Zinga Frozen Yogurt

Been here a few time. Nice place to go to after dinner and relax with some amazing yogurt! I have to go there once a week!

Great service and great frozen yogurt. Place is always clean and inviting. Kids love it and so do we.

It’s decent, but dang you’re going to pay for it. The flavors of the froyo that adventurous or interesting. Sort of a bland mix of options.
If you’re in the area and need a froyo fix — this place won’t hurt to visit.

Pretty much the same as Sweet Frog. Limited flavors, but kids don’t seem to care about that because there is a decent amount of toppings.

Place was quiet. Now I see why. Yogurt was icy and chemical tasting, sticks to your mouth.yuk. old and stale toppins.

I haven’t been to Zingas in two years. I came for a fundraiser a long time ago but stopped in today for a quick treat. Here’s why I like it:
When we entered, the young guy working greeted us.
They have sample cups out for you to try and not beg the high school kid who is ignoring you on the phone or talking to their co worker like the green frog place. Sweet! Therefore for I tried several before deciding on the salted caramel pretzel.
Flavors were cherry amaretto, tart, Belgian cookie, vanilla, café au lait, lemon ice, dark chocolate, and more.
The toppings are in sanitary cases with dials like we had in college to dispense cereal except for a few like Reese cup, cookie dough, etc which uses the spoon the format.
They have tons of liquid toppings! Yeah! Marshmallow, caramel, peanut butter, Nutella, hot fudge, and more.
And finally they have jimmies in chocolate or rainbow.
Whew
And if that wasn’t enough, choose your spoon
Color and they have to lids right by the register ready for your trip home to enjoy if you desire.
Place was clean and service was quick.

The fro yo here is good. Clean cute shop, plenty of seating. Not tons of fro yo flavors, lots of them overly sweet and the tart being overly tart, but I liked the chocolate and vanilla. Seemed more like soft serve ice cream then fro yo. But good. Quality toppings. Friendly employee.
But I have been seeming to have weird issues with every fro yo shop in this area (just check out my other reviews). I guess I just have bad luck!
I came across a Groupon for this place and decided to get it since I have never been before and won’t turn down a discount.
I paid $ 1 for the groupon and it says «$ 5 to fill your Red Cup». So from what I understood that would mean I get $ 5 off whatever I serve up, right?
I filled up one of their red cups with fro yo and toppings totaling $ 6 and change. Sweet, think, I only have to pay $ 1 and change. The employee then said I still owed $ 5 and change saying the groupon only gave me $ 1 off… So what was even the point of buying the groupon, spending $ 1 if I only got $ 1 off??? Utterly pointless. She seemed just as confused as me but I didn’t feel like arguing with her about it so I just paid.
If I’m wrong, that’s okay, but that groupon certainly needs clarification. I realize that would be quite the discount but I’ve bought insanely cheap groupons like that before so I didn’t think anything of it…
Seemed a little pricey since I didn’t feel like I got much and it was over $ 6.
But I would probably come again if I wanted a good chocolate and vanilla, soft serve-​esque fro yo.

This is the place I come to every time I want Fro Yo. They have a huge selection of toppings and the flavors change constantly. The price is pretty fair and I love the different colors of spoons. The decorations are pretty cool as well.

I love how clean this place is!!! Majority of the candies are covered and sealed. The frozen yogurt is delicious!!! And I love the reward card so eventually you will get a free frozen yogurt. It’s a little pricey but other then that, it’s a great!

Yeah gluten free cake!!! This is why I like this place the best! Yogurt is good too!

Ill keep this as short as I can. I already reviewed Sweet Frog. You can check that out if you want. That is closer to my house, but I am sorry I ever stopped going to Zinga. This place opened on my birthday last year, and it was an instant hit. It has since only improved. Its big, open, clean, and the kids behind the counter are always super nice and polite. They clearly have a very good setup and proper management. They change the flavors frequently, which is awesome, and maintain an engaging Facebook page with plenty of fundraising/​events posted. The yogurt is always phenomenal and well stocked, and the toppings are fantastic. I prefer this place to Sweet Frog hands down. I do prefer one or two of Sweet Frog’s flavors compared to their counterparts at Zinga, but the service and size of that place was enough to drive me away, and further from home just for better noms and service. They are even open late weekends and over the summer, so it’s a great late night snack that is a smidge healthier than Coldstone or regular ice cream. A must-​go if you like froyo and service with a smile.

Been here many times — as good as it gets!!! Very clean, amazing variety of yogurt — especially LOVE the orange sorbet! :) Good prices too!

This place is fantastic!
I am defiantly a regular here! I love how this small business uses all possible social media to stay in contact with customers and how the reward them which check in specials with foursquare.
The yogurt is amazing with tons of flavors continuously rotating in and out of the line up so that everyone always has something to choose.
There are small sample cup so that you can try before you buy sort of thing.
Two sized cups for however much you want and a huge and I mean Hugh toppings bar.
When you get to the check out make sure to sign up for the loyalty program for free froyo and show off your check in specials! Also they usually run an in store specials as well!
Very well run business that offers a great product! I will continue to come here until I am the major in foursquare and I get to get my froyo for 50% off!

You can’t beat the price. Certainly a WAY better deal than Coldstone which is also in the same shopping center. It’s half the price and healthier.

Refreshing yogurt with fresh fruit toppings and other sweets. They change flavors to keep you coming back.
Staff at this place are always cheery, friendly and smiling. This is a nice place to go after dinner and have dessert. A good value and their discount card gives you a freebie for every $ 40 spent.

* Price is right, so much cheaper than close by Coldstone.

When we moved here, my first thought was «OMG — there’s no frozen yogurt…» THANK GOODNESS Zinga opened up! It’s self serve, and you can create whatever it is you want and pay by the ounce. Make it super healthy with no sugar added frozen yogurt topped with berries and nuts, or indulge in calorie sin with peanut butter frozen yogurt topped with chocolate and candy. Make it as small or as big as you want! I’ll definitely be a regular here… some times frozen yogurt just becomes my whole meal!

Stumbled across Zinga today. It’s located in the Virginia Gateway Center retail complex in Gainesville, VA.
Being a very hot and humid day — frozen yogurt sounded wonderful!
Immediately upon entering, I was greeting by the folks at the counter. A young lady came over and introduced me to their process. It’s basically a self serve process — you create your own dessert — and you pay based upon the weight of your dessert. There is a ton of topping options!
They had lots of yogurt flavors — I opted for the non-​fat tart Lime and non-​fat tart Raspberry. No toppings for me — just wanted something fresh and light!
The Lime and Raspberry hit the spot! In fact, it was so good, I found myself eating it faster than my body liked — I kept getting brain freeze!
Definitely worth your time! I will be coming back here again!
