Great Find!
Stumbled upon this repair shop by accident today and boy was I lucky! My iPhone 6+ camera was taking blurry pictures so I was next door at the car wash and saw this shop and since it was convenient I ran in to see if they could fix it. The repair guy informed me apple had a recall on the camera on iPhone 6. I ran over to Gatortech and sure enough it was! So for free I got a new camera installed in my phone. I can tell you if I ever need out of warranty work I know where I’m going. These guys are honest and very knowledgable and that’s a hard combination to find these days! Thanks guys!

I came in at 4:15pm with a broken iphone glass screen and they had it fixed by 5pm. It’s a father and daughter team, and they are truly the best! The father told me his daughter graduated the training program top of her class! She’s super quick. I came in and there was soon a line forming after me, so book an appointment online.

Honestly if you have ever been to retech don’t ever go back!!! This place is awesome! The people are so nice and very informative. They give you the best deal and the best product. So happy I found a genuine good store to fix my phone

Went to verizon about a problem. They gave me two options where to have phone fixed but said ubreak was family owned so gave them a shot. Have to say they are the kind of business you root for. Amazing service, stayed late, honored a very generous warranty on an unrelated issue. Please do yourself a favor if you have issues with your phone or computer. Take it here. I would be shocked if your experience was any different than mine.

DATA RESCUE
Apple’s tech support sent me to Gatortec after my Macbook Pro crashed. The folks at Gatortec told me I was going to lose all of my files and data. I’m a student in UF’s Master of Fine Arts program in fiction writing, and losing my files would have meant losing everything I had written in the past five years. I was devastated, and called Ubreakifix as a last resort. Adler told me on the phone that he thought they could save my stuff, and sure enough, they salvaged everything for me. He and Trevor were the two dudes on staff that I interacted with, and they both worked admirably to rescue all of this data, which they could tell meant a lot to me. I couldn’t be happier with the service. Let these guys take care of you.

Amazing place! Had a screen replaced by them 2 months ago then the LED went out 2 today. They covered it under warranty at no charge! Very honest and reliable. 5 stars!

This business is run by some of the most friendly, professional people I’ve ever worked with. They fixed my iPhone screen back in January, and even though they were already cheaper than most repair places, they gave me an additional discount. I forgot her name, but she also gave me an extra phone case for free because we bonded over foxes. So sweet! Earlier this week, I finally took in my Macbook Air in for a broken trackpad. Trevor did a great job! He called me after he ran a diagnostic to ask my permission to go ahead and fix it. I really hope I don’t need to use them again, but they will be the only place I take my electronics to in Gainesville.

My daughter broke her iPhone and I thought it was irreparable. I brought it to this business and nothing only did they repair it, they did it in 30 minutes and at an extremely reasonable rate. Their owner (Nate) is very friendly and customer oriented. I would bring any future electronics to this business to be repaired.

My ipad2 screen had multiple breaks in it. Tracy fixed it last Sunday afternoon for a very good price. The service is both extremely professional and very pleasant. I highly recommend them.

Wow! so here’s the scoop: i had just finished cleaning the Dyson filter canister (vacuum) and was cleaning around my husbands office… got a little too close tot he USB lanyard that was on the floor (his CPU is down there under his desk) and the super suction of the vacuum grabbed the USB and it EXPLODED IN PIECES! Thought for sure it was the end for the little flash drive :(So in an attempt to not have my husband be mad at me all day (cause there was a TON of important business info on that little guy) I looked for someplace that might possibly fix a flash drive… found these guys/​gals at the Gainesville UbreakIfix. Called them and they said maybe they could fix it but i should bring it in so that they might look at it. 30 minutes later i walked in the door — they were extremely friendly and nice and and the place was quaint and clean. No problem they said we have a micro soddering gun and can def fix it… hopefully none of the info on the chip will be damaged. We were told to give them about an hour… well, 15 minutes later the gal called and said she FIXED IT annnnd was backing it up onto a new flash drive for us!!! OMgosh!!! so much relief!!! got back there lickity split and sure enough all was right with our world again! :) Charged us a mere 39 $ and sent us out happy and stress free.
This is a family run business and i almost want to break another device to give them more business… but i wont;) A big thanks to to the young lady who helped us!

My phone started acting up, and Verizon did little to resolve my problem. Just down the street, I walked into uBreakiFix under a deluge of rain, as my phone was getting sicker by the minute. They quickly did their magic and restored my phone to its former glory. Mind you, NO CHARGE! I’m impressed! They even updated all my programs, and I left a happy camper. Mac Book Hard Drive Repair with Data Recovery.

STORY –LINE:
I had my hard drive crash about 4 months ago. Given that I live in Gainesville (no mac store??), and it was an older mac, I figured that I should take it to a mac store 2hrs away. I drove down, and was charged about 200 bucks for a new hard drive and with instalation. Of those 200 dollars was a fee in order for me to keep my old harddrive? REALLY? They said given their assessment, that it was not fixable; they recommended sending it to California, where it may cost 500−1k to fix.
This is where uBreakIfix comes into play. I had a lot of important files and medical presentations (countless hours of work). My wife called, and they were not only professional, polite, but well priced (for the above hard drive repair, which can be really expensive).
I came in the next day (Sunday), and he quickly took me outback and said he could fix it likely within 24hrs. I came in on Monday to find that they recovered 98% of my hard drive, presented me with a free 16gb flash drive (uploaded important files), a list of sellers that could sell me a device to up load files to my desktop, and a price tag of 42 bucks. #lifesaver.
He polity asked for me to come by if I had any questions/​issues before going to a bigger (mainstream store), as he could have fixed everything that I payed close to $ 200 for about a ½ of the price… as well as save us a 4 hr drive/​gas.

After two years of having my iPhone in excellent condition, the laws of probabilities will eventually catch up and fudged-​up my phone. I got gloop of Krazy glue on the dock, making me unable to recharge it and making practically useless. I don’t want to pay another phone or extend my commitment for 2 years, so I checked this place. What a find! Excellent customer service and took care of my phone in a jiffy! They gave me a good price and my phone was good as new within an hour. Thank you guys!
