Gary Fortune is a Master Plumber serving the North Georgia area since 1989. He was originally licensed in Virgina and is currently licensed in Georgia and Florida. Gary has been plumbing since the age of 15, when he worked in his family’s business. Gary Fortune has extensive skill and experience on all equipment used for plumbing, sewer and septic services, and an honest work ethic rare in today’s marketplace.

We had Fortune Plumbing, Inc to our home on 04/​25/​2016 for a clogged kitchen drain. I was told it would be $ 100 but when given the invoice there was an additional charge of $ 50 for using a snake??? When asked he replied «we have to replace these several times a year»! I assumed the $ 100 would cover using their snake??? REALLY!!!

The customer service and professionalism at Fortune Plumbing was second to none! They were fast and efficient in analyzing my problem with our bathroom leak and was able to fix the problem with limited expense. This is much different than many experiences I’ve had over the years with plumbers or many home repair workers. Being a female and not knowing much about home repair, many times I feel like I’m being taken advantage of due to my lack of knowledge. However, Jesse from Fortune Plumbing was very professional and took time to show me tips and things I should do to prevent further issues down the road. I was blown away with the service and would definitely recommend them to my friends! Sharon.

I understand you want to get paid for the work done, but people make decisions based on quotes. The actual bill came in @ $ 1500 when the work was originally quoted at $ 300-​$ 400. The additional work that was asked of you is estimated at $ 200 – 300. You would not have gotten the job if you quoted the actual amount. I don’t blame you though, this was certainly our mistake using Fortune Plumbing.

I’ve called and called and left multiple messages for them to fix my pipes. I’ve never even received a call back from Fortune Plumbing. Very unprofessional!

Had a need to move a gas line in the basement for a basement finishing project. They came right out, quoted me 3 hours, charged me for two plus a few parts. Did not charge me for the time he had to run over to the box store to get an extra part.

I had a minor leak in my shower and knew NO ONE around town to fix it. I had always stayed clear of the internet when it came to plumbers and electricians because of the faulty reviews (and Unilocal had few in our area as it was) on other review websites.
I called some friends and two people recommended Fortune, they came out promptly and are currently fixing us up! They also recommended a tile guy to fix the other problems that they noticed.
Their fees are normal, you get what you pay for!
