Based upon more than 15 years as patients of Dr. Lau, my wife and I can attest that she is an exceptional dentist. She is very thorough — at each 6 month cleaning/​checkup, she checks to make sure that we appear to be brushing and flossing correctly and makes recommendations for modifications in our techniques when necessary. We have had everything from cleanings, to fillings, to root canals, and crown work performed by Dr. Lau, all done expertly, to our complete satisfaction. She is very good at managing pain during procedures, her numbing techniques ensure minimal or no pain. During a recent root canal, I dozed off in the chair a couple of times. She is very careful to maintain communication, with 6 months reminders and calls the day before an appointment. We have found Dr. Lau to also be a kind and caring person and would both strongly recommend her as a dentist.
