Study Edge

The only reason to use Study Edge is if you do not attend class and need a brief review before a test. The content is extremely basic; if you have a halfway decent teacher at UF, and you are willing to study on your own, you will not need their services. In addition, Study Edge usually has one really good teacher for the test reviews, and the teachers of other videos are not nearly as experienced or as clear. (These teachers usually post videos about weekly quiz reviews or answers to practice tests written by Study Edge). Finally, do not attempt to use their materials to study without watching the online videos, because many of the materials have typos/​mistakes that are clarified in the videos. Thus, if you only use the online materials for extra practice, you may wind up unnecessarily confused.
Perhaps most importantly, be aware that this company has some unsavory business practices:
a. This company uses automatic monthly payments, which must be cancelled at least one day in advance of your renewal date or else you are charged for the next month. No refunds are allowed; if you are lucky, they may offer you a gift card. I very much dislike companies that do this because it allows them to make oodles of money off of busy students who may lose track of their renewal dates, but no longer need the services of the business.
b. Once you cancel your recurring membership, they delete all of your tokens, including those that you paid for and haven’t used.
c. The tokens that you buy are not renewed from month to month unless you pay extra. So the ones you don’t use each month get deleted, and you have to buy new ones.
d. The website has glitches, and often charges you tokens when you re-​click on a video that didn’t work, for example.
In short, this company has a poor business model, and I highly recommend steering clear of it and seeking help elsewhere if you need it. If you decide to use this company even after reading this review, sign up with a credit card with a good track record for disputing unwanted charges. And if you are not satisfied with their services, be prepared to fight to get your money back.

We all know those professors that we just don’t understand. They are speaking some special professor language that you only understand if you are in their club. Study Edge decodes that language and helps you understand what is going on.
I have personally gone to the chemistry, calculus, and physics reviews. The tutors for these courses are awesome. The reviews can get to be lengthy but considering that they are covering everything for an exam at once, it is going to take awhile.
They offer three different membership options, depending on how often you are going to use the tutors. There is also the option to pay per review but considering that it costs $ 25 for a review and $ 25 for the silver membership that includes the reviews, you might as well get the membership. For more information about their memberships check out the Facebook App. Also understand that when you pay fora membership, you do so through the app and then you are automatically aet up for automatic payments for that memebership level each month.
Also, tutors are more than happy to help you, just not on anything that is graded. You can post questions on the Facebook Wall for the course and they will respond or someone else in your class will!
