Cutting Edge Tint

I highly recommend this place… the gentleman who did my tints has been doing it a very long time. i would recommend knowing they would do a great job…

The service that this shop gave me was phenomenal. I worked with Suzy/​Susie over the phone to schedule warranty work for my car and she took care of everything. I’ve referred two cars to this shop already and recommend it to anyone in the area.

Good customer service, but I’m not sure how they have so many five stars.
I had to redo the front two windows. They were the worst. They had a huge gap where the tint meets the door. They tried to redo it, but still both windows still had a gap and were horribly hand cut.

I absolutely love this place! Have been here for tint on multiple vehicles, also plastidip & debadging. Professional & very friendly. They work very fast, but it’s quality work! Will keep going back.

Excellent job from super-​nice guys. They were very patient explaining my options to me and indulged a lot of stupid questions. Some reviewer complained there was no restroom; I’m not sure what she’s talking about. You just have to ask and the staff will show you to it. Wander across the street for a snack or iced tea at the cute little dinette, which randomly sells little vials of oil with names like «Sexy Black Woman» and «Obama Musk.»

This place is top notch. I had the unfortunate circumstance of failing my Maryland vehicle safety inspection due to the tint I had on my car. I did some research and found Cutting Edge. They offered competitive pricing for tint removal and a discount if I re-​tinted with them. I was given a 30 day window after my tint removal to return for re-​tinting. They were accomodating, friendly, fast and professional. Highly recommended. Check them out for your tinting needs.

Had my CR-​V tinted today — Franklin did the great job I always expect from Cutting Edge. I’ve had several of our cars tinted there without a problem. Quality professional work completed as promised in a nice friendly shop. Can’t beat it for your custom car needs. The state of Maryland claimed the tint on my Bimmer was too dark so I had to get lighter ones. I searched and read reviews online and decided to go to Cutting Edge since they had a lot of good reviews. I was not disappointed! I got the top of the line 3M tint and they even gave me some discounts. The guys were nice and the young lady at the front desk is a delight — she is very knowledgeable and helpful with a pleasant demeanor. I love the job they did on my car — it looks great! I intend to let them install a Remote Start System sometime soo.

This is the third time I have worked with the folks at Cutting Edge Tint. The first was was when they put tint on the windows of my Acura TL Type S back in like 2008 or so. The second was just recently when I had that tint removed to trade the car in, and the third was when the put 3M Crystalline tint on my new car. They are efficient and pay painstaking attention to detail. There may be cheaper places but there are none better, and I will be an enthusiastic repeat customer.

This place is right down the street from where I work and they are great! I wanted to tint the windows on my VW for some more privacy and to keep the glare from the sun down a bit. They did the job quickly and it came out very nice. I had this done a few years ago and it is holding up very well. One of my co-​workers liked the job that they did on my car so much, he had his Maxima tinted. Such a nice bunch of guys and they are very helpful in recommending the type of tint you want. If only all businesses could be this professional and good. Thanks Franklin and TJ!

I’ve had horrible experiences with other local tint shops and Cutting Edge won me over after years of excellent service. They have never disappointed me in all the vehicles we send their way (personal and referred customers.)
The first time I walked in I knew exactly what I wanted. They tinted a couple of our personal cars. I wanted them to match the factory tint on the back doors and trunk of my xterra and they did a extraordinary job. You can’t even tell the front windows didn’t come tinted because they matched perfectly. I also wanted a sun strip and my tail lights smoked out. On the C300 they tinted the whole vehicle with a sun strip.
Their prices are more the n fair for the quality of work and lifetime warranty.
The second I walked in for the first time I knew by their reputation and friendliness that their shop would be my go to place.

After doing research and having people tell me about their experiences I finally decided to get tints on my car… And I was not going to settle for anything less than the best so here I am; requesting services from the most professional team of car enthusiasts.
Yes, the place is dingy; it’s a got damn auto shop… Not the ritz Carlton or Kids Day Spa… Don’t expect a lounge and snacks while you wait.
Upon arrival the owner kindly welcomed us, walked us through all the tints they offer and made sure every single question of ours was answered. Great start, a few minutes later an appt was set for my sister and I to come back with both our cars.
We arrive for our appt 15 minutes early, they opened at exactly 10AM. Very timely. I appreciate the promptness.
My car was taken in immediately, before we began the tech made sure to ask me again which specific tint I wanted and went over the legal repercussions of my choice. Cool cool. I like the honesty.
We sit and chat with all the techs about other services they offer from exterior lighting to rims/​tires and even upholstering. All questions were answered, estimates given and what struck me as excellent was the tech’s eagerness to answer ALL my questions.
I couldn’t envision what certain rims would look like on my car so the tech pulled up this configuration thing that allowed me to SEE what certain things would look like on my car…
A hundred questions later and nobody has kicked me out or acted annoyed… THAT’S CUSTOMER SERVICE.
An hour and a half later I was leaving the shop with amazing tints on my car. I loved it and at the price I paid, I thought it was fairly priced considering the quality.
The tech also made cleaning and care instructions very clear, much appreciated because most other places usher you out as soon as they can. Not here though.
I know exactly where I’ll be going for all my car «cosmetic» needs now on and I HIGHLY recommend this place to anybody looking for exceptional quality and care.

Bought in 2 cars to get tinted today. Great service ! Very knowledgeable and didnt mind me asking 10 billion questions from installing speakers, getting headlights changed, and rims. I will deff be coming back here again and again. You get what you pay for by the way. So dont be cheap if this is what you will be riding around with. And maryland LEGAL tint is 35% so dont complain if you go dark and get pulled over lol. I got 22% HP Supreme tint which was $ 220 but their tints start at $ 160. & I even got $ 10 off for bringing in 2 cars !!

Very professional. The sales associate was able to give me a very detailed breakdown on all of the optional tints offered along with MD laws for tinting.
I don’t understand how a previous poster mentioned they put illegal tint on, you have plenty of time and options on your choice.
Would not recommend to friends and family for service.

This started off as a five star review for the excellent work they did on my wife’s car. Would rate a 10 out of 10 on quality of work.
After I was able to roll my windows down on my car after the waiting period, I was able to see all the imperfections. Almost no straight lines of tint and the corners look like they were practically torn off, not even cut with any type of sharp edge. Just a very sloppy job overall. It looks like the person almost had no experience tinting cars. I guess I lucked out on my wife’s car. Would rate a 2 out of 10 for my car.

Went here to get my bmw door trim wrapped in black vinyl, was met by a friendly employee (which I was shocked because car shops usually never have friendly employees), I was taken care of pretty fast since I made an appointment.
The only down side was the pricing I had to pay $ 80 for labor when I even included my own vinyl wrap, but its okay they did a good job and I’m happy with the work they did, I could of went to another cheaper place but I doubt they would of done a better job, so you do get what you paid for here and I’m pretty happy with the results.
I will be coming back for future business, Thanks again cutting edge.

Shortly after writing my review and speaking to a shop employee, someone from the shop contacted me and basically offered to have my tint removed. I respectfully declined. Of course I wanted a full refund so I can take my business elsewhere. There is no way I was going to bring my 2013 Volvo in this shop again after they knowingly sent me riding away with illegal tint, to have them do further damage. Even the cop who pulled me over said It looked a bit uneven and that this company «misinformed me» of the legality of the tint. Luckily the cop was funny and friendly and he didnt give me a ticket! Or he just of course believed my plight. But, my fear is someone unknowingly bringing their car to this shop and getting ther windows tinted only be pulled over and not be the lucky one and instead get a ticket! A very EXPENSIVE one at that! My car would’ve never passed inspection– shameful! Of course, we got no refund! I had to take my car to a knowledgeable and honest company and had them fix cutting edge’s mess and do it correctly for LESS. I’m even happier with the results. In the end it’s more $$ out of our pockets. This doesn’t have to be you– chose a reputable company to tint your car windows.
They are way over-​priced anyhow IMO. Shop is small and dingy. No trash cans or bathrooms for public use. So not family friendly! Strange, sketchy dudes coming in and out of the back looking crazy. Hardly any parking in front, just a mess. Ghetto comes to mind when I think of this shop. The second YOU have an issue with their work, be prepared for drama! Anyhow, you live and you learn. I’m just super happy now that my car is fixed, no thanks to cutting edge who screwed it up in the first place! …and I can move on.

Awesome! Took my car for tinting on a saturday morning at 10:00am. told them i need the car done ASAP. Was done by literally 10:25am. 3 employees worked on my car. Did an amazing job.
Had a slight bubble for which i took my car back in a week later. Without any questions they peeled the full tint and installed a new one…

Now, you can get tints done for $ 100 in Glen Burnie but remember its all about quality and service. At Cutting Edge you pay extra for outstanding service and quality of the work you get. Trust me i got my car done for $ 100 in past from Glen Burnie and the thing is horrible…

We love Cutting Edge Tint! At this point Cutting Edge Tint has tinted 4 of our cars, as well as installed Blue Tooth in one of our cars. They take time working on your car as well as explains the work in a manner that is easy to understand. Cutting Edge Tint is totally worth the money!
We have looked around and there are no other companies that compare to the quality and service offered at Cutting Edge Tint.

This is my 3^rd time here. I had an absolutely wonderful experience with my 2 previous vehicles done. They are very accommodating and even though they are a bit more expensive than other shops, I’m the type of person that will spend a little more for quality. Great service, great products, and most of all, worth every penny!
Highly recommended. Now to get my MDX done next!
