Texas Roadhouse

I love this place! Salmon and steak are my faves. It does get kind of loud so if you’re looking for something quiet and calm this isn’t the place for you. Definitely a fun friendly atmosphere.

What has happened to this Restaurant? It used to be the best place in town. The last three times we have been here the steaks have to be sent back because they can’t cook them the way they are ordered! Either overdone or underdone! We thought we would give them one more try. Three strikes! It will be a long time before we would even consider coming back

My wife and I had dinner here last night. She had the Prime Rib cooked perfectly. I had the pulled pork that was excellent. The service (Zachary) was great. The rolls are always awesome. We will definitely be going back. Always call ahead!

This is probably our fav place in Gainesville to eat out. We almost always eat at the bar, where the bartenders know us, know what we like to drink n eat too, which is amazing… makes us feel like home. Its fun to talk to the other bar customers too. On the last visit they had installed the new star over the bar area, replacing the overhanging cabinets and it’s looking brighter and updated now to say nothing re the new huge flatscreen TV. Hope the bartenders get used to it and they find spots for the glasses and liquor that used to be overhead… LOL
Best on menu for us is the Grilled Chicken Salad (huge and full of goodies!) Burgers, Catfish (yeah who knew)
«Roadkill», Snakebites, Pork Chops… Rarely have we had a less than perfect experience. See y’all at TX Roadhouse… PS …I’m a TEXAS native, temporarily transplanted …

Just want everyone to know that we love Cory it was his first night being Bartender and he has a great personality and will be absolutely wonderful!

After reading all of the reviews about Texas Roadhouse in Gainesville Ga. I almost went elsewhere but decided to go anyway because their food is usually pretty good. Most of the complaint reviews are for poor service but I have to say our waitress was pretty good, that being said, that was about the extent of what was good. I ordered a ribeye cooked medium that came out with no pink in the center, much less mostly pink as it should have been. Not wanting to pay $ 20 for a steak not cooked correctly at a steakhouse I had her send it back to be redone. 10 minutes later (after everyone else was done with their meal) my second steak comes out, just as well done as the first one!!! This time it is brought to me by the manager who asked me to cut it open to make sure it’s right. As soon as I cut it we both realized there was no pink in the center and I said «this is pretty bad, this is a steakhouse and can’t get a steak cooked medium!) Not wanting my party to have to wait on me again I told the manager that i would just eat this one. She apologized and said they would try to do better? My bill comes, not one mention of a comp or coupon! Or even another I’m sorry about the mistakes, just I hope you enjoyed your meal and I hope you come back to see us.
I love Texas Roadhouse but the customer service at the Gainesville location is not on par!

We had 10 people in our party tonight and although they were packed as usual, our waiter Richard was AMAZING! Not one time did we have to ask for a refill or anything else! I have never had such wonderful service anywhere! Thank you Richard!

Bad attitude at the door. Took 10 minutes to be greeted and asked for drink order at the bar. When the cockroach ran across the bar that was it. Order cancelled, went to Outback.

This was awful. Resturant seemed dirty. The salmon was way over cooked and when we complained the server said oh well. Won’t go back.

I gave it three stars mostly because of their customer service (in one word it SUCKS!!!). I have been going to this place since it opened. One example would be my most recent experience, It took the waiters about 10 minutes just to come to our table to take our drink order. I also had to keep reminding her to bring us silverwear, straws, and bread. The only reason I keep going back is because their house salad is excellent, and their food is always great.

Just had a house salad a sweet potato at Texas Roadhouse. Both were pretty good, and house salad was a decent size with a fair amount of toppings on it. Good atmosphere and really nice server, but this place loses a star due to no group seating (for groups over 7), no free WiFi, and the house fly buzzing around my plate while eating.
We had a party of 14 (did not warn ahead of time), and that is we found out that they are unable to pull tables together for a big group. One friend’s food was late (about 15 minutes after everyone else’s) and some checks were mixed up, but it was no big deal. The server did a great job accommodating such a large party. He successfully got the other servers to surprise our friend with the happy birthday song and brownie. Fun times were had by all.

Terrible service every time we come here. Servers have a bad attitude. won’t come here again.

Service was not that good tonite. I been here lotts times its allwys busy here, no silverwere, no bread, got ask for it. Hope next time is better if I come back

Service was OK for as busy as they were.
My Filets were perfect… Yes, two six ounce.
We showed up at 1900 on a Friday night.
There was about a fifteen minute wait to be seated.
It was extremely busy after we arrived.
We had a party of four and were all happy with our meals and the service.

Must have been a one– off on my steak. Ordered it medium well and it was cooked that way, but it was bland and dry. I usually order my steak this way and it is still juicy. Everything else was great including our service.

This is definitely the best place in this town to go for a steak, our service was wonderful and the prices are very good, sometimes wait times ate long but I believe that to be because the food is worth waiting for, kids love it too

Very poor. Went here a few months ago and was very disappointed. I have been to other Texas Roadhouse’s and they were great but, this one was very bad. They couldn’t even cook my steak the right way, asked for medium got well done so bad it was like eating rubber. Stay clear from this Texas Roadhouse.

Arrive. Fight all urges to slap a friend and declare «roadhouse» Peter Griffin style as you walk in.
Greet hostess. Request seats. Watch as buttery creamy fatty rolls are picked up from the counter immediately to the left. Suddenly, the connection between human and the basket disappears — the rolls are now leading you. They are now your hostess.
Sit, find a bucket of peanuts next to the rolls. Shell, eat, discard. Repeat. It’s about this time you realize a beer would be the prefect accompaniment to these peanuts. Stare at the fatty rolls as they mock you. Know that it is almost too easy to get more.
If beer is not on your menu, obtain iced tea. I prefer unsweetened — be sure to specify.
South=sweet tea.
Order food. Much of it is moo based. There are other items, and a few that would suffice for those calorie counters, of which I include myself. My salad is green. This pleases me.
Watch as the waitstaff, unperturbed by the clientele present, plays monkey games, screams and chases one another, and generally makes you scared for your food situation.
Consume and enjoy. Your moo will be decent. The show will be entertaining. The bill will be moderate.
Not a normal stop of mine, but food is food and this place generally entertains.

Gross people and food… Seriously… This place is the chain of all chain restaurants.

Very good! We have gone three times since moving to this area recently. Reminds me of roadhouse grill from the peanuts to the bread. Good quality food at a reasonable price.
