What a wonderful dentist! Dr. Hislop has turned me from phobic to cheerful as a dental patient. His work is meticulous and PAIN FREE!

It’s probably not very common for a person to be connected to a dentist for all his life, but in my case, Dr. Hislop has been preventing cavities and cleaning teeth for my mom, brother and me for at least 30 years.
Even during my 12 and half year stent in the Air Force, I made it a point to visit Dr. Hislop on a couple occasions when I was home on leave. When I re-​entered the civilian world and got health insurance, it was a no brainer for me to use my family dentist of long. He is without a doubt worth the drive from downtown DC to Gaithersburg every six months. I’ve never had a cavity under his practice… although I can’t say that about the Air Force!
Nancy, the receptionist, is so nice and pleasant to deal with, all of his oral hygienists are amazing, and Dr. Hislop’s care is top notch.
If you’re just starting a family or new to the area, I highly recommend making Dr. Hislop your family dentist. I’m sure you don’t need to have a family to use him, so if you’re just in need of a great dentist, give them a call. Any PPO insurance is taken. You’ll have to call about other types.
