The tool we use is the U.S. Bankruptcy Code, one of the very few legal options the ordinary person has to protect him or herself and loved ones from the demands of creditors when finances don’t work out as everyone had hoped and planned. We enjoy helping people and take satisfaction from the fact we can relieve people’s stress when there seems to be no way out of a financial nightmare.

History

Established in 1986.

We are attorneys Eric S. Ruff and Lisa C. Cohen. We both graduated with honors from the University of Florida College of Law and have practiced bankruptcy law for over 25 years. We are admitted to the U. S Bankruptcy Courts for the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts of Florida. Together we have filed over 5,000 bankruptcy cases.
