The Carroll Law Firm is a premier, full service law firm, with a staff of experienced attorneys to provide professional representation and counsel to our clients. We have a local office here in the Historic town of Smithville. We also have two other locations located in Anthem, Arizona and Surprise, Arizona. Our firm has over 50 years of combined legal experience in a variety of practice areas, and will provide you the best representation. History

Established in 2000.

The Carroll Law Firm first opened its doors in 2000. Owner James J. Carroll, III, has been practicing law since 1981, and established his first office in New Jersey. Jim expanded his office by bringing on an of-​counsel attorney, Reginald Floyd, in the New Jersey office, and, ultimately a full-​time attorney, Benjamin Brenner. Jim later opened the Anthem, Arizona office in 2006, and expanded to include an office in Surprise, Arizona in May, 2012.

Meet the Business Owner

JAMES J. CARROLL, III, ESQ..

Business Owner

Jim is the owner of the firm. He has a law degree from Seton Hall and a Master of Laws degree from NYU. He has taught at Rutgers Law School, Stockton College, and Fairleigh Dickinson. He has over 25 years of experience as an attorney and has worked for the N.J. Attorney General’s Office, the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office, the New Jersey Turnpike Authority; he has served as a municipal attorney for the Townships of Galloway, Hamilton, Weymouth and the City of Egg Harbor; and he has extensive experience in both the private and public sector. Mr. Carroll has tried numerous cases at both the State and Federal level in both civil and criminal courts. Through his many years of governmental service and political involvement, Mr. Carroll is able to assist clients in developing prompt solutions to complex situations.
