Quinn Eye Center

Dr. Quinn is the best eye doctor we have ever been to. We drive an hour to see him, well worth the time and expense. After trying many providers in 20+ years, he far exceeds any previous experiences in eye care we have had. Dr. Quinn explains everything and does not rush through the exam.
The Optical Manager Manny, is also very helpful and knowledgeable in all aspects of frames and lenses. He works with people on an individual basis to get them the best product and is patient when explaining different materials.
Once we found Quinn eye center we knew we didn’t have to look further. This is a great eye center staffed with people who really know their craft. Our grandson recently needed to have his eyes checked and we recommended Quinn eye center.

My visit with staff and Dr. Hedges went very well. Dr. Hedges performed a very through eye exam and was excellent at explaining everything. Highly recommend.

Office was clean and quiet. Wait wasn’t long at all. Thorough exam. Everyone, especially Dr. Hedges, was very nice. Will definitely go back.

I went by to purchase some glasses. After some discussion, it was decided that I should see a doctor (ok wiseguy, to have my eyes examined, not my head.)
I did and he was great. Really nice guy, seems to know his stuff, even more about eye medicine than I know.
Appointment goes well. Manny helps me lock in my order. I pay and go home happy with the experience. The next day I get a call asking me to pay for my order so they can order them. Umm, hello? I paid. No, sir, you didn’t. Umm, yes?
Ok, she was polite. She asked me to fax them a receipt copy. Ok, so I get started and long story short, I get a call a few minutes later that she found it. Strike one.
I was told that my glasses would be in likely in less than 2 weeks. 3 weeks and 3 days later I call asking about my glasses. I was told they’ve been in for almost 2 weeks and someone texted me. Umm, seriously? I specifically told them it was my landline that I was giving them. No follow-​up? A text? You never asked if you could text me. What kind of joke is this? You *TEXTED* me? That’s it? 2 weeks later and the glasses still sit.
Ok, I’m disappointed now. I go in and of course Michelle is there and within seconds she, her knowledge, and her smile get me all fixed up (she’s sneaky that one.) The prescription didn’t work out so they’ve got to order the right one. No problem. She sure knows her stuff (it seems that they all do but she’s cuter.)
Nice people but this was a very sloppy experience. I’m writing this now because Unilocal is pestering me but I’m still waiting for my glasses. I’m going on a trip in a few days heading out of the country so I’ll update when I get back (if my glasses arrive.)

Perhaps the better optometrist service I have received in the past 10 years. I highly recommend the services provided if you like great service.

Great, professional exam. Dr Quinn told me I had coverage I had not realized I had, so my exam cost me less than I expected. No hard sell on any products, either; staff laid out options from the cheapest on up, and did not pressure me to make an immediate choice. Thanks!

I have been a patient here for many years and am extremely please with the level of service. Dr. Quinn and staff are amazing. They take time to give a very thorough exam and explain everything extremely well. The team here at Quinn Eye Center are the best in terms of customer service and knowledge.

I started going to Quinn when they first opened. I followed him from his last place of employment because during a routine eye exam he found an unusual eye problem with my child. We had a MRI and were referred to Shands that night. Luckily it was a benign diagnosis. I am grateful for his thorough exams on all of his patients. I recently saw Dr. McAllister and she exceeded my expectations also. I appreciate the weekend hours since I work 5 days a week. The staff are professional and polite at all times. I am pleased to say that they even had «doggles» for my pup. She appreciates them when we visit the beach. I will never go to anyone else! This eye center is highly recommended.

I chose Quinn based on their excellent reviews and was very satisfied with my exam. I managed to get an appointment the day I called, thanks to a cancellation, and was seen promptly at my appointment time. The staff was courteous and professional, and Lisa McAllister spotted something that none of my former eye doctors ever had. I even walked out with my new contacts that same day, which I’m not at all used to from my past experiences.

Their commitment to service is outstanding! Every one has been helpful, willing to explain, professional and friendly. So glad to use a local business and not a chain!

Very professional office with an almost all female staff (power up!) that is very knowledgeable and takes their time with you despite how busy they are. As others mentioned there is a wait time, but really I spent most of my 30 – 45 min wait picking out my frames which is about the time I needed, so it just saved time on the back end of the visit. Worth the «wait.»
They are not a 24 hour or express place, but they made sure I got my lenses the next day because I had no other glasses and needed them to function.
I only give 4 stars because the frame selection is decent but not stellar. I felt a lot of the frames were redundant. However, I was lucky enough to find one frame that I really liked, which doesn’t always happen with my mug.

They did a great job. They were very thorough and although it took a little longer than expected I did not mind because it was a clean quiet nice environment. They were very helpful and professional. Overall I thought it was a extremely well run office and I actually left there and spoke to my office staff about the experience. I went to Quinn Eye Center because they would bill my insurance, but I ended up glad I found them because the doctor and staff were much more pleasant than other places I’ve been. I asked to be put on a waiting list for a sooner appointment; something I often ask for at various doctors, but rarely get. Quinn Eye Center actually called me twice with openings, and the second one was on a Saturday afternoon, perfect! I didn’t even have to miss work. I saw Dr. McCallister and she was very attentive and helpful, even offered suggestions for glass style though she knew up front I would be taking my prescription elsewhere (a relative is manager of another shop in town). I will definitely go back to Quinn Eye Center.
