Tony & Bros Wrecker Service & Garage

Their service was overly expensive. They were Rude. Nasty. Gross. I would push my car home before I would ever do business with them. They seemed to have fun making fun of the situation and took advantage of the girl who they were taking money from. These people were just nasty. I wanted to leave as soon as possible and take a shower. It’s disappointing that there are people in this world like this.

I was stranded and their driver did a great job. He had to drive me around to find the right spot to take my car and I thought he was great! The only complaint I had was that the truck could have been a little cleaner.

Worst customer service on the face of the planet. I understand company policies but I also understand what customer service is. I have never ever been in an accident or needed a tow for any reason. I found out from my insurance company that I can be reimbursed for towing. Not having ever dealt with this before I simply called Tony Brothers and asked if they could send me that receipt. The woman that answered the phone was very polite and when I inquired about getting a copy of the receipt she put me on a brief hold to come back on and tell me that I had to come all the way down there (45 min drive) to show proof of who I am before they would give me anything. I told her that I had no way down there because my car was in the shop and I didn’t have a rental. She put me on hold again and a young man got on the phone whom I think has never had to deal with being even slightly polite. He proceeded to tell me that they need my vin # and ID before they could give me a receipt and that I had to come down to sign it. I explained to him my lack of transportation and he berated me for not having a second vehicle (who really does) and that he had no way of knowing if it was even me. I told him I have no problem sending him my info via fax or phone and that I could even sign the receipt and send it back. NOOOOOO that doesn’t work… they «already gave me a deal» usually they charge $ 150 for a tow. I only had the car towed 20 blocks and in Galveston that’s not that much. I even asked if my father who lives on the island could come and take care of it because I work the same hours that they are open and have no ride to get there. He was beyond rude and raised his voice at me… I will admit I got pissed off right back at him and raised my voice back. I told him I had never been in a wreck so I wasn’t even thinking clear enough to ask for a receipt and I didn’t even know I could be reimbursed back for it. To say that I am disappointed in how it was handled is an understatement. I even have friends and family that have worked there and used this company over the years. I am astonished at the way it was all handled. Offering me a solution instead of getting attitude and yelling would have been a much smarter and adult thing to do.
