History

Established in 1968.

The Animal Hospital was started in 1968 as the first small animal (dog and cat) hospital in Gaithersburg. I purchased the practice in 1990. In 1994 we changed the name from Village Veterinary Clinic to Lake Forest Animal Hospital to better reflect the advanced level of care we offer. Presently we are renovating and adding an addition that will take us from 2900sf to 7500sf. All areas of the hospital are being updated to exceed current medicine and surgey standards, as well as being built with new green technology. This new facilty will be state of the art in Veterinary Medicine and much more enjoyable. We will be offering more comfortable and efficient boarding service with a separate kitty condo area for a peaceful cat boarding experience.
