History

Established in 1995.

After working with an audiologist for several years Melvin Mock decided to open a full time office that would be more accessible and affordable for those who struggle with hearing loss. That was twenty years ago and in that time thousands have found help and understanding. In addition Mel has given back by going on many medical mission trips helping the hearing impaired around the world. At Advanced Hearing Center you are part of a family not just a customer.

After 20 years as an ordained minister Mel found himself working in an audiologists office who took care of his youngest daughters hearing loss. Working and training in this environment equipped him for the transition to his own business, Advanced Hearing Center which he started in 1995. Mel is licensed by the State of Ohio, served as Chairman of the licensing board for seven years and is Board Certified in Hearing Instrument Sciences. He continues to preach as a minister at large and has completed 9 medical mission trips to various parts of the world.
