law for over 20 years. I formed the firm of Bond, Botes & Handy, P.C. in 2011 where I continue to concentrate in bankruptcy law along with collection lawsuit defense, fair debt collection practices and fair debt reporting practices.

Business Owner

Carla M. Handy is an attorney practicing Consumer Bankruptcy Law in the Gadsden area since 1994 and is a shareholder in Bond, Botes & Handy, P.C. in Gadsden, Alabama. She holds a B.A. degree from Auburn University and received her Juris Doctorate degree from The University of Alabama. Carla currently serves on the Executive Committee for the Bankruptcy and Commercial Law Section of the Alabama State Bar and is a member of the Etowah County Bar Association and the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys. She was admitted to the Alabama State Bar in 1990 and is also admitted to the Northern District of Alabama.
