We service all makes/​models including antique/​classic cars and small engine repairs. J&R Auto Service was founded in 1981 by the brother and sister team of Jim Guidara and Rita Mele. Jim and Rita are also joined by mechanic Larry Roberts who has been with J&R since 2001. Jim and Larry have over 50 years combined experience and are ASE certified. We provide superior work, honest estimates, and fair prices.

For a few months I had a check engine light come on and I would take it to the Criswell Honda dealership to have it checked out. After a few back and forth visits trying to get it fixed I realized that they were just mentally incapable of getting anything done right.
For awhile I lost trust in getting work done by anyone, but finally I caved in and took my dad’s referral to see Jim.
I explained everything that was wrong with my car and after 30 – 45 mins of running diagnostics on my car he managed to pinpoint the issue, which after 3 visits Criswell couldn’t figure out.
Jim is honest and very knowledgeable in the work that he does. I’m definitely going back to J&R for all auto repairs.

Honest and fair… these days those traits are more rare and valuable than ever. I came to J & R a few years ago on a recommendation from a friend because I had a problem with my exhaust. Since then, I have had Jimmy and his crew do everything for me, from fixing major problems to replacing break lights and even installing a new cigarette lighter (I just couldn’t figure out how to do it by myself). And you can be sure they will do a great job. The crew at J & R are trustworthy, fair, and professional, the trifecta of perfection, and they have a loyal customer in me.
