If I could give zero stars I would. I booked and pre-paid for a room through at Casa Del Mar Beach Suites managed by AB Sea Resorts. Turns out there are $ 100.50 in extra fees hidden in the«small print» section. Horrible! I don’t recommend you book anything through this management company

ROACHES! And, they didn’t care… One star, because zero was not an option. We checked into two condos, booked through ABSea Sales & Rentals. Never again! One condo(Maravilla 115) had a giant hole in the bathroom wall, where the mirror should have been. The ladies staying in that condo found the mirror(broken and jagged) in a closet, but they propped it up in the bathroom, because they needed it. The management did admit to knowing that the mirror was broken and not getting it fixed. The second condo(Maravilla 205) was a much worse experience. It was INFESTED with tiny, gross roaches. The office was closed, so we bought a can of Raid and slept with the lights on. Roaches were seen crawling on the refrigerator, the walls, the TV, in the pantry, and multiple came running out of the oven when we opened it while spraying.(Obviously, we ate in the other condo.) The next day the condo office was not helpful. They said they did not know and that housekeeping didn’t see the bugs. That is very hard to believe since there was«evidence» of them in multiple spots on the kitchen counters and they were not exactly hiding. It was the most disgusting thing I had ever seen in person(instead on some crazy TV show). The managers, Donzell Veazie and Eric Shaffer were rude, condescending, and refused to make it right. This was some of the worst customer service I have ever seen. I felt that they should have comped the night and possible reduce the price of the(more expensive) condo that we were moved to. They explained that they could not do a discount, because the condos were individually owned by different people. That made sense to me, and once we saw how well cared for Maravilla 156 was, we were perfectly happy to pay the appropriate rate to that owner. I do NOT feel that we should have had to pay for a night sleeping with lights on and a can of Raid, followed by dealing with rude managers when I should have been attending the conference I was in town to attend. So, not only did we have a terrible night, we missed part of the conference that we had already paid to attend, because we were dealing with their BS. They charged us full rates, two $ 33.50 departure fees(one for the broken mirror room and one for the roach room) and one $ 71 dollar departure fee(for the nice, but more expensive room), in addition to a travel protection fee of $ 10.50(WTH) and a $ 13.75 damage protection fee(for the room with the already broken mirror…). Then, they tacked on a $ 25 discount for«pest control issue.» Seriously? $ 25! We have our state conference in Galveston every few years, and I will never put my staff in any of this company’s condos again!

We had a great time. We stayed in the one bedroom condo with two bunks, and a pull out sofa. It is hard to say what every room looks like because they are individually owned. We stated in 2217 and it was nice. It had granite counter tops in the kitchen and bathroom. It had flat screen TV’s. The rooms are not to small but I wold say they are cosy. The pool was nice, they have a kiddie pool, general hot tub and a adults only hot tub. The pool is staffed when it is open so rules get enforced. They have 4BBQ pits so you can grill. There are some nice swings where you can relax. You have private beech access. Over all we had a good time and good experience. The price was reasonable and I would stay again. Next time I would like a room with a pool view though, and a 1st floor room because the patios are bigger on the 1st floor.

I rented a condo through this company and had a horrible experience! My room was not cleaned from the previous guests and they did very little to resolve this issue. The office was closed upon my arrival and I was unable to speak with anybody until the following morning. The linens were not changed, there were pizza boxes, cigarettes, and soda bottles left in the kitchen. The floors were covered in dirt and hair. The countertops had food residue and the bathrooms hadn’t been cleaned either. Their customer service is horrible. It’s impossible to get a hold of anyone and they never return your phone calls. Management is non existent. After getting the run around for 2 days I was finally able to get a $ 25 compensation. Woohoo. NOT! I suggest booking a condo through an individual owner. These guys are a joke!
