I’ve been looking for a good Liquor store. This actually tops it off. I like this location a lot better than the Rockville one. Sales are almost everyday. and When I see the prices and selection, I’m pretty amazed. The workers are pretty knowledgeable in their taste in liquors as well. Very helpful when selecting a liquor for a specific taste.

Bad customer service. I was turned away because my drivers license«looked tampered with». Mind you the passport agency found my «tampered with» drivers license to be Sufficient enough to grant me a USPASSPORT. I was then accused of lying and I do not take kindly to that. I have never been treated so rudely in my entire life. I will never go here again.

I wound up here desperately late for a family reunion* and needing to stock up with stuff that would give me at least a tiny bit of credibility as a knowledgeable ex-area resident. Thank goodness they had plenty of selection, including my beloved Dogfish, a fast and friendly cashier, and surprisingly decent prices considering the odd liquor situation in Montgomery County. A nice little option for liquor in Gaithersburg. * Let me clarify: The reunion itself was not here, though it perhaps should have been. I was here while also existing in a state of tardiness relative to a reunion then underway at a different location.

Really decent selection of wines and beer — more options than many other liquor stores in the area. WHW&L also has an abundance of liquor choices, everything from vodka to tequila to liqueurs. Prices are okay. Not great, but okay. I know that pretty much ALL alcohol in Montgomery County is pricey, but I’ve definitely seen better prices at several other stores, just none close to my house! Next to Food Lion — I think the address/directions provided by the Unilocal app are incorrect.

Since the Montgomery County Goubmint must own all the liquor stores there aren’t that many around and I’m talking not just beer and wine but the hard stuff. So having one of these around and a very good sized one is like a little walk in the park of happiness and salvation. Located in the same strip mall as the infamous«New Fortune» restaurant and near the discount grocery store I found this place to have quite a good selection of everything from whiskey to rum and all in-between, they even have those little bottles you get on the aeroplanes. Whats nice about this place other than being near is that they have really good price specials on merchandise. It’s no way near as large as the«Corridor» out in Laurel but it sure nuff have what I need when I need it and a helpful staff. So here’s lookin at you Walnut Hill, Cheers!
