Description

Specialties

I am a general practice attorney, meaning that I am capable of, and willing to, engage in any aspect of legal practice. However, what I am most proficient at, and have the greatest experience in, is adoption litigation, as well as divorce and custody matters, and criminal defense. I also have significant experience in estate planning and administration, incorporation work, and collections law.

History

Established in 2004.

After leaving my employment as an Assistant District Attorney for the Enotah Judicial Circuit for private practice with another attorney, I was involved in a terrible one-vehicle accident when the car I was driving was blown off the road during a tropical storm. I was comatose and unconscious for approximately four months, and spent the better part of eight months re-learning how to walk and speak again, after which I returned to work. My partnership did not develop, and I have been largely self-employed as a practicing attorney since that time.

Though it is indiscernible now, I suffered from a significant speech impediment after my accident, and could not readily find employment with another firm or for the State again. Therefore, I have worked for myself for the past several years — even maintaining charitable adoption work while employed as the Hall County Law Librarian for approximately two years.

Business Owner

The autobiography of my business is my own autobiography. However, in addition to being a well-trained attorney, I am also an Eagle Scout, a Senior Appellate Champion from Tulane University School of Law, and a Freemason. I presently work with attorney Thomas S. Bishop, and am learning the practice of Bankruptcy Law.
